My parents and I had an opportunity to stay at this wonderful Harmika Hotel for a month. We chose this hotel as we had numerous positive reviews from our friends and families who were aware of this hotel's first class service. Our stay was extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Food was excellent and most importantly all the staff at the hotel, and the manager, were warm and welcoming at all times. Once again, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the entire team. Harmika Hotel will no doubt be the choice of stay for us in the future too. We would strongly recommend it to everyone. We stayed at the Shambaling hotel for multiple times over the years now and it is the hotel we return to when coming to Kathmandu. Certainly a bit more pricier than other options, but in our opinion well worth it. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Boudhanath stupa area and a bit outside the hectic city center. Great if you want to escape the crowds. The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly, the rooms are very nice and we always slept very well. The front desk is very helpful in getting information. We always had breakfast at the restaurant to start the day. There is also a spa and sauna, however we never went there. Overall, if you are looking for a more upscale hotel in Kathmandu a bit away from the crowds, the Shambaling is an excellent choice.

Very friendly service at front desk. The best feature of this hotel is the lovely well maintained tranquil garden situated in the center of the building. It was a pleasure to sip a capuccino from the cafe situated next to the garden. Unbelievable for us having not visited Kathmandu in 20 years the arrival of good coffee A very short and interesting walk takes you to the bustle and noise of the Stupa. The room was adequate but like many rooms at this price point the only place to sit was on the bed. Our room had A/C but fortunately did not need it. The bathroom was clean but hot water only came intermittently during our stay. Management were helpful and always tried to fix the problem. Wifi likewise was a bit hit and miss. Sheets were were on the thin side but typical of hotels at this price point in Asia. Overall would recommend.

Non ci sono molte camere con aria condizionata in Nepal, quindi controlla la prenotazione. Sono rimasto in una stanza con aria condizionata per 6 giorni e era molto comodo. C'era una camera da letto e un bagno spazioso, quindi mi sentivo come se stesse in un piccolo appartamento. La struttura è molto conveniente e offre un servizio conveniente a un prezzo conveniente.
