Nice hotel but stayed during construction so very noisy earl in the morning. Nice big beds and rooms. Gym pool breakfast buffet and restaurant at hotel.

Es una m intente cancelar la reserva y no la cancelaron, por cuestiones del destino no pudimos abordar el avion y nos fue imposible llegar, pero ingresamos la solicitud de cancelación antes de la hora de check in

Arriviamo in hotel (dopo mille peripezie per prenotare il servizio shuttle) e ci viene detto che ci sono delle camere che sono in rinnovazione e non hanno una camera da darci. Abbiamo prenotato con quasi un mese di anticipo, come é possibile che in tutto questo tempo non ci abbiano informati del problema?L’hotel é caro per gli standard del Belize, ma lo scegliamo perché sappiamo il tipo di stardard che rispettano, ed é più vicino all’aeroporto di altri hotel.
Ci offrono di trasferirci in un altro hotel e come compensazione ci offrono la colazione, lo shuttle verso l’aeroporto l’indomani e lo shuttle per andare appunto al Best Western per cena, se avessimo voluto, dato che nell’altro hotel non c’era il ristorante. Non abbiamo altra scelta che accettare.
Arriviamo nell’altro hotel, tutt’altro tipo di struttura (One Place South Hotel, Belize City): si tratta di una sorta di home stay, senza piscina; il personale é molto gentile, ma l’hotel non ha nulla a che vedere con i canoni occidentali. Facciamo notare che la camera non corrisponde alla descrizione; la signora dice che ha fatto del suo meglio per cercare di accomodarci. Dopo insistenze ci dice che parlerà con il ristorante per farci avere uno sconto sulla cena. Lo sconto é di ben 3,5€ ridicolo. In sintesi: hanno fatto overbooking, ci hanno messo in un altro hotel di categoria inferiore. Avevamo chiesto lo shuttle per l’aeroporto alle 7.40, abbiamo aspettato fino alle 8 perché avevano per quell’ora il transfer di altri ospi

Beautiful property and very clean and safe. Only downfall was they charge per person and if child is 12 they’re an adult and this is not shared if booking through a third party-we we’re charged by hotel an additional $70 because of this…other than this, hotel was great!

I booked ahead time with the hotel to pick us up at the water taxi terminal. They were over an hour late even though I told them the time and the hotel was only 15 minutes away. We kept calling and the front desk kept telling us the taxi was on the way. After numerous calls and over an hour later we got our own taxi. Once we got to the hotel, the person at the front desk lied and said the taxi from the hotel saw us get in to the other taxi and they were waiting for us. I responded no I looked around before we go into the other taxi and there were no other cars or people that pulled into the area. After I said that she did not say anything because she knew it was a lie. The property was fine, the room decor was very dark and felt dated but was clean. The front desk staff were not very helpful and a few people working there had an attitude when we were trying to book a taxi.

We booked rooms for 2 different nights, arriving and departing Belize, because it was close to the airport. First night, our room was next to the bar, drunks screaming songs until 2 am. Second night, they had given our room to someone else and sent us to another hotel downtown. They promised to send a shuttle to take us to airport but they didn't show, even after we called them. Almost missed our plane!

The property is beautiful the pool, the restaurant, the bar, and the service/maintenance. Staff are all kind and lovely… The shuttle driver is helpful and informative.
The front desk, however, is really struggling. I have stayed here multiple times and they just cannot get it together. They are confused they are slow. They are quite honestly not competent at their job. Everything else is perfect… But the Front Desk needs to get it together.

Parking lot being paved and so for shuttle they told us wrong area. Also, man working outside bathroom window with view inside the bathroom! Who has a window in the bathroom?

The rooms are clean, restaurant and bar is on site, the pool is great, and there is a shuttle service that is helpful when planning adventures. There is also a small gift shop and small convenience shop at the front desk. The hotel is between the airport and water taxis making going between them convenient. There isn't much to see within walking distance of the hotel though. Plan on using the shuttle ($25 usd for 2 people per trip), renting a car, or calling a cab when you would like to leave the hotel.
