Tegal Sari Accommodation Ubud

Nice hotel, but everything a little bit tiny (eg pool area). There is a parking space between the hotel and the beach with a lot of nasty street dogs, unfortunately hotel staff is not really helping with it.

Unfortunately we only were able to spend one night there because it was fully booked. We understand after spending a night there why. You will be amazed by this hotel: from the top notch service and help from the staff and the impressive amount of amenities and activities provided. Monkeys might be your neighbors as the monkey forest is near. We were in love overall with the hotel. If you are looking for a comfortable and all-included hotel, this is the place to go We highly recommend

Для отдыха на Бали мы чередовали районы.В некоторых останавливались только что бы переночевать и ездить по достопримечательностям, а некоторые что бы именно в отеле отдохнуть И этот выбрали на 3 ночи для отдыха.Но сильно пожалели что только на 3.Хотя бы минимум нужно было на 5 Но увы,отпуск короткий.Отель находится в очень живописном месте.И да же не хочется покидать эту красивую территорию.Завтраки вкусные .Персонал отзывчивый.Уборка, смена полотенец ежедневно.Очень советую.

Nicely situated between rice paddies and greenery, room was on lower floor of two. It’s a long hotel and rooms near front entrance look very sterile in a block so fortunate we were near back entrance. The grounds are kept immaculately clean and the food in the restaurant is good. The staff were friendly except unpleasant small ending about small laundry bag. Indra did great pick-up from airport and gave very good Bali introduction to temples on way. A cleaner took pictures of cables we left in trash and wanted to make sure we threw them away. Only small down bit unfortunately ant end of trip was unpleasant checkout person who made fuss about missing laundry bag (laughable in relation to amount spent at hotel).

I have stayed at the Tegal Sari many times and it exceeds my expectations each time. Every meal was a culinary delight, with a focus on organic ingredients that left me feeling both satisfied and energised. The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to accommodate every request. They are always on hand to assist and manage to do so with a warm smile, making you feel right at home. Their promptness is also worth mentioning—whether it was a request for additional amenities or any other need, they arrived at a moment's notice, always eager to help. Another highlight was the cleanliness of the rooms. They were meticulously maintained and kept spotlessly clean throughout my stay. Overall, this hotel provides a unique and wonderful stay, right in the centre of Ubud but you also feel away from the hustle and bustle. . With its mix of traditional and new accommodation, exceptional organic food, and attentive service, it is a perfect choice for anyone looking to experience both comfort and culture In central Ubud. Highly recommended!

Spent a week at a yoga retreat at Tegal Sari. It's 3ish star accommodation - some rooms, some villas (with and without private pools) - winding through a long, narrow site in central Ubud, surrounded by trees and a few rice fields, with good views over to the nearby Monkey Forest. I had a villa with a private pool, with an undercover, outdoor bathroom, and several outdoor sitting and lounging areas. Inside there was a large queen bed and storage; the villa was air-conditioned with blackout curtains. It was well serviced. Although there is a lot of development around TS, the villa was private, although some nights there was loud music from adjacent properties. My flight was delayed with the global IT crash, and my luggage didn't arrive. TS staff followed up with the airport, and collected my case the next day when going to meet other guests. There's a cafe at the front of the property that overlooks the busy street, serves reasonable food, and has a balcony for people watching. It also provides room service. TS provides a shuttle to a nearby spa, which will also provides services onsite. There are 2 communal pools. TS staff are great - uniformly friendly and helpful, and a highlight of my stay. Ubud is busy these days - not the quiet, green, laid-back place it once was. TS was a sanctuary in the middle of touristy Ubud.

This is the fifth time (at least) we have stayed at Tegal Sari in the last decade and this time we brought 7 friends to join us. As always Tegal Sari exceeds expectations. It is astounding value as we all stayed in different styles of rooms and all were very happy with their accommodation. The staff are absolutely wonderful, the communal pool is superb and there is a beautiful feeling of calm in the complex as you walk around. This is a not to be missed place to stay. Tegal Sari is a quiet oasis in the hustle-bustle of Ubud. The grounds are beautiful and it feels like a secret garden on the edge of a rice-field. The staff is like family. We absolutely LOVE the experience of staying at Tegal Sari. We ordered room service and the food was fabulous... organic from the garden on-site.

The staff here is incredible. Friendly, helpful and willing to do anything to please their guests. Tegal Sari offers many different styles of accommodation from typical hotel rooms at $A40 a night to luxury villas with private pools for $A190 a night. Brilliant value. There are two communal pools, both small but lovely, a yoga room, massage space and an outdoor gym. Tegal Sari is smack in the middle of two main streets but is quiet and provides easy access to a plethora of shops, cafes and restaurants. I love this place and the people who run it. My partner and I will return again and again.
