I've stayed 15 days in this hotel and it doesnt feel like a five star hotel, by far, in fact I changed hotel for my last 12 days in Bangalore. Where to start... Sometimes you go down to the only restaurant of the hotel, for breakfast, lunch or dinner which is buffet type, and after you seat down on a table with your food on the plate a waitres will come and ask you to stand up and seat elsewhere because the table you selected is "reserveded" despite not having any indication on it, and you will leave the restaurant with that same table still empty. It can also hapen that the whole restaurant is "reserved" and I was told I could only seat in one table shared among other hotel guests despite having 90% of the tables empty, but guess what, they were also "reserved", so I had to get my plate and walk up to my room as I didnt wanted to be seated shoulder with shoulder with a stranger. It blows my mind how in supposedly 5 star hotel guests have no preference on the only restaurant room of the hotel, it really is shocking. So basically you only have right to be in your own room or lobby, because other areas such as the roof top pool area might also be reserved for a private event. Regarding the food it is very spicy in general, but you will strugle to ask for anything because the staff's english is negible. Regarding the rooms, it's nice that the minibar is complimentary, and the matress was allright, but more often that not, after they do the cleaning, they wont give you back all the towels, some times only one, some times two, sometimes three, sometimes not even a floor on hand towell.... You will also run out of toilet paper and surprise it wont be replenish unless you call reception and request for it, other wise you'll have to clean your self with your hand and water.... What to say about laundry, collected one day and returned three days later after you ask for it wondering what had happened to your stuff. Staff in general is not very friendly either and their english is marginal, with a few exceptions such as Manasa from the restaurant, Sanjana and the Security staff who guard the hotel entrance who are very welcoming and really stand out, but Manasa was the best by far, always with a smile. Regarding the pool in the roof, the area is not very well looked after, only two chairs to sit at, no sun shade and not a pleasent place to be at, they basically use it for private events in the evening. In a nutshell, this hotel is far from an actual five star hotel, I wish I hadnt stayed so long and had changed hotel earlier. Obviusly after my experience I DONT recomend it and I would not go back.
