La mia moglie e io abbiamo fatto un breve viaggio a Barcellona e abbiamo scelto questo hotel a caso. Qual è la scelta migliore e buona fortuna! In primo luogo, la posizione era perfetta per noi - a destra delle Ramblas. Molto centrale. Abbiamo preso l'Aerobus dall'aeroporto che si è fermato a Plaça de Catalunya a poche distanza dalle Ramblas e ovviamente il nostro hotel. Abbiamo ricevuto un accogliente personale e un drink benvenuto. La nostra camera era confortevole e pulita e aveva bevande gratuite nel mini bar; macchina del caffè gratis nespresso, un letto grande e un sacco di pizzi! Il servizio di servizio è stato molto utile per il personale di ufficio con suggerimenti su cibo locale, viaggiare, prenotare biglietti ... È stato completamente un servizio a cinque stelle. Andremo certamente di nuovo a Barcellona e speriamo di poterci tornare a questo bel diamante di un hotel.

My husband and I visited Barcelona for 3 days (4 nights) while we were visiting family for 2 weeks in England. The hotel is exactly as described on their website. A 28 room modern, stylish hotel with a great little rooftop bar. At the end of each day we enjoyed the view and well made cocktails. Upon our arrival we were greeted and seated and the front desk with chocolate and a glass of cava. The staff spoke to us in English, which was nice for us. I saved my courage to speak my few words of Catalan and highschool Spanish for outside the hotel. We were taken on a quick tour of the hotel and then to our room which was upgraded to a mini suite with a welcome gift of a chilled bottle of Cava and more chocolate! We had a mini bar and complimentary tea and Nespresso coffee. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub which I used twice after long days of site seeing and walking. Diptyque bath products, hairdryer, hair straightener, magnifying mirror and bathrobes were all provided. Turn down service, slippers, bottles of water and a mini pastry was provided each evening. Two closets with full length mirrors, drawers and a safe kept all of our things nearly contained. The location was perfect for us. Many shops, bars and restaurants. We felt we made the perfect choice. The hotel and staff helped make this trip unforgettable!

This is a nice hotel and a good location right along La Rambla. In fact, it’s pretty much in the middle of everything in Barcelona - easy walking distance to the Gothic quarter and also to Gaudi’s houses. What is not walkable is easily reached by metro with a station very close. The only reason I did not give the hotel a five star rating is it was so typical of nice Marriott properties and did not have much of a local feel. If an American style large hotel is what you are looking for, then this hotel will suit you fine. I actually prefer a smaller, more authentic hotel when in Europe. The room I had was nice. Bright, clean and fairly large. It had a nice bathroom and good amount of closet space. Nepresso machine and frig stocked with mini bar items were also in the room. I did have breakfast at the restaurant both mornings. It was a breakfast buffet with typical offerings and the food was fine. Service was not great but not horrible either. The book ahead price was not ridiculously high compared to m au places I’ve stayed. Overall my stay was good, but I did regret a little that I’d left the conference hotel i had been in. The Meridian did not meet the very high bar that establishment had set!

Ci siamo trovati bene in questo hotel…..la posizione è ottima (proprio dietro Plaza de la Catedral), camere nuove, pulite e anche spaziose (rispetto alla media). All’ultimo piano c’è una bella terrazza dove si può prendere un aperitivo o un drink dopo cena. Molto buona anche la colazione e il ristorante.

Avevamo una delle più grandi camere da letto 904, ma la stanza stessa non era adatta al letto di grandezza re. Era rumoroso la notte. Possiamo sentire il bar superiore del tetto. Le anatre dal balcone erano numerose e continuavano ad invadere la nostra camera da letto. Le strade e le camere erano buie, rendendo difficile vedere la notte. Abbiamo pranzo al piano di sopra del bar al tetto. Il posto era bello, ma era sottoscritto. Il menu era cibo di strada giapponese. Ho avuto il pollo e il tonno. Sono stato soffocato da entrambi.Anche se il personale del front desk e del concierge erano grandi, non posso raccomandare questo hotel

Visitata qui con il mio partner Il check-in è stato veloce e facile Inizialmente abbiamo avuto una stanza senza bagno, ma voleva un bagno, quindi andava alla ricezione e pagava per il miglioramento. La stanza è stata dotata di strutture per la preparazione di tè/caffè e cioccolato complimentare. Doccia e era grande Letto e le mutande sono confortevoli - È un'ottima location! Non posso commentare il colazione come non ha ordinato nessuno. Il personale di ricezione era molto amichevole e utile, Grazie mille!

Firstly, please let me thank you staff behind within the reception team as the staff I came across were a credit to your hotel. I had a booking with you for 7 nights from the 10th to 17th September stayed in room 701. Arrived on the Saturday evening at about 21.15hrs checked in, The gentleman behind reception who checked us in was great first thing he said was Mr & Mrs Barrett many congratulations to you both on celebrating your wedding anniversary, that along with the check in went really well and this made us feel special. Up to room Wow !! factor was really impressed however it was like a sauna No problems we can sort it tried to play around with the settings and struggled getting temp down, plus a few sockets in the room was not working. No letter wishing us congratulations Once we unpacked, we decided to have a look around and get our bearings. popped back to reception and mentioned about the Sockets next to bed not working in room and the temperature. the same gentleman said it's not a problem he can sort out the room temperature but sockets will have to wait till the morning, ok great thank you, can we please book the spa for Sunday around 5pm if its free, yes, he said no problems its book for us. that was it. Saturday night in the room was still very hot but we managed and by the morning it was nice and cool. Sunday afternoon there was someone different on so went to collect the key for the spa and towels off we went really excited as this was our anniversary day. Nothing in the spa was working apart from the pool with bubbles, the Steam room and Sauna was not on, went up to Reception asked the team they said it should be but I assured them nothing was on. we were asked to wait around 15 to 20 minutes which will give things time to warm up but we lost the experience by then. Once finished handed key back to Reception and asked if we could book a table in the restaurant tonight we were told this is closed and the bar is closed as well. But on the web site it says open !! so our plans were going side ways instead. I also mentioned again about sockets and was told we will be on it fiorst thing monday. Went up to room and ran the bath as going to have a jacuzzi, this didn't work reported this to the same person in reception, so we got dressed and went out for dinner. Monday going out said to the team we are out now so feel free to fix the sockets and Jacuzzi and will be back later on during the day. We got back quite late and visited a few sites within your city loads of photos, so by the time we got back didn't check nothing as we were really tired. Tuesday morning completely forgot to check to see if things were working as we had a very early start and a long day. came back late evening time and once again completely tired. Wednesday, I tried the sockets again and still not working so on my way out I mentioned to the team about these and i assumed the Jacuzzi would be the same. They were shocked and thought thes

This experience has been one of the best we’ve had in Barcelona. The hotel room felt spacious and all staff members were exceptionally helpful. We are particularly impressed by Front Desk employee Luis and Gema. They were extremely supportive. They greatly aided us with transport and gave us local tips (such as good restaurants, how to take public transport etc.) Gema even personally helped us to arrange our luggage delivery to another hotel in a timely and efficient way. The luggage was closely monitored the whole process until it arrived in our hand. I would highly recommended this real 5 Star Hotel to everyone.

Posizione ideale dell'hotel. Abbiamo prenotato il parcheggio su internet perché quello offerto dall'hotel era più caro (20 €/giorno credo). Abbiamo trascorso il fine settimana di Capodanno lì. La nostra camera si affacciava sul retro dell'hotel con una vista molto bella, la camera era semplice ma pulita! Sono in corso lavori di ristrutturazione anche nelle camere. Unico inconveniente, l'insonorizzazione non ne fa parte ma con i tappi per le orecchie si risolve rapidamente! La colazione è completa e varia. Consiglio questo hotel che è, tutto sommato, molto bello.

“Ideal” in name, but NOT in reality. We spent four nights there, in three different rooms, because the hostel was so ridiculously overbooked. We kept finding ourselves locked out of our room, only to hear from the INCREDIBLY unhelpful and unsympathetic staff that our booking did not exist. We were moved from our all female dorm to a mixed dorm without being informed, and it took us asking to clarify that our dorm was female for them to tell us it was not. We had originally booked an all female dorm, and felt uncomfortable in the mixed, so we were moved yet again. Beyond all of these booking confusions, the Ideal Youth Hostel is not ideal for meeting other youths. First of all, the median age of folks in the hostel was at LEAST 45. The hostel also does not organize any group meetings or excursions, and the common areas are dark, grimy, empty, and unpleasant. While there is a kitchen, it is locked all the time, and you practically have to fight with the receptionists to get a fork. The hostel IS well located for exploring the city, but I’d take a few extra minutes of walking or a metro stop or two over staying in the massively touristy Ramblas anyways. Whatever you do, don’t spend your money on this hostel.

Le camere sono un po' piccole, ma tutto quello che ti serve è lì. Solo la coma è il riscaldamento della stanza sarebbe raffreddato, così diventava molto stufa per la notte. In tutto, tutto era buono.

solo tornato da un soggiorno di 3 notti qui prenotato attraverso Aer Lingus wow è stato super impressionato con questa gemma di un hotel appena arrivato sono stato accolto da Marc alla reception che era così amichevole e utile mi consiglia dove andare a prendere da mangiare e da bere e dare a me alcune carte questo tizio era una superstar. La macchina gratis per tè/caffe' oltre alla ricezione e le cariche di spazio per raffreddare solo una cosa negativa potevo dire era il wifi non era grande ma tutto il resto era 10/10 Def resterà qui ancora
