Wooded Retreat is a private studio apartment separate from main house, surrounded by trees and nature. Sitting on your deck you feel as though you in the trees. Watch deer, wild turkeys and rascally squirrels working feverishly gathering pine nuts!! Please feel free to explore the grounds. Walk in the woods, or sit on our man made beach, around the fire pit watching the sunset! Take a nap or read a book from the library on the hammock. Only spaces we prefer you not explore are the garage and main house & deck please and thank you. We have two mountain bikes, and for winter we have two snow sleds ( see pics) available for our guests to use at no extra charge. You must however have a truck or proper restraint system for transporting them. We are approximately 10 min. to Twain Harte, 12 min. to Sonora, 15 min..To Jamestown, Columbia State Park and Airport, 30 min. To Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort depending on weather and road conditions. Phoenix Lake Golf course is a beautiful 9 hole course a very short 1/2 mile from our property, perfect for hitting a quick bucket of balls!
