Abbiamo soggiornato in diversi B&B in queste vacanze in Irlanda e devo dire che il B&B Bru Na Pairc è stato il migliore. A 5 minuti di auto dal centro, le camere sono molto piccole e il bagno minuscolo ma con tutto il necessario, inclusi gli accappatoi di ottima qualità. Non dimenticheremo le ottime e abbondanti colazioni: sempre disponibili a buffet yougurt e frutta fresca (mirtilli e fragole in abbondanza), succo di arance, tre tipi di pane fresco da tostare e buonissimi muffins fatti dalla signora. In più vasta scelta di piatti cucinati al momento: pan cakes, salmone e uova, colazione irlandese e altro. La gentilezza e simpatia della titolare sono un plus che rendono il soggiorno in questa struttura una esperienza indimenticabile. Grazie!!

Abbiamo concordato con la proprietà, per evitare di dividerci in due camere, di avere un letto aggiuntivo in una camera familiare, e lei ci ha gentilmente accontentato. Ci stavamo davvero comodi, il bagno era un po' piccolino ma dotato di ogni comfort compresi asciugamani da bagno e accappatoi per tutti. Ci ha permesso una colazione anticipata, avendoci anticipato il tour nella baia, ed inoltre un late check-out per permetterci una bella doccia calda dopo il tour. Una colazione da prenotare la sera prima tra un'ampia scelta, con l'aggiunta poi al momento di frutta fresca e un caffè espresso buonissimo. davvero gentile e disponibile. Struttura molto consigliata

The room and shower was smaller than the average stateroom on a cruise ship. No room for luggage. The Wi-Fi service was terrible and mostly non-existent. Shower was tiny. It was a long walk to the square in the center of Bantry. Over a mile, I think. Walking back from town is all uphill and there were no taxi's available at 10:00pm when we left our function at the Maritime Hotel. The walk home in the rain and dark was quite tedious. The value was terrible as it cost only about 20 euros less than the Maritime. The breakfast was delicious and the owner was very nice. I would not stay there again.

Don’t go! I regret staying there and will never return. I have never before left accommodation I payed for and burst into tears because of how I was treated. Peggy May be “ under a lot of pressure” as she claimed and she did apologise for her “bedside manner” but it was clear to me that was just because she was worried about reviews. I have never left a negative review before but it’s not okay to abuse and humiliate people like she did. It began over breakfast when she cooked bacon in my meal and became angry that I don’t eat it (even though I’d told her beforehand) . Then it was alternating put-downs and attempts to placate me until I left ( 2 hours before I’d intended to go). She snapped at several other people while I was there. You don’t need this. Stay somewhere friendly.

What a find! Peggie and her dog Twinkle made our stay special. Peggie is a very busy lady helping either young people or elderly neighbours to get out and about, but it doesn't stop her running a great B&B. Breakfast was lovely, the bacon was very tasty. Fresh fruit and yoghurt some days and as a special treat strawberries with the yoghurt. She even tried to tell us she'd picked them at 6.50 that morning! As she's telling us we could see the twinkle in her eyes!! The beds very comfy. I had the best night sleep the first night we were there. Bliss. Good range of breakfasts available and the tastiest of tea. Thank you Peggie and Twinkle
