Hotel con balcone a Coron

I stayed there 5 nights. The front staff was very kind and friendly. The restaurant was good. I like the atmosphere. I could ask to keep my beer on their fridge as I didn't have it at my room. Speaking of my room, it was specious but a bit difficult to reach because I need to climb many stairs. However, if I need a hair dryer, I could ask the staff through ” what's up”, which was really convenient for me. Thank you Camila and one another ready.

La mia esperienza complessiva è buona! Sono il tipo di persona che preferisce viaggiare attivamente, quindi l'hotel è necessario letteralmente solo per dormire, fare la doccia e riporre le proprie cose. I miei requisiti per l'hotel erano una buona vicinanza al centro città e una bella camera con doccia calda. Beh, la posizione è davvero ottima, è un po' in collina, quindi per raggiungere il centro città basta scendere. Nello stesso edificio c'è un ottimo caffè, il DAYO, che offre uno sconto del 10% al giorno agli ospiti dell'Oceana Bay Hotel. Durante il nostro viaggio nelle Filippine, Coron è stata l'ultima destinazione e il quarto hotel in cui abbiamo soggiornato, ed è stato l'unico ad avere qualche problema con i servizi in camera. Al check-in abbiamo scoperto che non c'era acqua nella doccia, il personale ha cercato davvero di essere disponibile, la ragazza alla reception ci ha offerto di soggiornare in un'altra camera di categoria superiore prima che il problema venisse risolto. Il problema è che quando un giorno dopo siamo dovuti tornare in camera, il problema con l'acqua non era stato risolto, abbiamo dovuto contattare il personale in continuazione, il che è stato sicuramente molto scomodo, soprattutto perché l'acqua poteva essere chiusa mentre facevamo la doccia. A quel punto a nessuno importava più, non c'erano offerte per cambiare camera o per offrirci uno sconto. Il sifone del lavandino perdeva, quindi ogni volta che ci si lavava le mani, il pavimento del bagno si allagava immediatamente. L'aria condizionata è davvero rumorosa, ma questo è assolutamente normale nelle Filippine, così come l'assenza di asciugacapelli. Un aspetto positivo è che l'hotel fornisce acqua potabile illimitata nella hall. L'hotel offre anche tour, noleggio biciclette e trasferimento per l'aeroporto, ma consiglio di verificare prima in città, dove abbiamo trovato offerte più convenienti e a prezzi migliori.

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno piacevole MA il check-in non è stata una bella esperienza. Siamo stati grati di aver potuto effettuare il check-in prima (intorno alle 13:00-13:30), ma siamo rimasti delusi dal fatto che all'arrivo nessuno ci abbia aiutato con i bagagli. Abbiamo 1 bagaglio grande e 1 piccolo. Dopo il check-in, ci è stato detto che saremmo stati assistiti da uno dei loro membri dello staff fino alla nostra camera. Ci aspettavamo che i nostri bagagli sarebbero stati portati in camera, ma nessuno l'ha fatto. Il personale che ci ha assistito non ci ha davvero aiutato con i bagagli, ci stava solo accompagnando in camera, non poteva aiutarci perché questo personale potrebbe non essere in grado di trasportare i nostri bagagli grandi, quindi non le abbiamo chiesto di farlo per noi. È solo difficile trasportare i bagagli perché la camera è lontana dalla hall e il percorso che porta alla camera non è piatto o liscio, adatto per spingere i bagagli. Abbiamo dovuto trasportare i bagagli fino alla nostra camera. I punti positivi sono: la camera è enorme, la piscina è abbastanza grande. La colazione è decente. Il Wi-Fi è buono. Punti negativi, quella volta la nostra rete cellulare non aveva segnale, a volte si interrompeva, ma la cosa positiva è che hanno un generatore. Siate attenti ai vostri ospiti. Dall'arrivo alla partenza, siate consapevoli delle loro esigenze. L'hotel in sé è molto buono, ma il servizio dovrebbe essere migliorato.

L'hotel è un piccolo edificio e le camere sono piccole, ma la vista sulla piscina è accettabile. La posizione è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dalla strada principale ed è piuttosto tranquilla. Non sono rimasta soddisfatta dei servizi, ma l'ascensore era rotto e inutilizzabile. Inoltre, dopo essermi lavata i capelli quella sera, ho chiesto un asciugacapelli, ma non mi hanno detto che sarebbe stato disponibile il giorno dopo. Sono andata a letto con la testa bagnata.

La posizione dell'hotel è incantevole e abbiamo visto dei tramonti stupendi. Le barche che trasportavano gli ospiti da e per la città erano sempre puntuali e ci hanno accompagnato la mattina presto al momento del check-out, gratuitamente. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, ma ho la sensazione che ognuno faccia il lavoro di due persone. Il ristorante non è un granché. Metà del menu non era disponibile e la qualità del cibo era nella media, a parte i calamari (quando finalmente li hanno riassortiti). Il caffè è pessimo. Inoltre, pubblicizzano l'happy hour, ma quando abbiamo voluto ordinare dei cocktail, ci è stato detto che non c'era un barista in servizio e che potevamo solo ordinare birre. Le strutture necessitano di un urgente ammodernamento. Le camere sono belle, ma dall'esterno sembra un dormitorio o, per essere più macabri, un manicomio. Inoltre, pubblicizzano lo snorkeling, ma ci è stato sconsigliato di entrare in acqua e la piscina ha molti lettini accanto. Non so se prenoteremo di nuovo.

Mio marito e io siamo rimasti all'hotel per tre notti. La nostra esperienza di arrivo era molto accogliente. La stanza era pulita e il colazione era delizioso. Tuttavia, abbiamo trovato la piscina un po' sporca durante il nostro soggiorno, quindi non abbiamo provato. In tutto il nostro soggiorno ci piacevamo e ci piacevamo davvero le vibrazioni della sera nel ristorante, le band vive sono davvero buoni cantanti.

The Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café. The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go. The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan. You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use. I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa. There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance. The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location. The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map. So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.

Overall, average hotel. I was disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again. Room: stayed 5 nights. The room has a mold smell upon entering that persisted even with the bathroom door closed. The toilet also flushed very slow and sometimes required 2 flushes. Room was spacious, and otherwise quite clean and comfortable. Quite dated and furniture had lots of dings/scratches which doesn’t really matter. Staff: I always try to be friendly to service workers because I know their work is hard. The staff I encountered seemed grossly disinterested. On the day of check in, I asked for some water (as I had to wait a few hours till check in), and was asked to pay 65 php for a bottle, but I witnessed another guest receive one for free. Not sure what happened. Also had some communication issues regarding laundry that I had done with the hotel. Perhaps the staff is overworked.. I didn’t experience the friendliness that other reviewers speak of. I do want to shout out Mou, the activities/tour coordinator! She was very friendly, and helpful in planning my activities. She helped address an issue I encountered with my tour very promptly and efficiently. Thank you Mou! Also thank you to the security guards who helped me call tricycles! I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I recommend anyone to stay here. Suggestions: I think communication needs to be improved. If a staff member is busy, it is OK for them to let the guest know that it will be a moment. Would also recommend addressing the mold smell in room 320.

I really love the location of this hotel, specially when you are with kids. The room is spacious. Perfect for family or friends vacation. The receptionist are kind and always smiling 😃

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso allo SkyLodge Resort. Grazie per aver reso il nostro soggiorno di 3 giorni e 2 notti nel vostro hotel degno di nota! Una vista spettacolare sulle montagne e sull'isola. È stata un'esperienza fantastica, personale cordiale e disponibile, ottima colazione a buffet per 2 mattine e un comodissimo bus navetta che può portarti ovunque tu voglia andare. Lo consiglierò sicuramente e tornerò quando tornerò a Coron.
