The service from the staff was amazing, they were really helpful, friendly and polite. The food was amazing too. The bad part about it is the location of the place, it’s not in the city, and you have to go through a lot of narrow roads to get there, not to mention it’s literally in the woods. It is impossible to walk on your own given that there’s no street lights at almost all the places. Moreover, there’s a lot of bugs and dead bugs in the room, even in the bath tub. Hence, it is advised to clean everything before you use them when you first arrive.

We stayed here for 6 nights for our wedding anniversary. It’s a boutique hotel, and even so the customer service was exceptional! We couldn’t be happier with our pick. Initially we were only planning to stay for couple of nights, but we extended another night each time as we couldn’t be more pleased and satisfied with the top notch customer service here. It’s peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We would have a restful deep sleep each night. The team and the manager himself are so friendly and welcoming. They would ask how our day went and would make small chit chat with us, and show genuine concern. Our highlight of our holiday would be here at this hotel, we have never come across a hotel friendlier and comfortable like this, there’s a family feel, and we’ll miss them dearly! We love you, and thank you so much for the bottom of our hearts for each and everyone of you in making my and my husband’s stay so memorable and unforgettable. We had a fabulous wedding anniversary at Bali because of you. With love, Susanne and Ming Yin.

忘記拍照片了～烏布的酒店好像都是比較偏一點～烏布有森林的感覺～這家酒店的服務我給滿分💯～老闆超級好幫我們提行李～凌晨去追海豚也幫我提着行李出去車上～真的很好～很温暖～酒店也很衞生～還送了兩杯比較特色的飲料～

This hotel was a luxury tucked away in ubud, entire experience was top tier. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, the rooms were beautiful and clean and the view from them was as if you were in the jungle, very serene. The food here was also very food and the breakfast was filling and delicious but overall the very friendly staff made the stay even better. It is a wee bit out of town but the hotel supplies shuttles every hour which is very helpful

This is a fantastic well priced hotel. We were two couples (one with 2 young children) We had dinner in reg hotel the first night which was excellent. Breakfast was very good also. The pool is small but clean and deep and refreshing. Rooms are good and beds very comfortable. But the service and staff Is what makes it extra special.

The best place we have ever stayed. The friendliest staff that are willing to drop everything to cater to your every need. Beautiful room and a great restaurant. They provided us with an inclusive breakfast and afternoon tea every day of our stay. We hired a scooter through the accommodation, we had massages in our bed. There is a beautiful pool and you’re in the middle of a tropical paradise. The staff are the best. We will be back.

A lovely and peaceful hotel located just out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud but still very close to restaurants, attractions etc. Staff are fantastic, they’re very professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious!

We have spent here some days of our honeymoon and we loved it. First of all, when we have arrived, a nice flowerbath was prepared for us and we received a welcome drink. The environment is magnificent, you are in the middle of the nature. The rooom was clean and beautiful. We ate our breakfast every morning on our balcony, which was a great experience. I would highly reccomend to visit this place at least once in your life, you won't regret it. :)

My partner and I stayed here for our first 2 nights of our stay in Bali. The staff at the hotel are incredible. Friendly, accomodating and attention to detail was amazing. They made us feel so special and comfortable. Our room was set away from the main building so it felt quite private. The jungle concept was beautifully designed and we had our own balcony to sit and watch the nature. Butterflies, glow flies at night, lizards and all sorts of interesting insects. The breakfast was delicious and served to our room s ok we could sit and enjoy amongst the nature. The food in the cafe was delicious also, and reasonably priced. We tried to stay another night, but unfortunately it was fully booked - we can see why! We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back there! Thanks Tom and Sophie ❤️

I highly recommend the Compass Rose Ubud where Istayed 4 nights with my family. First of all the location is incredible, it is in a forest, very quiet area, far from all the urban noise. Then the Managing Director Mr Nengah Suweca is a very caring person, available and humble. The staff always asked if we were ok and they are always ready to help. This is so far with my family our first trip to Bali and our stay in Ubud was just exceptional. The rooms are amazing and well decorated. The food is refined and prices are correct. If my family and I got the chance to come back to Ubud, we will definitely stay at the Compass Rose Ubud.

The Compass Rose is zeker een aanrader als je wil verblijven in een rustige omgeving. Zeer nette kamers en het personeel maakt echt een verschil! Zeer vriendelijk personeel, die altijd met een glimlach voor je klaar staat. Ruim aanbod aan ontbijt en diner. Je kon er ook voor kiezen om het ontbijt naar je kamer te laten brengen. De locatie is iets verder van het centrum, maar er wordt een shuttle aangeboden door het hotel en met de Grab ben je ook zo in het centrum. Wij zullen hier zeker terugkomen!

Points positifs : - Personnel accueillant, souriant, avenant et très réactif (communication par whatapps et réponse en quelques minutes), - Chambre joliment décorée avec le nécessaire de toilette mis à disposition, - Welcome drink servi dans votre chambre et cadeau à notre depart, - Le Wifi fonctionne parfaitement, - Très bon petit déjeuner (de trois types et que l’on peut alterner : indonésien / continental / américain) servi en chambre ou au restaurant a votre convenance, - Service de laundry a disposition, - L’hotel est situé dans un quartier calme d’Ubud, Point négatif : - piscine ou l’on peut se sentir un peu engoncé car située a l’accueil de l’hôtel, Conseil : - louer un scooter car l’hôtel se situe a 5 km du centre d’Ubud sinon nécessite d’appeler un taxi pour se déplacer. En bref : Nous avons résidé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel et notre expérience a été très agréable, les petits déjeunes sont très bons, le personnel est serviable et s’assure en permanence que vous n’avez besoin de rien, la situation géographique de l’hôtel nous a permis d’apprécier le calme à quelques minutes de l’agitation du centre ville ! Un grand merci à toute l’équipe du Compass !
