This is a great find! I was stopping in London for a conference and it was nice to be able to find somewhere that was reasonably priced and had the option of parking- all a stone throw from the M1. Communication with the host was great and my room was full of amenities that you wouldn’t expect from a room for this price. The fridge was a real bonus and water/ coffee was provided in good amounts. There were free toiletries and plenty of towels etc. the bed was comfy and the option of A/C was also a nice surprise- although not needed as it was fairly cool weather. The house is close to the tube (5 min walk) and local shops and restaurants are hand. I would definitely stop again.

After a train strike scuppered our travel plans to London we decided upon a hotel not far from Brent Cross underground station, which was an easy drive from the bottom of the M1. The hotel was a converted house and included free parking on the front of the hotel although there was only space for two cars. For an extremely reasonable price (for London) of £205 for two nights (cheaper to book direct than through a third party) we had a basic but very clean and well appointed room. It boasted a comfortable bed and excellent shower and TV. Would stay again as only a 5 minute walk from the tube which was then only 20-25 minutes journey to Leicester Square/ Covent Garden/Westminster.

Sono proprio gia'stata a letto prima di andare a controllare e non potrei essere più felice con il nostro soggiorno al Pilar. Sono un utente di sedia a rotelle, ed è stressante cercare di trovare camere d'albergo veramente accessibili, ma questo include trafili di emergenza per letto e doccia, bar con bagno e un bagno sollevato, il sedile in doccia è infilato al muro. Alcuni hanno detto che il Wi-Fi è cattivo, ben abbiamo messo a letto e streamed shows da BBC iPlayer e 4 su Demand senza tamponare! Ciò che ha fatto questo speciale è che un Chuppah è stato creato proprio fuori dalla nostra stanza e la zona centrale presto riempita di ospiti, e abbiamo dovuto guardare questo momento speciale che si è concluso con molta canzone! La colazione era perfetta, e il personale è molto attento, e non posso perdere il nostro soggiorno in questo meraviglioso hotel.

Very pleased to get a room here, as London seemed busy at the time. Parking availability was excellent, and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere in reception and the dining area. It was bright, modern and appealing. The most memorable part of the stay was contact with the Duty Manager - a real character who is a comic tour-de-force. His quirky personality was reflected in the erratic layout in some areas of the hotel. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with one very pleasant and helpful member of staff, and one other who was sullen and swathed in a large anorak. The room was pleasant enough - the description of ”small double” was certainly accurate. I think the amount advertised for this on the website would be fair, but not the sum I was charged - and I understand this was discounted from the usual price. The wiring, though I have no reason to think it was unsafe, was untidy and hard to locate which switch related to whick appliance. The view from the window was uninspiring. I was told the room had been re-decorated within the past year which alarmed me, if evidence of mould in the bathroom had appeared in so short a time. I experience a ”prickly” feeling in nose and throat at the end of the stay and a few days afterwards - perhaps coincidence admittedly.

Il nostro hotel è stato aggiornato in una suite a terra che è spaziosa e tutte le strutture, tra cui lavatrice, frigo, zona di cucina, ferro, parcheggio gratuito, asciugacapelli, ecc. È un alloggio familiare ben situato che offre un soggiorno caldo e confortevole a Londra senza bruciare un buco nel vostro tasca. Molto raccomandato.

Un posto decente sopra un pub ha strutture di base, è tutto a posto se già conoscete Londra.

Al momento siamo rimasti all'hotel in camera 11. Quando siamo arrivati circa le 4:00, ci è stato detto che la stanza non era ancora pronta, perché erano stati inviati i fogli sbagliati per i letti (controllo in tempo è 3:00) quindi abbiamo gettato il nostro bagaglio e siamo tornati a bere. Nemmeno nel bagno c'era sapone o gel da doccia, eccetera, e questo è stato portato nella stanza. Mentre ci è stato detto che avremmo bevuto circa 20 minuti prima di portare le foglie giuste, ma avevano la dimensione sbagliata, invece, volevamo quelle che avevano? Poche ore dopo siamo andati in bagno e hanno mandato qualcuno... con le foglie sbagliate. E' tornata indietro... e poi ha preso le coperte di scarpe sbagliate. A questo punto mia figlia disabile era arrabbiata e avevo abbastanza. Questa cosa era stata fatta per diverse ore ora e non c'era risoluzione. Mia figlia era stata in terapia equina e se non avessimo avuto quella di nuovo domani, me ne sarei andata. Mi sentivo improvvisamente molto turbato di essere trattata in questo modo. Non è questo che abbiamo pagato. Sono davvero turbato dalla mancanza di cura e di servizio. Ho pagato molto per questa stanza e con due dei tre letti senza le foglie giuste come possiamo aspettarci di rimanere così? Ho parlato con il personale diverse volte, ma a parte loro, le foglie promettenti che non arrivano una reale risoluzione. In realtà piuttosto turbato. Non mi fermerò di nuovo qui - nessuna cura per gli ospiti.
