"We stayed here a week. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not much in the immediate vicinity but a short Tuk Tuk ride to the centre. The room next door is only separated by a door and one night we had neighbours that partied late and woke early. Not ideal when you have young kids. The property needs a bit of maintenance as our shower dripped water across the floor flooding the bathroom nightly. In need of a spruce up and probably not worth the money we paid."

"Lovely hotel consisting of a few 2 floor buildings within wild garden and water features.
Staff were great and helpful.
The food was excellent with a choice of western or Khmer cuisine.
The room was large, welcoming and tastefully furnished with good shower/toilet facilities.
I would definitely return if the opportunity arose"

"My stay at this hotel was far from ideal, though it had a few positives. The location is not too far from the city center, but the surrounding area is quiet and lacks restaurants or cafes. Being next to a temple offers a nice view from some rooms, but it also means an unavoidable 7:00 AM wake-up call from the temple’s alarm for monks.
The biggest issues were the cleanliness and facilities—my room was full of ants, the bathroom drainage was clogged, and there was no safe box. The air conditioning was too strong and couldn’t be adjusted away from the bed, making it uncomfortable. Additionally, no breakfast was offered, not even for an extra charge, so I had to take a tuktuk to the city center every morning.
On the positive side, the room was spacious, well-decorated, and equipped with basic necessities. The price was reasonable, but given the drawbacks, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again."

"The room is beautiful but I don't love the tiles. I wish they installed a ceiling fan at the balcony.
Bathroom tiles are a bit tired. I don't like how they put the shower gel etc in a bottle.
I wish they provided slippers as the room floor is fully tiled, not wooden flooring. The room also doesn't have phone, so for sny request, you have to go down.
The staff were great, spoke good English and they recommended a great tuktuk driver and booked our bus ticket to Siem Reap. The hotel did not charge extra for the services."

"Das Personal ist super nett leider nicht sehr aufmerksam Mann muss jedes Mal an die Rezeption laufen wenn man was bestellen will sie würden deutlich mehr verkaufen wenn sie nachfragen würden das Essen war leider nicht gut die Zimmer sind super die Klimaanlage ist das einzige Manko leider sehr schlecht die Anlage ist gepflegt der Pool ladet nicht ein zum schwimmen beide Pools sind grün auch geschuldet vom vielen regen dennoch müsste man mehr Chlor einsetzen leider bin kein Fan davon aber ist notwendig in der regensaison ich kann es empfehlen wegen der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter und den Zimmern"

DDanicaWell I will start by saying we will be back! We are CNDs semi/retired in Phnom Penh. We needed a break feom the hustle and bustle of the big city and tried this resort. We were greeted with the sweetest most helpful young lady, missed her name, that took great care of us. As we walked passed the pool area and restaurant to our lakeside cabin I knew this was what we needed. It's gorgeous, clean, friendly and gardeners are so busy keeping it all clean but ever so discreetly. It was perfect! We're so happy we've found our escape place! Room 4 lakeside is so private and a deck right at the edge of the pond that has blooming lilies on it. Like a scene from a romantic movie. Thank you reception staff and restaurant staff for a beautiful get-away. We couldn't have asked for more. Oh and the food!! Top notch.

MMichael ZargarovThe Ramchang Guest House... is a bit of a way outside the ”city.” Battambang feels like a large, overgrown village. The hotel itself reminded me of country guest houses in Mexico.
The hotel is in the midst of rice-paddies. Easy to get to the town by TukTuk.
The room was not large, but was comfortable. AC worked well. Comfortable beds, with good linens.
The dining room serves delicious and affordable meals.
They have a good laundry service. The sweet lady even ironed my clothes. (I haven't had an ironed shirt in over 20 years!)
There is a swimming pool in the lush, tropical garden. Frangipani flowers under foot scented our meanders through the garden.
Over-all a great place. Note: Very little English spoken.

MMariaThe location is 5-8 minute walk from the center and French quarter, although not bad located it’s a bit dark at night. As a solo traveler it was bit uncomfortable returning alone by foot. The receptionists are very nice and sweet. My room was clean and comfortable although a bit old not bad at all. I did have a few ants here and there. Overall for just 1 or 2 nights it is not a bad option given the price!

UUtente ospiteWe stayed here for two nights and the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, the bathroom wasn’t the best but fine for two nights, one note is upon check out they charged more than was advertised on trip.com, we had to pay it to leave as we were going to miss our bus so we paid it however trip.com were great and reimbursed us for the difference.

GGunnar AustinThis was a pretty good hotel for the money. Certainly not the cheapest option in Battambang, but a step above the more budget options and probably worth the extra money.
The facilities were good, with the pool area being particularly nice. I really enjoyed the purified water station to refill your water bottle, which is far too rare in Cambodia. The front desk staff were friendly and spoke pretty good English. My room was really nice, and most importantly, super quiet as it was like a detached bungalow. Bed was comfy and towels/linens were clean and in good shape.
The only negative with this place is that it is quite far removed from the main part of downtown Battambang. While that help with the nearby noise, it makes going out for dinner require a tuk tuk. Also they close and lock the exterior gate rather early, and although there is a staff member sleeping nearby who will begrudgingly wake up when you knock/ring, it is still quite inconvenient if you decide to go downtown for a few drinks.
Still, I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place to sleep and are willing to spend a little more than budget accommodation prices.

FFatima SiddiquiL'Hotel Seng Hout è stato ampliato in modo significativo e ora ha 2 edifici. La sicurezza è leggermente compromesso, poiché c'è ora una passeggiata all'aperto lungo le finestre di molte camere, con alcune di queste finestre incapace di chiudere completamente - anche se non c'è stato alcun incidente di sicurezza effettivo durante il nostro soggiorno. Le strutture e la pulizia sono minime ma funzionali. Il personale si batte un po' con semplici richieste come la carta da bagno o le maglie supplementari (il maglione è più piccolo del letto, quindi può essere difficile condividere in letti matrimoniali - ma non è disponibile alcuna altra). Tuttavia, funzionale e confortevole soggiorno per il prezzo.
