Batesville: hotel a 2 stelle

If I could give them a 0, I would. I traveled home for my Aunts funeral to a property in Batesville, MS and booked the hotel for multiple nights. Got in late and it took over 20 minutes for me and my family to be put in a room. After the 4th or 5th time of the key not working to the room, the desk attendant finally went up and opened the door. No big deal, after driving 8 hours we all were tired so no big deal. At 2:30 in the morning, I wake up to my arm feeling like it was on fire, and this what was found when I turned on the lights. The bed bud was taken down to the front desk, the attendant verified and apologized and I was told I would get a $30 comp and told that I could talk to the manager April then next morning, Thursday of my aunts funeral. The manager was rude. Gave me a long spill about her hands being rude and there’s nothing she could do when I only asked to be comped for the one night. She denied. I informed her I was from out of state and she wanted me to wait until Monday until Pest Control came in to verify the room had bed bugs. What more does one need? I told her there was no way I could wait until Monday being that I was leaving back out Sunday the 1st. I asked for a refund. Nothing, so I had to find other arrangements for my family to stay and missed my aunts funeral. I’ve requested my money back several times, both through the 3rd party app and she’s denied it, so I filed a complaint with CORPORATE and Cynthia tells me again it’s denied and that a they have to stick by the hotel decision. MARRIOT? IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND DO BUSINESS? I only asked for one night to be comp, I booked for 3. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. The next step is me going through my bank. I tried to be reasonable. This happened at the end of December, it is now JANUARY 18th, 2022. I was told by Cynthia who supposed to be a Supervisor that I could call Maryland to speak to someone, because there was also nothing she can do, but the number she gave me was the same number I was talking to her own. Make it RIGHT!

Nice, clean and pretty well maintained for one of the lowest priced hotels in Batesville PLUS a dog show was in town bringing in 1000 visitors for the weekend so we were lucky to get a room. Breakfast and breakfast staff, both wonderful. I am a 100% disabled veteran so I did get a small discount PLUS the clerks young grandson carried my bags, showed me where my room and dining rooms were (I have stayed 5/6 times before so I actually knew where the dining room was but he was so happy to be helpful I didn’t tell him I knew). Great breakfast and the woman who works the dining room is so kind, helpful and always smiling.

Dopo aver guidato per sempre, cercando un posto buono per la nostra testa dopo un giorno e mezzo, ho passato due o tre altre proprietà in questa uscita (per nessun motivo particolare) per arrivare a questa. Ci sono stati accolti caldamente da Kiwanis, che ci ha informato che c'era una vacanza. Come fortuna, l'abbiamo fatto in tempo prima che il ristorante fosse chiuso. La cena era ampia e ben preparata. Dopo un buon sonno di notte in una bella, grande stanza pulita con tetti alti, tornato al ristorante per colazione. Dopodiché incontrò la cortese LaPrecious al desk front per aggiungere un altro giorno al nostro soggiorno, come siamo stati così felici lì. Purtroppo, così occupato tra Memphis e Clarksdale che non l'abbiamo mai fatto alla piscina, che ha turbato mia figlia, perché sembrava molto rinfrescante. Il direttore del desk front (non LaPrecious o Kiwanis) ci darebbe solo un check-out 30-minute più tardi, a differenza di un'ora, che era curioso perché non sembravano troppo occupati, ma qualunque cosa.

Il personale del front desk era incredibilmente amichevole. La stanza era grande, molto pulita e ben attrezzata. Le letti erano molto comodi. L'iscrizione e l'uscita erano molto facili. La posizione è a pochi passi dall'interstate, vicino a diversi ristoranti e molto accessibile al Batesville Civic Center.
