Scegli l'hotel per la sua vicinanza a JHU. In primo luogo, il buono: il personale è stato uniformemente utile e orientato al cliente, il personale del desk front welcome e personal. La stanza era generalmente pulita e il personale di manutenzione voleva fare il buon lavoro. Il personale responsabile è venuto a riparare un termostat non funzionante (batteria necessaria) e ha notato che avevamo bloccato la casella TV e non poteva cambiare canali. Buona gente in tutto. Il ristorante era aperto, ma non poteva essere detto. Era in un angolo del lobby con qualche pendola sul bar. Non c'era caffè o tè disponibile in nessun posto dell'hotel, salvo la macchina nella stanza di uno - nessun zucchero, nessuna crema - niente. Doveva andare a One World Cafe circa mezzo isolato di distanza per ottenere il caffè. I hotel che pagano la metà del prezzo della camera hanno di solito caffè/tea, ecc. nel lobby. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. Questa è la prima volta che vengo in questo hotel, mi sono sentito molto ben accolto, il personale era super gentile e professionale, pulito. Mi ha fatto sentire a mio agio, la camera era fantastica, il bagno era fantastico, non volevo lasciare ciò che amavo era che il mio nome era sulla TV, tornerò sicuramente presto.

Appartiene all'appartamento a stile hotel, spazio spazio grande e confortevole, rapporto costo/prezzo alto, molto buono.

È stato molto carino. La vista dell'acqua dalla nostra camera era magnifica. La camera era di grandi dimensioni ed era molto pulita. L'unica cosa che vorrei è che il garage fosse un po' più vicino, ma offrono il servizio di parcheggio e riconsegna auto. Quindi, tutto sommato, ho avuto un'ottima esperienza. O e inoltre mi hanno permesso di fare il check-in in anticipo, il che è stato un salvavita.

Built at the end of the 19th century and recently renovated- this beautiful mansion melts perfectly into the historic and prestigious Mount Vernon district- with turrets rising above the trees. Behind the ivy-clad walls and high shining windows this charming boutique hotel is structured around a magnificent staircase- covered by the original skylights- which leads to the guest rooms. The hotel staff is exceptionally kind from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The location is a few blocks from the harbor and located next to Lexington Market. The breakfast was good with a waffle machine, eggs, sausage, yummy oatmeal with a wide variety of add-inns. Blueberry compote and candied pecans were my favorites. The room is spacious and clean with comfy beds and pillows. Overall I definitely would recommend. It's was a great price for the service. Newly renovated!
