The hotel location is quite far from the BTS station, and there are no free shuttle bus or tuktuk to go to the bts, so you have to take a grab yourself. But the room is nice, clean, except the corridor on the way to the room quite smelly. Breakfast with not many options, but was ok.

Great deal for the price we paid without breakfast. Room was cosy and aircon was strong especially with the heat in BKK. Bed and pillow are comfortable. However we were just a floor below the rooftop bar and we could hear the bass quite audible. Key card was not working well to master on the lights and we had to find the way to the switches in the dark which happened to be next to the bed, away from the main door. Receptionist at check in and out were especially polite and friendly but we can’t say the same for the security guard at the car park. Car park lots are small and limited. Nevertheless we love the location for its proximity to many restaurants in the vicinity. Will still consider to stay here at our next visit.

Lot of ants in room, changed to another one, still find ants, they climb up your bed. Other service are good, apart from ants.

Stayed here for a grand total of 12 days for the Songkran celebrations. I usually stay on Sukhumvit 33 but decided to stay here to try a new place and also because it was nearer to where my friend stayed. First thing, the bedroom was a little smaller than expected, but that was mostly because the bathroom was as big as the bedroom. The bathtub was huge and deep, which could probably fit 2. Service was very good all around, from the housekeeper to the reception to the 3 staff at breakfast, namely Jinny (especially, whom has made conversation with me plenty), Fern and Taddao. The breakfast was pretty decent, my favorite was definitely the eggs-your-way and congee when I feel too fat from eating too much after a long tourist’s day in Bangkok. There is a small pool and a small gym room too. Not enough really, to do too much, but possibly enough to get a quick workout in just to burn some calories. Their in-house rooftop bar (Cul de Sac) has pretty bang for buck food. It’s not exactly cheap, but the serving and portions were huge. As a fan of the ambience and cocktails at Abandoned Mansion (but not really the service there), I was not disappointed by the decor and cocktails here. The service at Cul de Sac was also great, in-line with the rest of the hotel staff. Although no convenience stores nearby, there is Top’s Food Hall and Fuji Supermarket just nearby, and there’s a bunch of eating options nearby ranging from street food vendors to more high end restaurants. All in all, a great stay at the end of a busy day of either water splashing or morlam listening.

The Quartier Hotel Sukhamvit 39 was a really good boutique style hotel however rising costs and some penny pinching cost cutting has detracted from its once good reputation. The hotel used to provide a free shuttle to the Emquaurtier shopping mall and the BTS station, but cost cutting saw that disappear, and that means you have a very long walk to anywhere which makes the hotel less attractive and certainly inconvenient to get to and from. The rooms are tastefully designed with a comfortable bed and proper black out curtains. There is a small desk and chair, and another chair which is badly worn and needs replacin,  and there's a side table and a floor to ceiling mirror. The Wi-Fi is terrible and drops out for very long periods of time and as their TV operates on an internet service that means the TV doesn't work for hours at a time There is a large shower with a rainfall shower head and a hand held shower rose. The water pressure is reasonable but the temperature fluctuates all the time They  provide some very cheap flimsy slippers, and they do not provide face washers, or bath robes The rooms are nice and comfortable and the decore is pleasant and well-thought-out. The hotel is located within a 150 metres walk from a supermarket and about 500 meters from a 7-Eleven. The Phrom Phong BTS station is about 1km away but Is within walking distance and prorides the ability to travel throughout Bangkok using the BTS sky train. I think this was a very pleasant hotel, however removing the shuttle and standards dropping on housekeeping have considerably affected the reputation of the hotel. With the shuttle being removed it is quite inconvenient and due to very heavy traffic it is costly to use cabs to get anywere

Nice quiet neighborhood. Loved the decoration of the whole establishment. They have retro design pool side bar in the rooftop which enjoyed a lot.

This is a money worthy hotel with good location in the center of Bangkok. However the traffic in this area, Thong Lo is suck and always jam. Staff is helper esp the 2 ladies serve during breakfast! The hotel breakfast is yummy and with a lot of choices.

Rooms are small, but everything else is perfect!

Hotel felt slightly dated with a stale smell. The first two rooms I was given had technical issues - lights would not turn on. Finally the third room worked. However one of the nights at 6am there was a power trip, aircon turned off and wouldn’t come back on. Had to call the technician in to fix it, but sleep was already disrupted. I enjoyed the Pilates studio located within the hotel.

Chic and comfortable hotel. Clean and well maintained. Good bar on the rooftop. Staff are nice and good service
