Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

Absolutely beautiful resort. We drove and arrived very late, staff was accommodating and got us to our room right away as we were very tired. Staff was top notch, room was immaculate and welcoming. Multiple pools to choose from, multiple restaurants to choose from. They offered fun family activities throughout the week that we stayed such as nightly movies, scavenger hunts, pool party, tie-dye shirts, plenty of arts and crafts to choose from for the week, so much fun! The only complaint we had was birds around the pool at the dig site kept pooping in the pool so the pool kept closing for maintenance. It was great that they kept closing to clean and re-check the pool pH it was just more annoying than anything because it had closed multiple times one day when it was 90° in very hot. Other than that everything was great! The cafeteria food was great and we also tried the three bridges restaurant which was excellent as well!

What a beautiful place! We stayed in a tower room with a view of the lake. I don't know that I would want to stay in a non tower room here just because it would be a lot more walking. Even in a tower room it's a fair amount of walking between the restaurants, pool, etc. But, it's worth it as it's beautiful and relaxing. Food was good. Not my favorite disney food court but I always found something I liked. The gluten free chocolate cake was amazing, even if you don't eat gluten free. Three bridges restaurant was so fun, we all liked our food there. Their churros, flan, tacos and mahi mahi were our favorite dishes. Pool was great. My kids loved the slide which is not too scary for smaller kids but still thrilling. There was some shade by the pool for those that don't want to be in the sun. The kids outdoor play area was one of the best at Disney, my daughter said. We'll definitely go back. This place is better for a trip that you want to spend some time at the resort and enjoy what they have to offer. We stayed 4 nights. Housekeeping came every day and were friendly and helpful. They even graciously cleaned around my sleeping son one day and made sure not to wake him. Busses were good. Ya, there are several stops, but who who cares, you're at Disney. Wait times were not bad at all, and we were there first week of March.

So the main hotel building is lovely but unless you are staying in the main hotel, the quality suffers. The main pool is fun but small. Arcade is terrible as most of the machines dont work or jut eat your money. Service at the pool bar is incredibly slow. Rooms outside the main hotel are basic but fine. Cleaned every two days. The main issue is the food. You will need to book reservations very, very early to get in anywhere. There are not enough places to eat for the size of the hotel. Your only other option apart from the 4 restaurants is the main 'dinner school' style food market. The offering is very American. Fried food, pizzas, chicken fingers. None of it is very good and it is all very expensive. $18 USD for one bad burger. If you can get into the restaurants then the quality is better. Still expensive but better. So the main hotel building is lovely and its good access for Disney parks. The bus service is great and its very convenient. If you don't care about food then go for it. Otherwise I would look elsewhere.

Beautiful site set around a lake with a restaurant in the middle and plentiful pools and activities around the perimeter. We stayed in a cabana and it was excellent. Quiet and comfortable. The free bus service to the parks worked well although it was very busy at times. The food was fantastic everywhere we ate at the resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and the whole place felt incredibly calm and safe. The pools had free life jackets for infants and there were lots of lifeguards in the main pool. Only small criticisms would be that the arrival seemed rushed, we had to chase housekeeping to get our room cleaned and there is a lot of single use plastic and throw away cardboard plates used everywhere in Disney - would be good to see some more environmental responsibility. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Just returned from 10 nights stay in destino towel been before also and love it! A couple of peeves only one being given the run around for DAS due to my disability was told I could get it at Disney springs which we didn’t think you could only at a park however since we arrived in the evening thought well we will go as would be better sorting before visiting park in morning!!! The girl behind reception didn’t even phone through to check and thinking back she brushed us off! When we got to Disney springs and went to guest relations they said they have never done it there needs to be the parks so time wasted and too although to visit the park to sort! The bus now stops last at hotel before it was first at destino!! The cleaning of the room wasn’t great yes it was cleaned every second day but floor was always still dirty!!! I will return though but will be more vocal next time!!!

We’ve been at Coronado springs for five days. The room is spacious and comfortable. The resort itself is gorgeous, especially the bridge across the big pond - so picturesque. The staff is super friendly, the food is great. The bus stop for Disney is 2 minutes from our room! The kids loved the pool, playground, and arcade. However, we haven’t had turn-down service even once since we arrived, and we’ve called the front desk every day since day 2. As a mom, help tidying is one of the things I look most forward to when going on vacation - instead, we have felt disappointed each time we open the door to our room. Four of us living five days in a single room without a pass of a vacuum or a change is sheets has really “soiled” an otherwise wonderful stay. We finally had a housekeeping person (Adamarie) knock on our door this evening, but the kids are already in pyjamas and we leave in the morning. Added insult to injury.

I have stayed here many times but this time I had the most difficulty with check in. I had to return 3 times to sync magic bands and still I could not use for charging purposes. The grounds are lovely though. The conference attendees set the vibe. If you have a group that are heavy smokers then the whole resort smells which was the case as well!
