Premier Inn Balsall Common (Near NEC)

Lovely brach of premier inn. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very kind gesture of sweets, chocolate & a note on our bed. Room was super clean, staff very helpful and overall a pleasant visit. Just a note- If you book to have breakfast next door be patient as we waited roughly 40mins for our food to be cooked! However, you can have drinks and continental whilst you wait.

Came with my family The manager on reception was rude and not helpful at all. He said he had made us table bookings but didn’t so we had to wait for food baring in mind we had children. The hotel was dirty and not a nice place to stay. The manager needs a talking too.

Room was spotless and bathroom fully functional and clean. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room did get very warm overnight but a fan had been provided to help with this. We ate at the Beefeater all meals were lovely and the staff were very attentive . Would definitely stay here again!!

Everything was great. My room was fantastically clean with no mess anywhere to see. The staff where very friendly and helpful and welcoming.

I was booked into the hotel with a larger group whilst attending the NEC. It was the closest that Premier Inn could offer about 6.5 miles away. We booked the package which included our meals and all was fine on Friday night. Saturday was a different story. When we arrived for dinner the hotel had passed over the vouchers to the adjoining Beefeater but not the booking and so there was no table for us. We were a group of 10 so not easy to just squeeze in. The end result was we ate late thanks mainly to the restaurant GM who moved heaven and earth to get us fed albeit in the bar, the restaurant was crammed all night. Our gratitude is levelled at Lia who did a magnificent job for us. Thank you Lia.

Alison the receptionist was amazing from start to finish. Nothing was to much trouble. Room was clean, comfortable and early check in really helped with our plans. Stayed here a few times in the past and always a comfortable stay. Thanks again.

nice and clean, staff great, room as it should be and decent value for money. We had a minor issue with noise from a tumble dryer but it stopped after a while. Beefeater next door was also good, staff very friendly and helpful and service good too.

A nice hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. The only problem was I booked a twin room thinking I was getting 2 single beds but got a large bed and a sofa bed. Not ideal as it was under a draughty window. Not a great WiFi signal .

Arrived to a very helpful person on the reception chatty polite and helpful Toni. Room was clean quiet and comfortable Breakfasts great and evening meal very good can recommend steak. Only complaint on my 3rd day I was sat in a very un private area next to a very dirty hoover in the restaurant I was offered a table on arrival but was in the middle of the restaurant and being on my own I wanted to sit a bit more privately so asked to be moved, got put next to the waiting station with a dirty hoover very off putting.
