UUtente ospiteAn adorable hotel in York, I booked another night because we loved it and wanted to relax.
It’s just a short walk away from the main old town Centre, wasn’t a problem even in the rain.
Very clean and quaint decorations, love the 4-poster bed and the towel warmer. Also provides bathrobes, slippers and even a complimentary snack room. We could go grab some chips in the middle of the night if we wanted to. We didn’t eat, but we had some cocktails at the bar downstairs and coffee in the morning. Service is great.

UUtente ospiteAvevo un bel soggiorno a Hampton, da Hilton. Tutto bene e l'hotel è in una posizione tranquilla ideale proprio lontano dalla strada principale, vicino alla stazione e al centro di York. Solo il disappunto è stato la mancanza di snack e deserti serali. Abbiamo dovuto finire con un pacchetto di torte Jaffa!! Molto povero, neanche un ristorante serale .

UUtente ospiteIncredible hotel with the friendliest staff! The room was immaculate with a very comfy bed, service from all staff was faultless, and location is just a short walk from the city centre. I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in York, whether for business or pleasure!

UUtente ospite由於酒店身處哥爾夫球場之中，四周環境十分清幽、寧靜、舒適，景色亦十分美。只是它距離市區較遙遠，距離約克舊城區，有接近30分鐘車程，若不是自駕遊，就不太適合選這裏作為住宿地點，但若有自駕車，這是非常不錯的選擇，因為泊車是免費的。
酒店之中有兩家餐廳食物不錯，但價格非常高，且份量不多，是典型的fine dining，若然大家不想花費太多在食方面，在進入酒店前，最好在城區先進餐。

UUtente anonimoRoom was good, loved that the leisure centre was open till late so could get time at the pool and jacuzzi even after sight seeing. Breakfast was great, nice continental selection, and a picturesque view from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
A potential improvement could be the hot water control in the shower - ours was a Deluxe room with bath. The temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold - there was no in-between.

UUtente ospiteThe Galtres... A perfect place to stay in York. Location is great, central, surrounded by pubs, shops, bars, restaurant, a few steps from York Minster, couple of minutes walk to the Shambles, 13 minute walk from the train station.
Our room was spotless, checking in was easy, arrived 3 hours early, but room was ready so accessed that straight away. Little bit quirky, I guess no two rooms the same, old fireplace, massive mirrors and a Wimbledon wicker basket at decor.
Breakfast was amazing, gorgeous food, great selection and waiting staff always happy to help. Didn't eat there at other times, but the restaurant always looked busy inside and out.
Two minor faults, could have squoze a small dressing table/desk into the room, and be prepared for a small amount of noise in the morning with delivery vehicles around, not a big problem though.
I would definitely visit again, and recommend anyone visiting York to look at this place as somewhere really nice to stay.

IISARIAbbiamo trascorso un soggiorno confortevole, con una camera spaziosa e ottimi servizi. Tuttavia, durante il nostro soggiorno si è tenuta una festa nella hall che ha reso la zona piuttosto affollata e rumorosa. Nonostante ciò, nel complesso abbiamo comunque avuto una buona esperienza e lo consigliamo alle famiglie.

UUtente ospiteL'hotel si trova a fianco della torre Clifton e si trova a buon punto. La situazione di parcheggio è problematica - anche se si è consapevole che è arrivato prima servito, non c'è posto dove parcheggiare e chiedere, eccetto i tre spazi davanti all'hotel e se preso, Se non si dispone di un parcheggio sul posto, si può parcheggiare sulla strada in parcheggio pubblico, che è inconveniente come continuare a lavorare quando si rinnova. La pulizia è un po'di problema, pensavamo che ci fosse polvere sulle superfici, ma più probabilmente ci fossero fibre di lana dai puliziari, ma non si aspettava ancora che fossero scaricate come questo. La stanza era buona, ma pensava che il bagno fosse sul lato più piccolo per una stanza doppia deluxe. Il servizio in generale era buono - non poteva davvero colpire.

UUtente ospiteGreat reception staff. The room was advertised as a ‘cosy double’ but it was a huge bed, huge room and small bathroom.
The breakfast had an excellent selection which you could help yourself to.
The one downside was that the walls were quite thin so you could hear people in the next room or talking while passing along the corridor.
