Hotel in zona Public footpath to Osidge Lane, Barnet

La camera e il bagno erano grandi e abbastanza moderne, ma i dettagli come i binari e il portatoio del bagno (non esistente) e uno specchio a dimensioni piene nel dormitorio (solo una piccola) erano stati ignorati e sarebbe stato bello. Le toilette in bagno sono state annunciate con una bottiglia di lavaggio a mano vuota sul bacino e una bottiglia di gel di doccia vuota nel bagno. Una cucina privata era annunciata come inclusa, non si sa cosa intendevano da privati, perché qualcuno la usava (non l'ho fatto), forse volevano dire che le persone non potevano semplicemente camminare per la strada e usarla. All’arrivo, la stanza e il bagno non erano troppo puliti e non c’era nessuna pulizia durante il mio soggiorno. Very pleased to get a room here, as London seemed busy at the time. Parking availability was excellent, and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere in reception and the dining area. It was bright, modern and appealing. The most memorable part of the stay was contact with the Duty Manager - a real character who is a comic tour-de-force. His quirky personality was reflected in the erratic layout in some areas of the hotel. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with one very pleasant and helpful member of staff, and one other who was sullen and swathed in a large anorak. The room was pleasant enough - the description of ”small double” was certainly accurate. I think the amount advertised for this on the website would be fair, but not the sum I was charged - and I understand this was discounted from the usual price. The wiring, though I have no reason to think it was unsafe, was untidy and hard to locate which switch related to whick appliance. The view from the window was uninspiring. I was told the room had been re-decorated within the past year which alarmed me, if evidence of mould in the bathroom had appeared in so short a time. I experience a ”prickly” feeling in nose and throat at the end of the stay and a few days afterwards - perhaps coincidence admittedly.

Pretty simple room yet clean and functional with ensuite facilities. Room had a fridge which was not advertised online and was a good plus. Good transport links to central London. Staff are very friendly and happy to help. Price was relatively cheap for London and good value for money. Recommended

Staied at The Manor, Elstree for three nights B and B, booked through Trip.com and paid extra for a “deluxe “ room. We checked in and we’re given a room called Notting Hill on the second floor of the old building. Very “trained” room, especially the bathroom. La mattina dopo abbiamo menzionato le carenze alla ricezione che ci hanno offerto una stanza diversa. Noi abbiamo dato ”Chelsea” sullo stesso piano. Un'ampia stanza in migliore condizione, ma non ancora deluxe. Ancora “fatica”. La colazione era bella con molte cose da scegliere. Tutti cucinati bene e molti dei prodotti da scegliere. Tuttavia, molto lento servizio, abbiamo aspettato 50 minuti dopo aver ordinato che i prodotti cucinati apparissero. Purtroppo, l'ultima sera, le rampe delle sedie a rotelle erano state lasciate fuori alle scale all'ingresso dell'hotel. Hotel in casa principale molto più bello delle camere da giardino, solo andato alla reception poi in alto, receptionist molto benvenuto. Non molto altro non c'è nessun ginnastica ecc. È tutto bene per fermarsi in

The staff was very nice and the whole place was full of young people. It definitely is a youth hostel and the place isn’t as big as other ones so it’s not super loud. Although the stairs are a little loud so that might wake you up. We stayed in a private room with bunk beds and they gave you towels and the shower was pretty good. The room was small as to be expected but it definitely wasn’t worth $180 a night when you could just pay for a bigger hotel room. The location was nice right by Hyde park and some free museums.
