Could not speak highly enough of the park and staff. Reception staff are very efficient and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. On arrival we were escorted to our site, then guided our van effortlessly into place. Five star service from the very start. The park is kept in excellent condition and the team could not be more friendly or helpful. The site had excellent views across the lake making a drink with friends by the fire very enjoyable. Have booked in for a holiday there again early next year.

From the very start, we just knew we were going to have a wonderful few days. Such a beautiful park overlooking the lake. Friendly greeting at check in, an escort to our site and assistance getting onto our site nice and straight! And what a site….. so much space among the autumn trees! With the nights getting cooler simply order a fire pit, kindling and wood for a very reasonable price and it’s delivered to your site!! Oh did I mention the amenities…. Pristine clean…. of course! Cannot fault our stay except we didn’t book long enough ….. so we’ll have to come back and soon!! Thank you for such a lovely stay

We come here once a year in the March/april school holidays, in the non Easter week. This was our 4th year & we had another great experience. The park has everything you need, some entertainment, great amenities & space for the kids to explore & play. Town is a short walk or bike ride away & there’s plenty of what you need AND want there. Lake sambell is a nice spot for a swim for the kids especially if the reeds have been removed! We stay in Lakeview cabin 1 & enjoy the bbq on the deck & a cabin that has a clean bathroom, great view & heating/cooling depending on what weather Victoria is putting on.

Excellent tourist park and location. We had a lovely spacious site for our two week stay. Staff were so so helpful, a constant presence in the park. Spotless amenities and facilities. Great walks and cycling on the trails commencing from the park.

We visit Beechworth a couple of times a year and stay at Lake Sambell, and for good reason. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating (this time I had to ring as I was making multiple bookings for sites. As per usual the staff were extremely helpful.) The facilities at the park are very well kept and clean. Fires are allowed including the park selling wood and providing a fire pit for a small fee. It is a sensational country caravan park that I highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Sambell Caravan Park. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our site and assisted with backing in. The walks around the lake were lovely and sunsets spectacular. One of the things that impressed us was the cleanliness of the park. The amenities were absolutely spotless and the rubbish bins ( there were plenty of them) were emptied every day.

Everything was good quality during our stay here: customer service, views of the lovely area around the lake, size of the sites, and the amenities block was super clean (probably the cleanest I have ever experienced in a caravan park). The only suggestion I would make is that it would be nice to be given a choice of camp sites. As it happened now, all campers were placed very close to each other even though there were other more private sites available.

This is a very friendly And clean Caravan Park which is situated in a very convenient position close to the town centre. We stayed in a Cabin which had all the amenities that were needed to make our stay pleasurable. I would stay again and would also highly recommend this park to anyone.

Very friendly staff with fantastic communication from booking through to departure. Facilities were modern and kept clean, the park was large and in a great location, short walk to the historic township of Beechworth. We highly recommend this caravan park as it is set up to accommodate your desired needs (quiet and tranquil or entertaining with mini golf, volleyball etc). We will definitely stay again.
