Il personale è molto utile e cortese - avevano un servizio d'argento da loro dal momento in cui siamo entrati. Dritta dal valletto, al ristorante per colazione, al bar di Eddy e al servizio notturno - tutto è assolutamente fab. Il soggiorno a Anantara è stato un'esperienza grande e lussuosa per noi. Abbiamo avuto una delle suite e includeva anche le strutture spa. La nostra stanza era di fronte al verde che era un grande piacere svegliarsi ogni mattina. Abbiamo usato le loro saune, i bagni a vapore e la palestra quasi ogni giorno della nostra lunga permanenza settimanale. Hanno una navetta al club di racket che è molto divertente se hai un adolescente come abbiamo fatto. Il loro corso e la gamma di golf è davvero bello. Abbiamo ordinato anche il servizio in camera in uno dei giorni e la diffusione del menu e il servizio è di prima classe. Ti fanno sentire come il regalo. Il colazione ha una vasta diffusione e il personale si aspetta davvero sulle mani. Il loro lobby ha anche un'ampia gamma di champagne e di dolci trattamenti. Raccomanderò molto Anantara a Marbella.

Stayed here as part of a group when the other TRH hotel we were scheduled to stay in was overbooked. The positives, the public areas of the hotel are fairly clean and well maintained, the food at breakfast and dinner was fairly good,although the ”English corner” at the breakfast buffet was a bit odd. As far as I know, not many English people eat Chorizo, garlic mushrooms and hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Food at dinner was OK, nice selection of salads and sweets but the main courses were a bit repetitive. The staff at reception and in the dining rooms were brilliant and very helpful The less positives, the rooms could definitely do with a revamp as some of the furniture was looking a bit worn. The rooms also had a rather infuriating lack of electrical plug points for charging phones, i pads etc. The other problem is the location which is right out in the outskirts of Estepona. If you have transport, it's less of an issue but there is only one small supermarket within walking distance along a road with no pavement. Not ideal if you have mobility challenges. Didn't use either the indoor or outdoor pools so can't comment on them. Overall, it was a decent enough hotel to use as a base for exploring the area.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel e la mia esperienza è stata pessima. Sono arrivato in hotel il 17.08 per il check-in (1730 euro per 7 notti, non poco direi dato che trattasi di 240 euro circa a notte) e mi hanno fatto pagare anticipatamente l’intero soggiorno. Arrivo in camera ed ecco la sorpresa. Mi hanno assegnato la camera per disabili. Camera 366. Camera con bagno con supporti per persone disabili, doccia immensa con tenda e spazio per la carrozzina, mobilio molto basso per consentire giustamente la possibilità di appoggiare oggetti, specchio molto basso. Assenza di mobilio in bagno. Apprezzo tantissimo che l’hotel abbia queste camere, va il mio plauso all’hotel ma non accetto che una camera per disabili sia stata assegnata a persone normodotate. In primis perché hanno tolto la possibilità di prenotazione ad una persona che magari voleva prenotare è che avrebbe avuto la necessità di quei servizi. Scandaloso poi che nessuno mi abbia detto nulla, mi hanno fatto pagare senza avvisarmi dell’accaduto. Sono stati anche in malafede, agghiacciante per un Barceló, catena mondiale e di altissimo livello. Sono sceso immediatamente a chiedere un’altra stanza ma mi è stato detto che non era possibile e me l’avrebbero cambiata solo la sera successiva al mio ritorno dalla spiaggia. Così in effetti è avvenuto. Trovo però assurdo che nessuno abbia voluto scusarsi per l’inconveniente, che nessuno mi abbia offerto qualcosa per rimediare all’accaduto (cena offerta, parcheggio pagato) e soprattutto che nessuno mi abbia detto nulla prima di farmi pagare. È una vicenda gravissima. Barceló è una catena meravigliosa con hotel di altissimo livello ma in questo modo il nome di Barceló non fa una bella figura. La nuova camera era comunque bella e il buffet ottimo, rispecchia la fama della catena. Personale non sempre cortese, lavorerei anche sulla cordialità del personale.

La cortesia del personale, è eccellente. 10/10 , anche se come sempre c'è un altro straniero che perde i documenti e così dovrebbe rimettirlo. Non tutto è consentito da un cliente soddisfatto ....
