Hotel San Felipe

This hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The location is perfect with an abundance of restaurants, shops, and historical sites within a short walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable, and the air conditioner is cold which is great with the hot and humid days! We will definitely return!

My wife and I were planning our wedding anniversary, and we decided to spend a few days in our favorite part of Panama City. We have been permanent residents of Panama since 2010 and often celebrate special events in Casco Viejo. There are many options for great hotels in this district, but we narrowed our choice to Hotel Felipe. It turned out to be a great choice. Like many restored buildings in Casco the original architecture has been beautifully replicated. The individual rooms are marvelously modern and upscale. The service was friendly and efficient. They provided valet parking for the two nights we were there, so we didn’t need to contend with that situation. When we entered our room, a chilled bottle of champagne was waiting for us. The hotel has a close association with El Enemigo, the outstanding restaurant across the street. We had an amazing dinner on the rooftop restaurant and bar. The next day we had a wonderful lunch in the ground floor restaurant. Most importantly, the location is perfect. Everything is within a short walking distance, the Cathedral Plaza, the Canal Museum, the Church of the Golden Altar, and more. On our special night it was again a short walk to our favorite French Restaurant and then another short walk to Danilo’s Jazz Club. We look forward to celebrating another special event at Hotel San Felipe.

Hotel San Felipe is the perfect place to stay in Panama, this hotel will serve you well. The rooms are spacious & spotless. There is a personal sized refrigerator and a Nespresso machine in the room. Housekeeping refreshes your bottled water and Nespresso pods daily while keeping the room clean and tidy. I found the bed to be quite comfortable and the nice thick towels are noteworthy as well. The restaurant is directly across the street and I had breakfast there a few times as well as a few dinners. I actually enjoyed everything I tried. On the roof of the restaurant is a bar with some stools, lounge areas and tables for outdoor dining. The entire staff is absolutely outstanding. Check-in was a breeze I arrived after 8PM. By the time the gentleman handed me my key, he had my bag in his hand and showed me the way. The next morning, I was welcomed again by the daytime staff and was told that if there is anything I needed, just ask. They make you feel like you are right at home. My hat is off to Joel and his entire team at Hotel San Felipe.

Hotel ótimo, quarto bastante espaçoso com um quarto de banho muito bom, limpeza excecional, tem frigobar e máquina de café. A localização é perfeita para percorrer esta parte da cidade a pé. Staff muito prestável e simpático. Recomendamos e voltaríamos.

Ein super Hotel das ich nur weiterempfehlen kann. Zimmer sind sauber und modern ausgestattet. Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten das Problem, dass unser Abflug auf dem späteren Abend verschoben wurde, danach hat man uns kurzehand das Zimmer ohne Aufpreis bis um sechs Uhr Abens angeboten.
