Comfort Inn & Suites

Comforter had blood stains on it. Couch had stain on it. 1 bath towel & few other towels stocked in bathroom. Disconnected telephone & radio were dirty. Room was not cared for very well. Nothing felt very clean. Clerk at desk seemed nice - but did not speak English. It looked like he had been on shift constantly for at least 2 days. Breakfast was appalling. We left & got breakfast at McDonalds.

I stay at Comfort Inns 50-75 times per year. This hotel was below average for sure. Poor housekeeping, tv remote did not work, bathroom very poorly designed. The breakfast was very poor. Few offerings and no hot coffee when I got there. Questionable guests observed. Would not stay there again.

The bathroom toliet was over a foot from the wall and sat in the middle of room so its the door would not open all the way without pushing against the toilet. The front entrance slider doors had to be manually pushed open and closed. When checking in I asked what time was breakfast which was told 6 - 9:30, well there wasn't anything just coffee, sign said breakfast sandwhichs at checkin desk, there wasn't anyone there. Coffee pot in room was dirty, hadn't been washed from previous use. Only supplied 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel, had to ask for wash cloths. All resevations made through Choice were non cancellations.

I always try to write a review with something good to say. The only good I can say is it was in a good location off I40. I normally try to overlook things being a little dirty in hotels. Obviously no place is going to be 100% clean. But this place wasn't even trying. The walls in our room were absolutely disgusting, the tile floor looked like it had throw up stuck between the cracks, the bathroom wouldn't drain, the bed spreads were stained with who knows what, and let's not forget the swimming pool. I've never seen an indoor pool so disgusting in my life. It was so cloudy that you couldn't see the bottom and there was trash floating. I will never stay here again!!

Beds were decent. That's the best I can offer for positive. No hangars in closet, no soap, no Kleenex, half a roll of toilet paper, skimpy towels, "breakfast" consisted of packaged sweet rolls and coffee, but the final straw was NO hot water in the morning after one quick shower. VERY poor representation for the Choice brand.

The first experience was with the indifferent and rude receptionist. My husband is handicapped but can manage an elevator. We asked for a handicapped room. It was 3:45 pm. He told us you could only do handicapped on line??? Then we asked for first floor and were told they were full??? Not hardly a car in sight. So, he gave us room 311. We went up and when my husband unlocked the door, he discovered a woman in bed. We shut door and she promptly came and opened it. We showed her our keys. We both went down and he, without apology, gave us 411 with a King size bed located far from the bathroom which is a hazard for my husband. There was no soap (and we were told they only supply shampoo and conditioner). There was no toilet paper and it did arrive about 1 1/2 later. My husband could not take a shower as there was no grab bar in tub only on outside at end of tub where shower did not reach. The lady whose room we opened was also treated rudely. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The morning clerk was nice and rooms were at least clean. This facility should NOT BE A CHOICE HOTEL or any other for that matter.

Stopped late at night and left early morning. Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. Typical free breakfast, desk people very friendly, and polite. Price was reasonable, reservation was made directly with the hotel and was easy.

The beds were comfortable. The bed sheets was clean and soft. The pillows was just right. Room temperature was good. We had warm water to shower. We requested extra towels and we got them. We did run out of toilet paper. The Night Shift did not have any on hand. Our room did not have anything broken or needed repair. Customer service was pleasant and helpful. I do recommend putting a mirror next to the desk. When your multiple people and the only good light and mirror is in the restroom. It could be very inconvenient as it was. I did find it interesting that no upper light fixtures to lighten up the room. Just lamps. But, overall I did like my stay.

Tried again. Still under construction. Won't stay again. No furniture, no breakfast, no entry or exit except front door which didn't work. However the room on the 4th floor was fresh and clean. Beds were excellent. If they can ever get the rehab done the hotel will be nice.
