Friendly staff, good location however the hotel needs renovating and more maintenance. The stay was okay however very hot, due to the walls having gaps - air conditioning didn’t work well.

Pictures show decepticely modern room. Actually they are rustic and a bit run down. My wife wanted something more modern. Good pool again facilities.arund it were good but run down. Nice enough. decent value. Not a wow.

We were here during nyepi. The staff took great care of us and when we could adventure, they rented us scooters and helped book a car for our transport.

The hotel is nice. In our room we struggled with the number of mosquitos, no matter how much repellent (plug-in and spray). The staff was extremely nice, just communication about transportation or dietary requirements required triple checking as there were often mixups.

Booked through Booking and then read the many negative reviews on Tripadvisor. This made me cancel the booking. I contacted the owner, a most friendly and caring person who in part had to manage the staff from Europe in recent months, and he was open about some of the reported issues (mould, hot water). It affected some rooms. These are under repair and new management was put in place. In short, all issues were dealt with. Staff (and owner) extremely friendly!! Rooms (was shown several) were fantastic and very well furnished. Breakfast was outstanding. Thus, highly recommended! Olena x

Do not let the photos fool you This hotel was due for a renovation 7 years ago. When we got there, we were early before checkin so we hung around the pool area. At 13:50 we asked again if our room was ready. They said it was but had to ask the manager if they could let us in 10 minutes early. They were not allowed to. Why? I don't know, but I have never experienced this type of distrust or lack of service mindedness. The premisses is falling to pieces. It rained in on my bed at night, which we let the manager know. He fixed it by leisurely putting a tarp over the roof. The room is damp, and there are moisture balls in every corner to manage this. The door is impossible to close and lock, and there are gaps inbetween the roof and the walls to let insects in. They also wouldn't let us check out before checking our room. There is no minibar, so I am assuming they wanted to see if we destroyed anything in the room. Also shows the amount of distrust for their guests, which is ridiculous considering I would never trust this hotel given the discrepancy between photos and reality. Do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel until they have renovated and changed management. Or lowered the price, because it is NOT worth what we paid.

We when with my partner on may for 3 nights and we had serious problems. First we booked the room directly but when we arrived our booking didn't appeared in the system. The people (very kind) from the front desk trying to solve it out and they gave us other room. However, we paid for the best room with see view we supposed to have it on the next day but it never happened. they called the manager or owner he was rude and didn't care. He just told us “ we make a refund and go and looking for another hotel” which was impossible but that time. At the end we had an standard room they refund us as a night as a compensation but we where expecting something more. We had a stressful moment with my partner because we spend several ours in two days trying to solve it out. Definitely I am not recommend this hotel!!

The structure is really poor, poorly maintained, and almost entirely made of wood (that is not bad if well-maintained). It immediately becomes noticeable that no maintenance has been done for years. Many of the parts of the structure are broken and give a sense of abandonment. The rooms are decent, but the water in the shower flows in small drops, there is no pressure, and the air conditioning is totally inadequate for the size of the room (totally useless). The windows barely close, letting mosquitoes in and making all the noises around, without considering the mold that forms due to the lack of maintenance of the wooden structure. There is only a bar open in the morning for breakfast (not included in the price), and then that's it. There is not even the possibility of drinking something while staying in the pool, which, among other things, has cloudy water (ergo, no maintenance). The price for the room is well more than double its real value, it should cost 50-60% less for what it offers. At the same price, there are much better structures near this hotel. Don't be fooled by the photos.
