Приходил хозяин гостиницы, долго извинялся обещал все исправить и пересилить в другое бунгало. Не переселил. В целом отличный отель за свои деньги. Но персонал очень ленивый. Если что-то нужно типа уборки или бесплатной воды, приходится ходить, просить Ресторан при отеле дороже чем в округе, плюс налог и сервис сбор..

My husband and I were in Maua for our short trip to Nusa Penida during our 2-week honeymoon in Bali, and we can both agree without hesitation that Maua was absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed at, not just in this trip but ever, in terms of overall experience. Upon arrival, we were immediately stunned by how beautiful view from the hotel reception area was when we walked down the stairs from the parking lot. We started to appreciate the aesthetics of the hotel even more when the manager, Ka Ka told us about the difficulties of building this hotel from scratch, especially transporting the construction materials all the way from Bali to Nusa Penida through the small and bumpy roads on the island. And as you stay there longer and observe more, you can really tell that a lot of time, effort and thoughts have been put into the architecture, interior design and environment of the whole place. We must say, however, that all has been paid off because the execution was nothing less than perfect. Maua consists of a number of private villas which were built on a mountain slope. We stayed at Villa No. 323 at the most bottom with a private infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous Gamat Bay with a sunset view. Buggies would be arranged for sending us down and picking us up upon a quick phone call, even at 5 a.m. in the morning one day when we wanted to watch the sunrise. The breakfast was the most generous and sumptuous we had in Bali and the presentation and taste was on point. The free flow pastries were a nice touch, and the French toast was the best I have ever had. We also tried their restaurant for dinner on one night and were very satisfied with their Western options. Needless to say, and I am sure all the guests would agree, the hotel staff members were what made Maua extra special - you can just feel that everyone working there were genuinely enjoying their work and happy about their life there, and they care about the well-being of the guests from the bottom of their hearts and it really shows. To the whole Maua crew, especially our dear friends, Dinda, Ayu, and Kaka, we would like to give a big thank you to you all for making our stay so memorable and flawless. Thank you for showering us with surprised snacks, late night cakes, welcome and goodbye drinks (and even giving us the recipe for it without us asking) and your warming smiles. The lovely conversations we had and the laughter we shared will forever stay in our hearts. We are missing our stay at Maua so much after checking out and would definitely visit Nusa Penida again just so we can stay with Maua.

Il posto superava le mie aspettative! Era piacevolmente sorpreso di scoprire che c'era una piscina all'esterno della nostra stanza. Il servizio era impeccabile, il personale era così amichevole. Avrei consigliato questo posto a chiunque.

Mi sento molto bene, proprio al contrario del negozio di immersione, la immersione ha finito di riposare subito, è troppo conveniente, la stanza è pulita e pulita, cioè le strutture non sono buone. Had very pleasant stay here. The room was very big, acc worked very well and quietly. Bed very comfortable. Beautiful garden and pool. Location is great too, easy to reach every part of the island. Stuff friendly and helpful. Only downside is the food, but if you like fried rice and noodles you’ll be fine. Anyway very close to resort there is nice place to eat. Would definitely recommend and stay there once again. Very good value for the money. Oh and there is very well equipped gym!

Truly enjoyed our stay at The Angkal. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The villa is sweet and cozy overlooking the beautiful sea and a pool. The food was delicious especially the local food and we love relaxing at the cafe. The location is at the east side of the island which was quieter from the busy West. If you would like to explore both west and east side of the island, this resort is perfect as it is located in between. One cons though there is no gate surrounding the villa and the stray dogs could come at night. Just be sure not to leave any food outside at night. All and all great value for money and would definitely come back again.

L'hotel è eccellente, le colazioni sono deliziose, cosa rara in Asia. Il ristorante dell'hotel è il posto migliore dove mangiare sull'isola. Un punto a favore in più è sicuramente lo staff, che merita 5 stelle. Gli spazi esterni dell'hotel sono bellissimi e ben tenuti. Le piscine sono pulite e sempre gratuite. Sembra che sia stato investito molto lavoro e denaro. Camere: tutto è ben studiato e bello, camere ampie con un letto comodo, una buona doccia, ecc. Ma l'umidità non fece altro che rovinare l'impressione generale. Siamo entrati in una stanza e abbiamo visto della muffa sul soffitto. Il personale ha risposto rapidamente, offrendo una stanza più costosa (una villa separata) e, cosa più importante, una stanza asciutta. Ma alla fine abbiamo scelto lo stesso tipo di camera, la camera ci è piaciuta molto, ma l'umidità si sentiva ancora, non so se è un problema di quest'isola o se sono state violate le norme di costruzione, ma ha rovinato l'impressione perché l'hotel, da quanto ho capito, è completamente nuovo, non ha nemmeno sei mesi ed è stato inaspettato.

Adiwana holds a special place in our hearts, and returning here for our second stay, two years after our honeymoon, felt like coming home. Our first visit left us with such wonderful memories, and I’m happy to say that the experience this time was just as fantastic, if not better. The service was, as always, impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. A couple of senior staff even remembered us from our previous stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. It really feels like the team here takes pride in making every guest’s experience personal and memorable. The food at Adiwana deserves its own mention. The quality has been consistently excellent since our first visit. Some of the standout dishes for us were the French onion soup, the pork ribs, and the tuna poke bowl– all beautifully prepared and reasonably priced. Dining here is such a treat, and the care put into every dish really shines through. We were lucky enough to spend New Year’s Eve at Adiwana, and it was such a fun and festive celebration. The staff created a fantastic atmosphere with music, dancing alongside guests, and a lively countdown, all with fireworks lighting up the night sky. What amazed us even more was seeing the team back at work the next morning, still as professional and cheerful as ever, despite the late night. One thing to note is that the property has quite a few steps, especially if you’re staying in the lower rooms. For guests with mobility issues, this could be a bit challenging, but the hotel staff are always on hand to help with luggage and make things easier. It’s just something to keep in mind when booking. All in all, Adiwana remains one of our favorite places to stay. The genuine hospitality, delicious food, and memorable experiences make it a place we’ll continue to recommend to friends. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Отличный уютный отель. Персонал достаточно быстро решал все вопросы. Отличная ванная с тропическим душем. Вкусные завтраки. Теплый и большой бассейн с видом прямо на море, потому что отель находится прям на 1ой береговой. Отель закрывается в 9 вечера, и становится очень тихо и спокойно. Из минусов было только грязная постель при заселении, но нам оперативно заменили номер. В целом очень даже хороший отель. Тихо и спокойно.
