"It's very difficult to write an original review without repeating compliments about the hotel and its owner. I can say that staying here was the most wonderful part of my vacation in Pattaya and Koh Larn. You're surrounded by care even before your arrival: the owner will arrange transfers from the pier, help you to rent a motorbike, provide a spinning (if you want to go fishing), and everything you need for your stay. Most importantly, the atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility that reigns here. I wish the owner and staff success and prosperity and would be happy to return."

DDaniel84 UkWell what a place , excellent , on arrival a very warm welcome from the owner/manager and we were early but room was ready and happy for us to check in , they offer tea, coffee and noodles for free 😊
The room was perfect and probably the best bed we had slept in for 20days , fridge full of things that you can drink and pay for at end of your stay
We then took a walk but with not a great foot from a injury we soon seeked for a scooter and the owner let us rent his at 250bht each so we had 1 each .
Best thing we did was getting a scooter its only way to see this island and we only had 1 night.
There are a lot of places to rent scooters but if you can deal with the 3min walk from the pier to this place I would you hang on so to give them the revenue
The island is lovely , places to sea , seafood buffets at a low cost and I mean bargains
I just wish we had longer I think I could of done a week lol

LLaiaaaaMi è piaciuto molto il mio soggiorno qui. Il personale è così gentile e disponibile che mi ha organizzato il trasporto ogni giorno verso diverse spiagge e intorno all'isola.
La piscina è incantevole e puoi raggiungere a piedi una spiaggia nelle vicinanze, ma in generale tutte le spiagge sono facilmente raggiungibili in auto.
Servono una buona colazione e le camere sono enormi e molto pulite e i bagni sono incantevoli!
Ritornerò sicuramente.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, there are several issues with the management system that need improvement.
First, regarding room cleaning procedures: at most hotels and accommodations, the front desk keeps a spare key or key card so housekeeping can access rooms for cleaning when guests are out. At this property, guests are required to hang their room key outside the door until housekeeping finishes cleaning, sometimes as late as 2:00 PM. This is a serious security concern because anyone could potentially access the room while the key is left unattended outside.
Second, if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay with good soundproofing, this hotel may not be the best choice. Noise from outside the room is easily heard throughout the day and night.
Last night, shortly after midnight, I was awakened by a very loud group of people. When I went outside to investigate, I saw a group of guests drinking in the restaurant area located directly next to my room. The noise was so loud that I could not sleep. I politely asked why the restaurant was still open, as I had been informed during check-in that it closed at 10:00 PM. The guests told me that a staff member had opened the restaurant for them. I then politely asked them to lower their voices because my room was right next to the restaurant.
I do not blame the guests at all. The responsibility lies with the hotel staff, who allowed the restaurant to be used after midnight despite the clearly stated closing time of 10:00 PM.
Areas for improvement:
1. Guest safety and security — Guests should not be required to leave their room keys hanging outside their doors for housekeeping.
2. Enforcement of hotel policies — If the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM, that rule should be consistently followed. Future guests staying in rooms near the restaurant should not have to endure loud noise until 1:00 or 2:00 AM as I did.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but better management and stricter adherence to its own policies would greatly improve the guest experience.

Beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout, matched by warm and attentive service. The rooms are masterfully designed-comfortable, inspiring, and peaceful-all facing the water with inviting outdoor spaces you'll want to linger in.
Every detail, from the scent of the rooms to the amenities provided, feels carefully considered.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Portosalo. The team made everything feel seamless and special. The location is excellent-tucked away and private, yet still walkable (about 8 minutes to the pier). They'll pick you up in a buggy if needed. The motorbike rental was convenient and in great condition, and breakfast each day was lovely.
Highly recommended.

UUtente ospiteWe originally booked 3 nights at Tawaen Beach Resort and ended up extending for another 3 nights — and honestly, that says everything.
This is not our first stay. We were here six months ago, stayed in the same resort, and deliberately came back again. Consistency matters, and Tawaen Beach Resort delivers it every single time.
The staff are outstanding — professional, genuinely kind, attentive, and always accommodating. You feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of from the moment you arrive.
The food and coffee pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to neighboring resorts where prices feel exaggerated and borderline absurd. Here, you actually feel you’re getting value without being taken advantage of.
Cleanliness deserves special mention. The hygiene standards are truly top-tier resort level — rooms, lobby, common areas — everything is spotless and well maintained. This is something many resorts on the island fail at, even if they look nice on the outside.
Location? Simply unbeatable.
You step out of the resort and within seconds, you’re standing in front of a magical turquoise-blue sea and perfectly clean, soft white sand — genuinely one of the best beach fronts in Koh Larn.
They have beach lounges and chairs where you can relax all day, and the beach staff constantly adjust the umbrellas as the sun moves — a small detail that makes a huge difference. Service is attentive without being intrusive.
What truly impressed us:
Over the past few weeks, we met multiple couples (not one, not two — FOUR) who stayed at nearby resorts and had nightmare experiences — poor hygiene, bad rooms, disappointing service. After visiting our room, lobby, and seeing the standards at Tawaen Beach Resort, they immediately canceled their bookings and rebooked here.
That alone speaks volumes.
We live just outside Pattaya and come to Koh Larn almost every month. One thing is absolutely certain:
We will never stay anywhere else. Ever.
The pricing is very fair, especially compared to the nonsense prices next door that don’t deliver even half the quality.
Try this place once — and you’re hooked for life.

От отеля до Манки бич 2,5 км, до пирса Бали хай 700 метров, рядом много кафешек/магазинов. Байк (300) и такси (100)можно попросить у владельца. Ночью долбит музыка из кафешек,все бы ничего, но певцам на ухо медведь наступил. На улице где можно посидеть хорошо, но много мух, муравьев и Комаров.

Ma si può lasciare le valigie e andare alla spiaggia, comprare una buca per 100 battiti e giacire su di essa tutto il giorno come dicono, ma è fino a 16.00. La zona è sicuramente bella, il mare è lasurio. Vicino all'hotel 7/11. Puoi noleggiare una bici per 200 baht, dicono tutto il giorno, ma non abbiamo provato. Cosa vuoi dire sull'hotel stesso, l'abbiamo preso per 4 con qualcosa, ma non costa i suoi soldi. Quando il posto era sporco, l'armadio era completamente odorevole, sostituito con pulito. Ci sono sapone, shampoo e gel da doccia, 2 bottiglie d'acqua e tutto. Inoltre, due porte con uscite in diverse parti dell'hotel. La mattina mi sveglio da qualcuno che è terrorizzato di salire da una parte della stanza all'altra, spaventato. Un po'di tempo mi ha reso conto che era qualcosa che correva sul tetto, quindi non riuscivo a dormire, grazie a Dio il marito si svegliò e mi sono calmato.
