La lobby è bella, molto spaziosa e con molti posti a sedere durante l'attesa del check-in. Ma l'orario del check-in è dopo le 15:00, che è un po' tardi rispetto ai nostri hotel alle 14:00. Abbiamo prenotato il giorno stesso quindi era un po' all'ultimo minuto. Abbiamo prenotato la camera standard al piano inferiore. Quando siamo entrati nella stanza era molto puzzolente, sembrava umido e ammuffito. Dato che era un piano seminterrato, che è come un seminterrato, quindi non ci sono finestre e inoltre non ci sono ventilatori nel bagno, la ventilazione non è buona per quel tipo di stanza. Se soggiorni più di 1 notte, è meglio prenotare la camera al piano superiore che dispone di finestre o balcone. C'è usura, il che va bene, ma hanno bisogno di una pulizia profonda regolarmente per mantenere la stanza a standard elevati per corrispondere alla valutazione a 5 stelle. Puoi vedere i segni di sporco sulle piastrelle e la polvere attorno alle aree del tavolo TV. Non sono sicuro che passino l'aspirapolvere regolarmente. La trapunta e il lenzuolo del letto sono umidi, non sono sicuro se sia a causa della scarsa ventilazione o non li abbiano asciugati completamente nell'asciugatrice. Il cattivo odore a cui probabilmente possono aggiungere qualche diffusore o spray per ambienti per renderlo gradevole. C'è sicuramente spazio per migliorare la pulizia. La colazione è buona, molte scelte ma bisogna aspettare un po' per sedersi. C'è un bus navetta gratuito per la collezione di Bali, il che è carino. I servizi sono belli, ci sono beach club, piscine e un sacco di attività per bambini. Sarà più adatto alle famiglie per le vacanze. La posizione è ok a Nida dua, nessun ingorgo in direzione dell'aeroporto il 31 dicembre, più economico chiamare un taxi Bluebird per viaggiare.

L'orario di check-in alle 15:00 è standard in tutti gli altri hotel di Nusa Dua e tieni inoltre presente che abbiamo un orario di check-out prolungato alle 12:00 (invece delle 11:00 come in altri hotel). Se gli ospiti arrivano prima, possono anche usufruire del ristorante del beach club e della piscina a sfioro. Per quanto riguarda la tipologia di camera, forniamo una descrizione molto accurata della camera più economica/entry level chiamata esattamente "Lower Ground - No View". Nelle foto di questa camera fornite alla maggior parte delle agenzie online, inseriamo un'ulteriore clausola di esclusione della responsabilità per garantire agli ospiti di comprendere che questa tipologia di camera si trova nel seminterrato e non dispone di luce naturale. Tuttavia, disponiamo di altre 6 tipologie di camere (migliori) e incoraggiamo tutti i nostri ospiti a prendere in considerazione un upgrade solo per un piccolo importo. Abbiamo la ventilazione nel cortile interno e nel bagno, ma dicembre è il mese con la massima umidità a Bali poiché è la stagione delle piogge e questo può influenzare la percezione dei nostri ospiti. La pulizia non deve essere scusata, la camera deve essere perfettamente pulita in ogni sua parte e rivedremo quanto accaduto nel caso specifico della vostra camera: dobbiamo concordare con voi che uno standard a 5 stelle deve avere un livello di pulizia a 5 stelle. Tuttavia i segni sul pavimento non sono sporco ma macchie chimiche che purtroppo non possono essere rimosse ma stiamo valutando di sostituire completamente le piastrelle di marmo. Nel nostro resort sono disponibili alcuni diffusori, quindi se avete espresso la vostra preoccupazione potremmo averne installato uno nella vostra camera. Almeno abbiamo ricevuto la tua recensione molto positiva sulla nostra colazione, sul nostro bus navetta, sul nostro beach club, sulle piscine e su tutte le attività per famiglie e bambini. Come hai menzionato, siamo in una posizione dove il traffico può essere evitato (a differenza di altre zone di Bali) ed è economico spostarsi con i taxi. Nel complesso, ti ringraziamo per la tua recensione e il tuo consiglio in poche parole: resort fantastico ma meglio prenotare una categoria di camera superiore. Per quanto riguarda la pulizia, dovremmo esaminare il motivo per cui la tua camera non era perfetta come dovrebbe. Ti auguro il meglio.

Nice and big hotel, but the service can be improved. On both nights I needed to request for americano to be served on to my table for more than one time, the first request seemed to be forgotten.

Great hotel :) Our apartament was so big and clean we really loved it :) food it’s very good aswell but not huge menu . Only one thing what hotel should think about it’s giving us bracelet from hotel and staff should keep Eye on guests because people from other hotel came to our swimming pool !! Definitely 5 stars hotel

In August 2023, we rested in a villa at the Sakala Resort hotel, to say that the hotel is simply beyond praise, to say nothing EVERYTHING is at the highest level, starting from the service and staff, ending with food and accommodation 🫶 I especially advise you to stay at the villa 👏 Two floors of comfort, luxury and privacy, while the feeling that you are not in a hotel, but in a cozy place, which provides EVERYTHING from a refrigerator for wine and Balinese-style decoration, ending with luxurious conditions for sleeping and relaxing, a separate love is a private pool and a garden ALL our wishes were fulfilled in a matter of minutes, and the cleaning of the room was like magic , fast and perfect. I sincerely recommend this hotel to EVERYONE We will definitely come back more ❤️

Very bad experience in this hotel and we don’t recommend it. Reasons are as following: 1.Refuse to provide reasonable service, everything is non-refundable. We booked three days which the last two days includes breakfast and we wanted to switch the last day’s breakfast to the first day. The person in the front desk told she’ll communicate it with the operator but we were told it was not okay after we checked in. The operator refused to communicate with us even we proposed whether we can cancel the booking and re-book it or refunded the breakfast we don’t need on the third day. The operator just claimed that none of these ways is okay and nothing is refundable because it is the hotel’s policy. We don’t understand why the hotel found so many excuses instead of spending the time helping us. It was just a little switch and we informed the front desk in advance and causing no loss to the hotel and we’ve paid for it. What’s more, there is no policy in any country that says the customers cannot get refund if they do not consume the product or service. 2. Bad environment We checked-in as a couple, and it is obviously that a King or Queen bed is needed. We entered the room and found the hotel had assigned a room with two twin beds for us and it took half day for us to wait until the bed had been changed. The whole day just had been wasted because of the hotel’s bad service. The stuff in the room were not clean because my body began to itch after living in it. Toothbrushes are the worse I’ve ever seen since the handles are very thin and fragile. I cannot brush my teeth with it. And there was also mold in the corner of the room. Swimming pool was not allowed to enter after six p.m. which is too early because we usually go out and come back to hotel late, who has time to swim before six? The private beach cannot be entered either because it was put into another commercial use. 3. Horrible taxi calling service (illegal cooperation with the taxi drivers or companies) We asked the hotel to call legal taxi for us and when we got on the car, we found that the taix driver refused to use the taxi meter and asked us 300k total to get to the airport. The driver left us in the street at 4 a.m. after hearing we do not bring so much cash with us. Then we called a Gojet, and it only cost normal 100k to the airport. This hotel is large and looks normal for the first sight. However, big hotels bully customers the most. The whole living experience is disappointed and awful. We’ll never never never choose this hotel again. And hope the hotel just admit the bad service and don’t find any excuse. We tried to communicate with it for long long time and there is no misunderstanding from the whole process. The hotel is just what it’s service and attitudes show.

Indeed, if you benefit from the discounted price of a strictly non-refundable booking....then it would not be fair if you cancel it for free or you expect a refund....So why other guests would pay more for a "flexible" cancellation policy if we were going to refund any what? Is not really about the country or the hotel policies (which are exactly the same everywhere actually), but the policies of the platform where you made the booking which were clearly indicated at the time you made the reservation. In addition, there is actually a cost for the hotel when there is a cancellation of breakfast since we buy our items fresh every day in accordance with the occupancy...so if someone does not come, food is wasted and is not fair that the hotel absorbs the cost of it.2. When you made the booking, please pay attention that the bed configuration is not guaranteed but subject to availability. When you checked-in, there was no availability of the room type you chose with King Bed, so actually the hotel had a very good gesture to provide you with a change of room in the afternoon after the room was checked out from the previous guest. And our Rooms are always perfectly clean and we score really high in this aspect, so we are surprised by your allegation. We would say that 99% of our guests bring a toothbrush when traveling overseas, and if you forgot that at home we provide a decent 1-time use toothbrush for emergencies but the logic is that you can get a better one in the shop adjacent to the hotels. If there is any issue with mould in any part of the hotel, please report it so our engineerings can fix it immediately...is actually not so outrageous that in a resort of 261 rooms and 30,000m2, there is a small corner in a room that has an issue that becomes undetected before. The swimming pool closes at 7pm (not 6pm) because is already dark and we need to do cleanliness and chemicals for maintenance so it can be open back again at 7am perfectly clean. Vast majority of our guests actually use the pools in the meantime and have plenty of time to enjoy at our resort, so they don't go in a hurry to a tour all day. We are not sure we understand your comment about our private beach, but our area is known for watersport activities and we also have a second beach nearby for swimming. 3. The hotel has its own transportation service to the airport which was offered to you so we called the standard "legal" taxi in Bali from the company Blue Bird. The hotel is not responsible for the services provided for 3rd parties (especially when we have our own)...but let me tell you that the 300k price offered is actually perfectly reasonable to go to the airport and the same that would cost you with a meter...So you were not cheated. We also cannot comment on your responsibility to enter into a business (a taxi) where you didn't have the money to pay. Our service is excellent. so in this response, there is no need to give any excuses but just explain the facts. We are really sorry that your particular experience was not as good as the majority of our guests.

Location not good. The pools close too early and bar service in the pool closes on their own time, when they decide to stop working. They also say there is a private beach but you can't swim at it. Telephone service for in room dining is also horrible, you can never connect to the restaurant because they don't answer the phone. Food takes very long to arrive. Not the best experience here. overall, it is a waste of time..

Location is very solid, as we are at only 25 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from all the amenities Nusa Dua offers. In addition, we are very well connected to the rest of Bali via the toll road. Perhaps you expected to be in a more busy area, but the reason why our guests choose our place is that they are looking for a more tranquil and relaxed location to unwind and rest on their holidays...especially considering that other areas of Bali are very noisy and have traffic.The pools are actually open and accessible anytime, but usually our guests do not swim anymore after the evening...even though we have lights in the pools. We respect the rest and comfort of other guests, and if the pool bar is open later, other guests will complain. Our pool bar is 95% of the time manned, but perhaps you understand that the staff may need to use the restroom from time to time. In those cases we would usually have another staff replacing so we will make sure our bar never stays empty. The private beach we have in Samuh IS possible to swim, so if you say otherwise is because you went there with the low tide (for that reason we have a big board in the lobby indicating the tide schedule and the best time to go). Be aware that Samuh Beach is the same beach in Nusa Dua shared with all the ultra-luxury 5-stars resorts on Bali. We reiterate: is possible to swim. The room dining service works well, both in terms of pick-up the phone and delivery. The only reason we can think of your comment is that during August we had a few days with extremely high occupancy (98%) and that there are dozens of guests ordering room service at the same time, reason why there was a backlog - but only certain day at a certain hour. We are sorry that you didn't get a great experience like the majority of other guests.

We had a wonderful time at Sakala resort! We enjoyed contemporary style of our pool view suit with marble decorated bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. A huge pool was warm and sparking clean. Staff was were helpful with facilitating our shuttle to a beach and mall, as well as kindly accommodating our late departure. Huge thank you to Demmy and Ian for getting out of their way to make our holiday memorable!

Thank you for the positive feedback about our breakfast, we know how important it is to start the day with a lot of energy and is a great opportunity to interact with other guests. We highly recommend everyone to get their booking with the breakfast included.We have 2 pools, our massive Lagoon Pool with 125 long (among the largest in Bali!) and our infinity pool with ocean views at our beach club. The latter is made of black stone, which retains the heat from the sun and makes it warm enough (yet refreshing) to use it at any season of the year. Yes, we offer free shuttle to our second beach venue (Samuh Beach House) better suited for swimming and here we have a bar, sun lounges, towels, toilet, shower and wifi. Perfect for spending the day. In addition, we have also a shuttle to Bali Collection Shopping Mall just a few minutes away. We are happy to read that both Demmy and Ian were able to assist you in your departure and provided an excellent service.We hope to see you back again soon!
