Beaufort Harbour Suites and Lodges

If I could give this -5 stars I would: My husband, my mother and I stayed in the Beaufort Harbour East Suite and that was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Upon entering the house we were immediately struck with a foul smell of mold and mildew. As the time in the house progressed my allergies kicked up and my husband's asthma was triggered. My mother and I were sitting on the couch and got chilled so I took one of the blankets off of one of the bunk beds to cover up with and it smelled so badly I threw it completely out of the house onto one of the chairs on the porch outside. Thank God we had sense enough to bring our own blankets and pillows. I wish we would have rejected the house altogether, but I wasn't sure we would've be able to find other accommodations at that point. In the future I will definitely do more research before accepting and staying in something like that. It was NOT a comfortable stay at all.

Very friendly staff and excellent value. The room had entire kitchen facilities, a nice little balcony, and a very nice shaded common area with tables, chairs, sofa etc. It's a short walk to downtown and to the nearby Homer Smith Marina. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Location is good, just a few blocks away from the main pier/road and right next to the main road into town. Important to know there is no office located on the premises, you have a to go down a couple blocks to check in and get your key. Area seemed safe and quiet. Each floor has huge balconies and outdoor areas. Our individual room didn't have a balcony. Bed was very uncomfortable.

I just needed a quick getaway and friends recommended checking out Beaufort. I enjoyed my stay at Beaufort Harbour Suites. The rooms were spacious, clean and I found the bed to be very comfortable. I enjoyed being able to open the sliding doors and enjoy the warm breeze. I was only there for two nights, but the rooms have everything you need for extended stays. And the best part for me, is that I could park the car on arrival and walk to everything and not need the car again until my time to go home. If heading to Beaufort, I would recommend staying here and would chose it again for my next stay.

I’ve stayed here two times and have just rebooked for my third stay. The big carrot. The big carrot is that they take pets. There is a nice area in the back to walk your pet also. The suites are very comfortable and the common area is perfect for relaxing and maybe a cocktail or two. Be sure to pack a to go. it's a short walk to the downtown waterside area but as a single older woman I would hesitate to do so at night. Pet friendly +reasonable rates, what more can you ask for?
