호텔이 전통사원같이 한적하고 호텔안의 건물과 조경이 전통적으로 아름답습니다. 서비스는 시설이 오래되어 최고의 서비스는 아니지만 직원들이 최선을 다해주고 만족할만큼의 서비스를 받았습니다. 편의시설은 수영장과 카페테리아 뿐이지만, 호텔을 이용하는데는 충분하였습니다. 오래된 호텔이여서 시설을 낡았지만 직원들이 친절하고 최선을 다해서 최고의 서비스를 제공해주려고 노력하여 만족하였습니다. 다음에 우붓을 가면 꼭 다시 이용하고싶은 호텔입니다. 한적하고 아늑한 호텔을 원하시면 추천드립니다.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Nicks hidden Villas the price was Great the room was clean & comfortable & quiet & the air conditioner was cool & quiet. It's a short stroll from the street & within walking distance of all the main streets. They give you a map which is handy if you plan on doing a bit of walking exploring the markets & restaurants nearby. The staff were helpful, this will be my go to place anytime in Ubud.

Very pleasant cottage. The name cottage sounds smaller than what it actually is. Nice bed, large bathroom. Personally I would have preferred just a shower instead of a bath tub in which you can take a shower. The small pool is nice for a refreshing dip. The young staff is very friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Choice between American/Continental/Asian. On walking distance from the centre of Ubud.

It was an amazing setting with room tucked away through the rice paddy The staff very friendly and food delicious. The pool was was delightful. A short walk to other restaurants , shops and day spas.

Nicks greatest asset is it's wonderful staff who will go above and beyond for you from check in, daily housekeeping and breakfast. The ambience is real Bali style, an oasis hidden behind a rice Paddy but close enough to the main drag and loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Rooms are good but if your expecting the Hilton you best look elsewhere. Rooms were clean, had great aircon and nice outlook. Pool area was fantastic. Driver Dex was reliable, super friendly and made us feel very safe. Breakfast was adequate with three different styles to choose from, Nasi Goreng was the best I had in Ubud ans trust me I did the level work! Great Value for money.

Positive things first - a) property has some excellent staff - professional and service oriented (their names were hard to remember!). b) the room and bathroom are spacious c) WiFi is good d) there is a pool with a forest view e) welcome drink and towel were refreshing f) they offer a map to the area. Here are some things that did not work for me: a) there is a safety locker in the room - which was very hard to operate b) the place itself is a bit hard to get to, through a narrow walkway and once saw a small snake in the pathway (no harm done) as the area has wet rice fields (this is not something that the hotel can change but sharing my experience) c) hotel has a transport desk but rental is priced on the higher side d) Break fast is IDR 50,000 and was OK, not great e) Property has no security barrier or security personnel (it is like a traditional balinese house) - so, basically, anybody can walk into the property f) the door of the room did not close tightly (both inside and outside) - inside, one has to use a wooden bolt and outside it is a loosely held lock - this led to some insects entering the room. as the property is amidst rice fields and trees, one cannot rule out the risk of reptiles entering into the room. g) the room had some coffee-like substance placed in a cup under the bed which had developed mold (this may be their version of room freshener but was odd). h) Property is close to the central market area but a tough walk, if it is raining heavily as the leading road is bad. Their company also has a restaurant called Nick's pension which is about 100 metres walk from the property and found the service to be poor there. All in all, this is an OK property but for concerns sighted above, I would not stay here again.
