Hotel vicini a Shirvanshah tomb a Baku

I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. Almeno 4 hotel Sapphire sono disponibili a Baku (Sapphire Inn, Sapphire City, Royal Sapphire), per cui può diventare un po' confuso. È un posto molto migliore di quello in realtà, ma ha ancora molti aspetti positivi. Ho la camera 314, un enorme spazio di vecchio stile con un tappeto beige piuttosto svanito e un fottuto papier pettinato d'oro - ma lo spazio è buono e il letto era davvero comodo. Il mio bagno era in buona forma, matite pulite, pioggia grande, acqua calda e asciugamani morbidi. Il telefono non funzionava e la camera era debole. Il pranzo era piuttosto ”non europeo”, con olive, pomodori e formaggio, ma il latte (iogurt, crema e caymak per morire!). L'hotel è anche un servizio per grandi gruppi turistici: quando hanno invaso la sala colazione, è stato difficile trovare un posto e il personale ha lottato per tenere il buffet aggiornato. Ho trovato tutti i membri del personale, alla reception, al servizio in camera e al ristorante, per essere super amici.

Tutti i buoni tempi di giorno!😀 Siamo per la prima volta in Azerbaigian e non abbiamo sbagliato la scelta dell'hotel 👍! Le camere sono grandi, pulite. Ecco una piscina sauna diverse questo è gratuito. La cucina è anche piacevole cucinare deliziosamente. Il personale è gentile. D'altra parte, il ristorante e il jazz club sono separati. Il ristorante ha goduto di una deliziosa cucina 😃 Grazie!

Uno dei primi hotel di Baku, appartenente alla storica catena sovietica Inturist. L'hotel si affaccia sul Mar Caspio, anche se va detto che la vista non è particolarmente affascinante, considerando che il Mar Caspio appare piuttosto grigio, sporco e un po' triste. Pertanto, consiglierei di optare per le stanze interne, che offrono invece una splendida vista sulle Flame Towers. La posizione è comunque ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dal bellissimo centro storico di Baku. Le stanze sono piacevoli e spaziose, ben arredate e con letti grandi e rigidi (quindi molto comodi), garantendo un soggiorno confortevole. La sauna è piccola e presenta alcuni malfunzionamenti, mentre il bar è davvero ben fatto ed elegante, anche se gli addetti non sembrano conoscere davvero la loro professione. Il punto critico di questo hotel è infatti ia totale mancanza di professionalità del personale. Erano completamente assenti alla reception, impegnati in divertenti conversazioni tra di loro o concentrati sui loro smartphone. Va detto, però, e non va a loro merito, che al momento del check-out si sono mostrati tutti molto attenti e disponibili, addirittura ossequiosi, chiaramente sperando in una mancia. Alcuni addetti alle pulizie, invece, ci hanno persino inseguito per tutte le scale chiedendo la mancia, senza un reale motivo apparente, dato che le camere non erano mai pulite secondo lo standard della catena. Tuttavia, cari amici, è importante sottolineare che una mancia va guadagnata, e in questo caso sembra mancare totalemente una base di professionalità. In un certo senso, questa mancanza rovina la reputazione del prestigioso marchio Sheraton a Baku.

È un hotel più conveniente e confortevole in questa zona. mi sento come una casa. Ottima capacità linguistica del personale di accoglienza.

La struttura è molto pulita e bella, e ha un'ottima colazione e una bella sala da pranzo e una vista bella da davanti a vista al bellissimo parco.

Lovely hotel located in the Old City of Baku. The check-in was really quick. The hotel room was spacious & clean. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Anything required was provided immediately. The restaurant (Natavan restaurant) on the 4th floor had a lovely view of the entire city. The food was good. However, I hope they could improve a bit on the breakfast. The breakfast served was mostly the traditional dishes. Overall it was was good, However, they need to keep some more hot breakfast items. The best part of staying at this hotel was the location. Everything was a 5 - 10 min walk to most of the tourist attractions - Shirvanshah Palace, Miniature book museum, the double gates, Nizami street, Phalharmony gardens etc...

Sono ancora in questo hotel e mi aspetto di controllare il giorno dopo. Prima cosa, ho prenotato 2 notti e la prima camera che hanno assegnato è 323. Rumore da karaoke o banda fino 11.30Pm anche con il suono. Il letto, di dimensioni reali ma sul lato destro, si è ingoiato e se si dovesse ruotare a sinistra si sentirà più alto e anche la progettazione del bagno è atroce apparentemente pulito a un occhio ma guarda più vicino. Il pendolo è così alto che solo le persone più alte possono raggiungere le tole. Ho avuto il feedback e sono stato dato un'altra stanza 325. Era meglio, ma la pulizia del pendello è ancora sottostandard. Dopo la seconda notte, ho controllato se potessi mettermi il bagaglio in hotel per una notte a Sheki. Il giorno dopo, tornai a controllare ancora una notte e questa è la mia ultima notte in questo paese. Quando ho chiesto alla ricezione del mio bagaglio, egli uscì dal ricevimento, andò all’angolo del lobby e mi trascinava il bagaglio. Mi è stato terrorizzato vedere tutto questo mentre non era stato correttamente sgombrato in una sala mercantile, ma spinto in un angolo del lobby dell'hotel all'aperto, dove c'è un sacco di traffico. Quando mi ha chiesto il personale perché questo era così, non ha risposto e mi ha guardato ******ic. Quando sono arrivato da Tbilisi ho incontrato tentato di rubare dall'aeroporto di Tbilisi e ora questo. Questo è troppo stress per una vacanza. La ragione per scegliere questo hotel è perché sono vicini alla vecchia città e hanno un ascensore. Trova altrove non hanno alcuna considerazione per la proprietà della gente.

Hotel confortevole, buona posizione. Le camere sono pulite, le camere sono spaziose. personale gentile. Un delizioso colazione ma non molto diversa. Le camere mancano di luce come massimali molto alti e lampade su una piazza simile)

A quel tempo, l'hotel e Trip.com non erano in anticipo, e era molto inconveniente quando arrivavano all'hotel.Il rumore sottostante era anche molto grande.Ma il letto e la testa dell'hotel erano molto comodi e il servizio era buono.Il ristorante all'hotel era anche buono.
