Welcome to Cliff’s End! A three level family retreat with 4 bedrooms 3 full bathrooms featuring everything you will need for a relaxing getaway to Shenandoah County. As the name indicates, Cliff’s End sits atop a hill across from the famous year round Bryce Resort. Enjoy amazing views of the resort from the living room, floor to ceiling, windows, the game room and of course from all four bedrooms! It sleeps up to 12 people comfortably. Many features in the home were recently renovated in 2021.Enjoy reading a book by the living room gas fire place or the cozy game room fire place! Wake up early, to watch the sun rising from across the mountains. Watch people fish in the creek across the home, or watch the resort activity (mountain biking, skiing and golfers) from your living room. Watch birds fly right in front of the living room windows while seeing an occasional critter (squirrels) jump from branch to branch! And if that’s not enough, you can watch different model small planes take off and land on the air strip right in front!Bring the chef out in you to cook and bake in the two full size kitchens! Or perhaps, enjoy a BBQ with the outdoor propane grill!Simply star gaze at night and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. Take in the mountain air on the hammock or sit by the fire pit! Take a pillow and blanket and lie down on the pine wood bench carved into the mountain and read a book or just soak in the sun! The game room comes equipped with many games such as, a foosball table, a pool table, dart board, ringer darts, an indoor basketball hoop, many board games, cards and puzzles! You’ll never be bored! The house is fully stocked to help make your vacation worry free. This includes a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make a gourmet meal, high quality towels and linens, and all the bathroom amenities that you would find in a 5 star hotel.The location is ideal for access to Bryce Resort. You can take a 5 minute walk down the street and ski or bike down the hill to pick up your lift tickets!! We are a 5 minute drive to Lake Laura and the check in for Bryce Resort's golf course. There are amazing hikes and wineries within 30 minutes of this home.The home's floor plan has several open areas for lounging with large groups. There is a sunken fireplace seating area, a living room with a large smart TV, and a game room with a pool table, Golden Tee video game, smart TV and seating areas. All floors open out to mountain views.The top floor has all the bedrooms and bathrooms and is an ideal setup for larger groups. 5 Bedrooms and 3 full bath baths provide an ideal retreat for multiple families and friends. This 2800 square foot, 4 bedroom Chalet is located an easy 1 mile drive to either the Bryce lodge and ski slopes in the winter or Lake Laura in the summer. The home is unique for the area because it has a fenced yard for your dogs, WI-Fi, Basic Cable TV, a custom bar and wine chiller, surround sound media in a theater room, and a Foosball tables, both wood and gas fireplaces and a 40'' flat screen TV and an amazing gas fire pit. Enjoy wood and mountain views from either the screened porch or large open deck, or the spectacular covered flagstone terrace with outdoor music speakers, and fire pit. There are 2 above ground levels offering a total of four bedrooms and 2,5 baths. On one floor there is the first master bedroom with a king bed and a private bathroom. This floor also has the kitchen, theater room, dining room and family room. So if one of your guests has mobility challenges, they can participate easily without having to do stairs. There are also two queen sofa beds on this floor. The other floor has 3 bedrooms. A second master bedroom, with a queen size bed opens to the covered flagstone terrace. The middle bedroom has both a double bed and a twin bed. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. All the bedrooms except the fourth bedroom have a ceiling fan and a 19" TV for personal viewing.The chalet offers central air conditioning for maximum comfort in the summers.For large groups, the two driveways allow parking for up to 6 cars. If you bring a dog, you will be pleased to know that there is a fenced dog run. So in the morning, enjoy your coffee on the screened porch while your dog takes a safe walk on its own!There is a laundry room on the lower level for your convenience.Activities: As part of the Bryce Resort, you have close access to the ski lifts, 18-hole golf, putt-putt golf, Lake Laura, zip-line, water tubing, snow tubing, and a climbing wall (fees apply), as well as the Lodge with its restaurant and bar.Local Attractions:: Lurray, Shenandoah and Crystal Caverns; Sky Line Drive; Historic New Market; Battlefields; Antique shopping along Route 11 from Strasburg to New Market; Vineyards: and only a two hour drive to Washington, D.C.Amenities: The house has lots of storage space for golf clubs, snow boards and ski equipment. We maintain the property with regular pest control and professional cleaners (including bug removal), but due to the surroundings, insects can find their way inside from time to time.
