Lotus Bungalows

I had a great stay at Lotus Bungalows! The hotel is very beautiful, right next to the ocean with a great view. The room is clean, I really liked the decor and the bathroom. I was surprised of a great variety of meals for breakfast. The food was delicious. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends and come back myself!

My favorite corner

I stayed here for a solo trip and felt very safe and well looked after. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the infinity pool looking out to the sea. As it’s attached to the diving centre guests are often out in the morning until early afternoon so it’s very quiet and easy to get a nice spot by the pool. There’s also a gorgeous hammock which is perfect for watching sunset. The rooms are beautiful and the housekeeping team are very sustainability conscious giving you fresh filtered water without using lots of wasteful plastic bottles. I only booked for bed and breakfast as I wasn’t sure about the food after reading other reviews but I wish I’d booked full board as the food was yummy and there really aren’t many other restaurant options around anyway. I don’t know what they put in their nachos but they were absolutely delicious, I had them 5 days in a row and I’m still thinking about them now. On one night the hotel did a BBQ night, I pre-ordered my king prawns poolside in the afternoon and then turned up for the BBQ in the evening where they’d already set me up a gorgeous table for one looking out to the sea (okay it was pitch black but the atmosphere was there) - the BBQ accompaniments of corn, potato, salad, coleslaw were perfect and as always in Bali it was so affordable. I also completed my PADI at the diving centre which was an all-round brilliant experience. I would definitely recommend Lotus Bungalows.

The service and accommodations were excellent. The staff was friendly and professional answering any questions or requests with a smile. The food was very good with a buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner menus were very good with a variety of delicious foods. I will definitely return on a future vacation.

We stayed with Lotus Bungalows over the weekend and we truly had the most amazing time. We did boat dives for two days and our guide Wayan was one of the best we ever had! He was very careful with safety regulations and he was the best at finding critters. Robin, the dive shop manager, was also super kind and helpful with everything. The resort itself was perfect! We loved our room with the outside shower, it felt so serene. The premises have a lot of trees and plants, which makes it look really beautiful. The staff at the resort and restaurant were also so kind! The food options were plentiful. We hade the rice table for two the first night, what a banger! And the service of the restaurant staff was also really good. They are all so kind and they really make sure you have everything you need. We also loved the pool area with the stunning views of the ocean and the Nusa islands. Overal, we can recommend Lotus Bungalows and Gangga Divers to all of our friends! We hope to be back another time this year.
