Summary: Novotel BH provides a comfortable stay, with an excellent on site restaurant, but some service quality issues with the front desk staff take the shine off the experience. The good: Room: room is large compared to other Novotel I have stayed at recently. Big, comfortable bed and a large, hot, high-pressure shower. Excellent black out curtains and in room AC. Nice views of the city as well and surrounding hills. I got to enjoy a spectacular lightning storm on my last night. Restaurant: the on site restaurant is excellent, so much so I left a seperate review for that. Sebastiao and the restaurant team are fantastic and so was the food. Housekeeping: thank you to the team for their excellent service each day. Including leaving me a nice note when they heard my guest was unwell the night before and provided new towels and sheets on request without any issues. The bad: Accor status recognition: there was no recognition of my gold status on check-in and the welcome gift was a strange keychain/bottle opener; rather than the standard water or food item that I would have much preferred. A welcome note was left in the room, but in Portuguese. Front desk: check-in was a rough experience. When I arrived there were four staff, none who were serving customers and they all nudged each other while giggling to gesture for someone else to serve me. This property does share an entrance with the adjacent Ibis Budget - from this experience I thought I may have entered the wrong hotel. There is extremely limited English spoken by the front desk staff as well, my check in was conducted via grunts and nods. Keycard: thankfully not as bad as my recent experience at the Novotel in Rio, but my keycard stopped working twice during my three night stay - forcing me to waste time going to the front desk. Conclusion: with some retraining and enhancements to the service provided by the front desk, this hotel could easily become a four star rating. Right now, it’s just average in my opinion.

Poor experience, 1. The room reserved in advance was not available. 2. The window was broken, allowing direct light into the room without blackout. 3. The air conditioning doesn't turn off the light due to the control not being standard for the machine. 4. Being on the top floor, the noise from the elevator machine is clearly audible, providing a unique experience that, unfortunately, is worth it 👊. 5. To conclude, the snacks from the minibar were already pre-consumed and left in the same place. A rather peculiar situation 🤨. Maybe the trend will catch on, huh... Worst hotel experience in Brazil, and this is my first Google review. Room with an issue: 801. Top floor, first tower. Want an adventure? Just come and camp ⛺️.

Gostei muito da hospedagem. Custo x benefício ideal.Funcionários simpáticos. Café da manhã achei ótimo. Fui a trabalho. Pra descanso e deslocamento foi perfeito. Só senti falta de tomadas no quarto e o cobertor não estava com um cheiro agradável. Fica a poucos metros da praça 7. Usei o estacionamento conveniado , R$ 40,00 a diária com o desconto do hotel. Com certeza voltaria e indico.

UUtente ospiteEstive em BH em Junho de 2023 para participar de um processo seletivo e acabei ficando alguns dias a mais. Posso dizer que a experiência de ter ficado no Br Hostel foi excepcional! Bom custo-benefício, local bem limpo, organizado e conta com uma ótima estrutura. A localização é privilegiada, em um bairro tranquilo e seguro. Nos arredores, conta com uma grande variedade de restaurantes e serviços como supermercado e farmácia. Alguns dos principais museus e atrativos turísticos da cidade estão a poucos minutos a pé do Hostel. Atendimento nota 10!

GGabrielaSono andato lì il giorno di San Valentino e ho scoperto che l'intero hotel è in ordine, specialmente in questi anniversari. Molto conveniente e ne vale la pena! La colazione ricca e varia rende più prezioso il prezzo giornaliero. Anche la stanza è molto carina. Ho appena perso una piscina riscaldata perché l'area della piscina è fresca, ma è impossibile entrare, fa troppo freddo! Per gli hotel BH, il riscaldamento farà una grande differenza.

Servizio impecabile, zona di svago molto ben strutturata, con piscina pulita e riscaldata, accademia ideale per chi vuole mantenere gli esercizi anche durante il tempo libero. La stanza è semplicemente MA-RA-VI-LHO-SO! La camera è molto ben attrezzata, con tavolo per la zona di lavoro. L'hotel è situato in uno dei migliori quartieri di BH, vicino alle aree di svago e per chi ama la vita notturna è perfetto. Infine, ho amato l'esperienza e ritornerò con certezza!!! =D

We stayed for almost ten long days in this hotel, where beds are uncomfortable and the elevators are always packed. The front desk staff is rude and will show you an attitude anytime you stop by to ask for help. During the checkout, they tried to charge us for breakfast on a day that we were actually in another city in Brazil. I had to show them the boarding passes to prove that we could not eat in the hotel because we were not in Belo Horizonte that day. They have a huge conference center that is always booked. Good luck trying to get a cab in front of the hotel. You will have to find space between the buses parked in front of the front entrance. Additionally, this hotel is on a hectic road, and the windows are not noise-canceling. Therefore, the rooms are very noisy. There is a Japanese restaurant on the premise where the service is equally lame, and the food sucks. We did not pass the appetizer because the waiter brought us the wrong beer and refused to take it back, and the tempura was disgusting. The manager is too lazy to fix that mess because they get enough money with the conferences. We are not coming back for sure!!

Tive um servido caloroso desde a recepção, serviços do quarto (wi-fi, agua fria e quente para o banho,limpeza diária, cofre, geladeira pequena com refrigerantes, telefone, ar condicionado, etc), serviços ao almoço da manha contendo tudo necessário para iniciar o dia com mais energia e servido com muita gentileza . Teria gostado, sendo pela primeira, estar num quarto com panorama agradável que ajudasse contemplar a beleza local. A localização do Hotel e excelente e e um hotel lindo desde a entrada. As pessoas sao acolhedoras, isso e muito importante. Quanto aos gastos, talvez tivesse sabido dos precários dos refrigerantes na geladeira, teria tomado ou mesmo nao os teria tomado. Optando pela transparência ao cliente, poderiam deixar claro o precário senao fica parecendo que e oferta da casa. Mas isso nao tira a minha gratidão pela estadia calorosa que tive. Espero que continuemos colaborando em outros foros. O meu muito obrigada

RRafaelOttimo luogo e accoglienza confortevole. Caffè mattina con varietà e riposo in qualsiasi momento. Per quanto riguarda l'igiene ho avuto un piccolo problema con il coperchio che era sporco ma sono stati chiesti per risolvere. L'unica domanda sarebbe quella delle tovaglie da bagno che avevano un odore molto forte di cloro. In generale, ho trovato un buon soggiorno e anche la vista è molto bella.

UUtente ospiteL'hotel è molto ben situato, vicino a diversi punti della Savassi. La colazione è buona e costa 28 reali. Il parcheggio, terza, costa 40 reali/giorno. Ha la stessa struttura dell'Ibis, camera piccola ma funzionale. Il grande problema che ho avuto è stata la mancanza di carta igienica. Ho dovuto scendere per chiedere alla reception, perché non c'è telefono nella stanza. Nessuno è stato risolto. Solo dopo aver andato ancora tre volte alla reception, ho ottenuto il tanto atteso rulli di carta igienica. Ho trovato un caso, una mancanza di preoccupazione per l'ospite, per questo non voglio più ospitarmi lì.

The hotel is simple but an excellent choice if you want a place to sleep. The bed is comfortable so are sheets and blankets, however the towels were very olds (so thin we could see through it). I’ve stayed in other budget and that was never problem, so I was very surprised by it. Anyway, as its part of a hotel chain, I believe those problems can easily be solved. It´s a place I would stay again. (Review originally written in English.)

Ótima estadia. Hotel com boa infraestrutura, muito bem localizado, quarto amplo, limpo, cama confortável , com bom café da manhã. Ponto negativo é ter apenas canais abertos na televisão. O ar condicionado também é antigo, mas não chegou a ser um problema.
