Absolutely wonderful experience! The place is run by a very friendly elderly couple who truly treat guests like family. They went out of their way to help with every request, no matter how small, and were always patient and warm. What really stood out was that they personally ferried us around whenever we needed to go out, which made getting around incredibly convenient and stress-free. Their kindness, local knowledge, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable, heartfelt, and trustworthy experience. Rooms were also much more spacious than others and clean, amenities were generously provided as well. 这次体验真的非常棒！店/民宿是由一对非常亲切的老夫妻经营的，把客人当成家人一样照顾。无论我们有什么需求，他们都会耐心帮忙，从不嫌麻烦。最贴心的是，他们还会亲自接送我们出行，省心又方便，让整个行程轻松不少。两位长辈非常热心、实在，也很熟悉当地情况，让人住得特别安心和温暖。强烈推荐，是真正有人情味的好地方。

The location of this hotel is perfect. Just a few steps from the front door, through an arch and there you have an idyllic view of the river, bridge, the beautiful architecture, market traders, a mill wheel, wonderful night lights, cafes.etc. The hotel is in a beautiful old house with lovely courtyards. There are lots of steps but the hotel owner kindly carried my case and met me from my taxi. You need a ticket to enter the old town which the owner helped me organise; i coukd not arrive by taxi and just go to the hotel. The view from the room was very nice. There were mosquitos so you should remember your plug in repellent. There was a tea service in the room but no tea

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, despite us not speaking Chinese and them not speaking English! They booked our taxi back to Hezhou station and when we could not find the hotel (the map pin is in the wrong place - it’s really just through the gate after the big tree), they came to collect us and walked us to the place. The bed was a good size and very comfy. Room was clean and air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was small but Huangyao is a short stop so this doesn’t matter too much - shower was good and hot. It was a shame that the door was bolted closed at 6:45am so I couldn’t go for an early stroll - 24/7 reception advertised but maybe not provided.

Entrare nella cantina di drago mi ha portato una sorpresa: qui mantiene sia la cura degli anni di arbusti che la calda moderna che è stata bene.Verde, arbusti, cantina, libri pieno di muri e gatti disegnati, ogni abile idea di progettare parla di ”la vita precedente e la vita presente” della vecchia casa. L'altro aspetto più importante è che ha messo una bottiglia di farmaci. Questa attenzione e cintura di grazia per i turisti è piena di movimento, amore e amore!

This small hotel just outside Huangyao Ancient Town was a great choice for our visit. It’s located only a few minutes’ walk from the entrance to the ancient town, which made it very convenient without being right in the middle of the tourist area. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated after spending the day exploring. The hotel is simple but thoughtfully designed, with clean, comfortable rooms, good air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. The décor mixes modern comfort with local style, and our room had a lovely view of the nearby hills. The staff were friendly and welcoming. While they didn’t help with luggage, they provided useful local tips, such as where to eat nearby and the best times to visit the ancient town to avoid crowds. Communication was basic but sincere, and they were always available if we needed anything. Breakfast was basic but fresh, with rice porridge, buns, and fruit. There’s also a nice courtyard area where we enjoyed relaxing in the evening. Overall, this hotel was a quiet and comfortable base just outside Huangyao. It’s a good value option with kind service and a great location for exploring the ancient town without the noise.

The secret Manor is located quite close to the entrance of the old town, which helps with luggage transport. Parking is outside the old city. We liked how the whole place was decorated. Staff is helpful, helps also with luggage. Except we never met a soul when we went out in the mornings and its kind of dark when finding your way to the exit and there is this one step down which basically is not visible and therefore actually a concern in my view. A breakfast place is right next door which is good except the food is mediocre. We enjoyed our Stay there. The only thing we did not like at all was that beautiful cat being locked up in a cage for most of the day. We chose the place due to the fact we could bring our little dog.

Had a really fantastic time at the hotel and the beautiful ancient town. We booked literally an hour before arriving (late at night) and communication was swift. Hotel owner (wife, husband) and her mum (who helps out) are really friendly and warm. There’s cafe right at the hotel entrance, and we enjoyed great-tasting coffee in the morning. Very strategic location in the ancient town itself, so there’s ticket access fee if arriving in the day but it’s free entry in the evening. Peaceful street in the morning. Beautiful courtyard. There’s also a terrace with a great view of the karst. Owner also allowed us to use the washing machine. Unfortunately we arrived when it was cold (in Dec), so the swimming pool facility was not available. Very well priced too to top it off.Overall, one of the best homestays we’ve ever tried.

Il capo era l’uomo più amichevole che ho incontrato, egli si preoccupa di organizzare un pick-up alla stazione ferroviaria e poi tornare alla stazione a un prezzo ragionevole. Quando la strada che entrava nel suo Inn era grossa, venne e mi aiutava a portare la borsa. Il centro commerciale era proprio davanti al ponte iconico Dailong. Un posto veramente fotogenico, la sera e la mattina presto, dove potevo sedermi e guardare sul ponte facendo davvero niente. Un buon posto per rilassarsi. Dopo cena, sedeva con il capo sopra il tè e i frutti. Un luogo davvero notevole

Questa visita di Huangxian è stata ospitata nell'hotel tematico culturale del Huangxian Palace, e l'esperienza è super soddisfacente.La principale è un parcheggio indipendente, non c'è bisogno di trovare un posto intorno. È appena stato possibile caricare un carico, risparmiando il tempo di caricare fuori, e è molto conveniente entrare nella zona di vista. Haha, la bella cameriera della reception, il servizio è entusiasta e super attento. Ci sono esigenze immediate. Il palazzo è tranquillo e confortevole. La prossima volta tornerò a scegliere questa famiglia.
