very good place, god géographical situation to visiting Bayonne; Good price for this type of Hotel and city.

Quiet and convenient

Superbly located within the old city’s medieval walls. Our room even had a view to the spires of the cathedral a hundred meters away. Easy walking access from paying underground parking and to everywhere in the old city. Well-appointed studio, though not fully handicap-accessible (4 steps to studio front door). Friendly welcome.

When I arrived, after the reception had closed, I was left waiting for someone to answer the phone on the pavement for quite a while, without any message saying i was in a queue, or that the caller knew i was waiting, which made it very stressful at that time of night. The accommodation, although advertised as sound proof, was actually very noisy. The fittings were a little dated, with bubbled up splash back in the kitchenette. Very central in a perfect location. Helpful staff at the reception.

The room was basic but comfortable, with a little kitchen, tv, small bed area with twin beds (not much space to move them apart), and good size bathroom. The common areas are somewhat dated but the apartment itself was clean & modern, if not luxurious. We arrived after a long day of travel from Vancouver, four hour layover in Paris, flight to Biarritz, and bus to Bayonne, so we knew that quiet and sleep would be top priority. We requested a quiet room on an upper floor, far from any elevator and exterior noise. We were given a room on first floor, immediately adjacent to the elevator, & overlooking the square where, at around 7:00 pm, a rock band with huge speakers and drums started playing in the square in front of our room. Needless to say it was far from quiet. Due to the reception service being only certain hours, we had no way to request a different room (if they even had one available). However, the band did shut down at a reasonable time and it was quiet through the night. The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to the cathedral and easy walking distance to everything. We walked to the train station next morning in only about 15 minutes. Though disappointed that the hotel ignored our room request, we would recommend the hotel in general for the cleanliness and great location.

Une horreur !!! Les plafonds sont moisis dans la salle de douche. Pire ! Le matin je me reveille, le plafond de la cuisine était en train de s’effondrer !!! J’ai demandé un remboursement de la chambre, réponse de la direction : « Pourquoi on vous rembourserait ? Ça ne vous a pas empêché de dormir ? ». Mauvaise foi évidente et depuis : l’établissement refuse de me répondre au téléphone. A fuir absolument !!!

Accueil à revoir, impossible de prendre une résa par téléphone, filles pas très aimable, seul un homme d'un certain age fut sympa et réellement commerçant. La situation de l’hôtel est très bonne, par contre oubliez de venir en voiture, pas de parking, obligé de se garer en zone payante toujours à au moins 5/10min du marche. Hôtel sans clim (pourtant il y a des panneaux de contrôle dans les chambres), ça peut vite être pénible, surtout coté cours où la zone full béton rayonne beaucoup y compris la nuit en ces période de forte chaleur. 2 ventilateurs étaient fournis en compensation. Chasse d'eau cassée, porte du freezer cassée, sinon le reste était correct et permet de passer un bon séjour. Porte d'entrée avec un groom interminable, très pénible à manipuler. La douche était une horreur, inondation de la salle de bain (et du reste parfois à en juger l'état du parquet) à chaque douche. Il n'y a pas de bac à douche, tout est sur carrelage au même niveau et sans pente, donc c'est un concept piscine-salle de bain. Faut être prêt.

La habitacion era correcta. Nos alojamos 4 personas en un apartamneto. El baño fue lo que no nos gustó. Se salia el agua de la ducha y era incomodo que estuviera el suelo mojado de todo el baño aun despues de secarlo con la fregona
