Hotel a Bangkok

We have been staying at Anantara Riverside Bangkok for over 20 years. The environment is excellent, as well as the service, the buffet breakfast, the reception, the shuttle boat service and the room. Everything was perfect and good for family travellers. As I travelled to Bangkok to celebrate my mother's 74th Chinese Birthday, the hotel offer us a small but tasty and good looking birthday cake. Moreover, as we are super fans of this hotel since year 2003, the hotel grand us free access to Kasara Lounge which made this journey even more unforgettable. If we travel to Bangkok, we will definitely stay again at Anantara Riverside Bangkok. I would like to thank Mr. Michael Robinson, General Manager and Ms Supaporn Piromklad, Director of Rooms, Ms NJ, Ms Gift, Mr. Diamond and all the staff for all the kind attention and excellent service rendered during our stay. Anantara Riverside Bangkok made us feel like staying home and we had enjoyed another pleasant stay.

La camera, il letto e il bagno sono molto spaziosi. Il cubico separato per la doccia, in modo che il bagno non si bagni ovunque. Distanza passeggiabile alla zona Siam/Pratunam e anche molto vicino alla stazione BTS se preferisce prendere il treno. Il bar di corsa vicino serve delizioso cibo occidentale/thai.L'hotel è sotto il gruppo Accor e il loro servizio non è stato deluso, tutti i membri del personale erano molto gentili, aiutanti e amichevoli. L'unica cosa che l'hotel può notare e potenzialmente aggiornare è la pompa per la doccia gel/shampoo e i secchi per capelli. Ma sarebbe bello se l'hotel potesse sostituire con nuovi. In generale, ancora molto soddisfatto e si fermerà sicuramente di nuovo se il prezzo è ragionevole/a vendita.

L'hotel è molto ben situato nella vecchia città che si trova a pochi passi dalla strada kaosan con la sua vita e anche con ristoranti, negozi a porta. Il personale è amichevole, la piscina è fantastica con splendide viste. Anche se il ristorante hotel chiude bar aperto alla piscina. Le camere sono molto pulite e contrariamente ad altre recensioni c'è un cieco che si può tracciare per chiudere il bagno dalla camera da letto

We, a family of three, stayed three nights here and are very impressed by the convenient location, cozy environment and excellent services provided by friendly and professional staff. The pool, the gym and the breakfast are all great which give you a resort-feel right in the centre of the city. The spa, though comes at a hefty price tag, is so relaxing that you’ll find every inch of your muscle being properly massaged. All in all, the stay in this hotel worths every penny you spent.

Growing up in Hong Kong, I would always like to stay in Peninsula Hotel, which was where the hotel was first founded and built, whereas Peninsula Bangkok did not disappoint at all. I was greeted with staffs with big smiles on their face and was led to the check in counter. The lady who checked us in even brought us to the room and explained everything (Sorry I forgot your name :( ) . The room was extremely clean and also comes with a balcony with good view. The shuttle boat was definitely a stand out point as it conveniently brings you to ICONSIAM and Sathron Pier. Thé gentlemen in the concierge was very helpful too answering all questions that I had and even suggested places and restaurants to go. The swimming pool was also one of the things that I was impressed with, it was a good experience swimming in there, yet the pool was a bit filthy and unclean, would hope that the hotel improves in this aspect. Checked out the day after and was escorted out by staff to the taxi. Overall, me and my girlfriend had an extremely good experience in The Peninsula Bangkok, would definitely come back soon!

Hotel bello! camere di vista deluxe del fiume eccezionali, con vista a distanza del fiume, asciugacapelli, servizio di sdoganamento. Il personale si è spostato sopra e oltre per assicurarsi che potessimo sederci al fiume per cena, anche se l'hotel aveva chiuso la zona per una funzione di matrimonio, che era molto apprezzato, perché sarebbe stato deluso di aver mancato questa funzione. La barca di shuttle all'Icon Siam ogni ora, grande colazione, grande palestra e sala giochi.

Hotel bellissimo, soggiornato qui due notti. I plus dell'hotel sono i seguenti: - bellissimo, territorio verde, uccelli cantanti, ghiacci, cappucci volanti. Vivere nel bungalow. - vicino all'aeroporto, solo 15 minuti con taxi. - È un grande vantaggio per noi. C'è una piscina. C'è gamma nella piscina e nel caffè. C'è un caffè e un massaggio all'hotel. C'è un grande utlet in 15 minuti. Ma ci sono anche conseguenze: C'è un aereo rumoroso, - con il cane può essere solo nel bungalo, il supplemento per il giorno non è piccolo - 500 batt. - La piscina non è bello e non molto pulito, la cloro non puzza, sulle pareti della precipitazione. - Il caffè è molto costoso. - Le negozi sono a piedi, ma ci vogliono 10 minuti per andare al sole e correre sull'autostrada.

Excellent~! except 4 things below. Staffs are SUPER kind. 1. Luggage keeping for early check in I checked out from Four seasons and continuously checked in to Capella. So I asked my luggage from Four seasons to Capella. But I was very disappointed when I first saw that my luggage are stored outside of Capella lobby. My luggage was outside of the building and the weather was more than 35 degrees at that time. My luggage should be cooked. If I knew that you guys will store my luggage outside of the building, I wouldn't ask that kind of request. I would carry them for myself and ask put my luggage inside of the storage before check-in. If you and Four seasons decided to care for luggage service for customers who use both hotel, you need to store customers' luggage inside the building which is cool and safe. 2. Electric blind. Because of malfunctioning of the blind in the bathroom. I had to call for the staff at night. But there were dust and dirt at one of engineering staff's clothes. I understand that he could easily have dirt on his clothes considering that he is an engineer but anyway he brought dust in my room. Moreover, it took some time to fix the electronic blind and it caused lots of dust while fixing and they had to step up my washstand so that I requested to clean. But when the staff came to clean the bathroom, he doesn't look so professional. First, he brought 3 hand mops in his hand but hand mops look dirty(at least not clean, old, too much used, stitches loosen) and his cleaning process doesn't look so professional too. I guess he might not be professional cleaning staff, rather than night watch. I explained him that due to fixing the blind, there were lots of dust there, and he said ”Yes” but he just wiped out washstand and wash bowl. But still lots of dust remains on the water tap which shines so that easily looking for dust. 3. Cin Cin hour Cin Cin hour itself was good. But the qualify of finger food was bad considering expectation of Capella. It seemed that the finger food came from leftover of the morning buffet. The finger food was dried and not fresh. Also, in my experience of both four seasons(BKK Social Club) and Stella, overall interior is better in BKK Social Club. 4. Boat Time Table From 7 pm, Boat arrives and leaves at Pier 1 from ICONSIAM(used to be Pier 3 during daylight). But there was no explanation not only in the time table but also from the staff. So, I missed the boat and had to spend another hour.

Il 31 marzo ci siamo fermati qui per una notte a causa dell'avvicinanza dell'hotel all'aeroporto. Abbiamo pagato per una notte camera superiore che includeva colazione e trasferimento all'aeroporto. Il trasferimento dell'aeroporto è stato bello e pulito e il conducente è stato amichevole. La stanza era pulita e temperata, esclusa la cassetta rotta. La stanza aveva alcuni sockets che non funzionavano. La parte peggiore dell'hotel era il ristorante. Una volta arrivati abbiamo deciso di cenare che era particolarmente buono, escluso alcuni lavoratori che camminavano in pigiama (si presume che avessero lasciato la sera). Una volta svegliati, andammo verso il ristorante per fare colazione, ma si chiedeva con cortesia che il ristorante non fosse aperto. Abbiamo fatto una visita e ci hanno chiesto se potessimo prendere colazione, e ci hanno dato una scatola con un panino freddo e una scatola di succo d'arancia, per tenere presente che il prezzo per il colazione era di circa 5 sterline. Ho chiesto se potessimo avere i soldi per il colazione rimborsati, perché non abbiamo toccato il cibo e non ne abbiamo bevuto e ho pensato che fosse costoso per il cibo ricevuto. Il ricevitore mi ha insistito che non avremmo ricevuto alcuna restituzione e che invece avremmo ricevuto un colazione di stile americano (Ecco un quadro del colazione americano che abbiamo ricevuto). Capisco che gli hotel non siano in grado di fornire un colazione a buffet a causa del virus in corso, ma ci aspettiamo di poter sederci nel ristorante e avere un buon colazione piuttosto che un servizio come il «mangiare in prigione».

We had the pleasure of staying at The Siam for 4 nights in early May 2022. Quarantine-free travel had just lifted so we were lucky to have almost the entire hotel to ourselves for a few days.. Our stay was amazing. The service was impeccable, our private butler (Tong) helped us out with all of our bookings and arrangements and was a great source of recommendations on top of the Bangkok guide provided by the hotel which was very helpful as well. We met the general manager, Nick, who was very accommodating and regularly checked in to make sure our stay was 100%. The hotel room we had was spacious and well decorated with a comfy kingsize bed. The interior of the hotel is like a combination of a palace meets museum, with antique art from around the world in every room and hallway. We found the library was a great place to do some quiet work (unfortunately that was required), and we made use of the private hotel boat to get anywhere on the river, such a fun (and quick!) way to get around Bangkok and avoid the sometimes busy traffic. The restaurant was also great - what better way to start the day than having breakfast overlooking the river. Would also recommend the Spa downstairs, a very relaxing way to recover from busy Bangkok, as well as making use of the “screening room” which is a small private cinema you can book whilst ordering from the room-service menu. We will certainly stay here again on our next trip to Bangkok, absolutely worth it and 10/10 recommended.
