The Elbhotel lies just next to the Elbe and the ferry on the "tourist" side of Bad Schandau. It's a neat and tidy hotel. Our room was spatious. The staff was friendly. There's a restaurant, which is easy to book if you arrive a bit later. We also had a nice breakfast there. All in all a good stay.

well were to start, it's a very nice hotel, nice welcome at the reception, good bed and always clean. Breakfast was top, evening meal very good, the service is also very good, real top for me this hotel

The fact that I stayed in this hotel was in fact an accident: I had intended to stay in the neighboring Elbresidenz, and the heavy prices seemed quite right. I ended up in this mediocre hotel. It is an ok place. But expect no flying colors. Generally, I like when things work and when smart people have made up a good concept. This is not such a hotel. It looks as if being refurbished in the 80ies (but knowing the history I know this cannot be right). Things are complicated: The checkin, the checkout. I could hardly enter when I arrived after 10 pm and could hardly leave before 6am. When I asked when the boats would go I got limited information. Taxis have been impossible to bet. The hotel is surely not optimized for business travel. It may work for people leisurely spending a couple of quiet days there.

Besser genau aufpasen was man in einer Rerervierungsbestätigung stehen hat, es werden Hauptsaisonpreise auch in der Nebensaison durch berechnet. Freundlichkeit wird sparsam verwendet. Frühstück Standard. Auswahl sehr überschaubar, tägl. Wechsel zw. Lachs und Mozzarella als Highlight. Abendessen gut soweit, allerdings Hochpreisig. Hirschsteak war durchgebraten. Wenig und t.w. schlecht informiertes Personal, daher langes Warten sowohl beim Nachfüllen morgens als auch beim Bedienen Abends. Saunabereich schön, aber mini und dadurch hoffnungslos überlaufen. Bademäntel nur gegen Gebühr. Würden wegen nicht kullantem Verhalten an Rezeption def. anderes Hotel nehmen beim nächsten Mal.

Wir waren sehr begeistert! Man sitzt sehr schön mit Blick auf die Elbe, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super, das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Limonaden waren wirklich richtig gut! Die Kellnerinnen waren sehr freundlich! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Hotel liegt in erster Reihe an der Elbe, von der neu gestalteten schönen Terrasse des Hotels hat man einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Das Hotel ist mit seinen Holzmöbeln und der Deko sicher eher ein traditionelleres denn ein modernes Hotel. Es hat jedoch unstreitbar seine Vorteile! Selten zuvor hatte ich in einem Hotel ein so großes Badezimmer mit Doppelwaschbecken, Wanne, Toilette und Bidet, das Bad ist fast so groß wie das Hotelzimmer, das ist Luxus pur. Noch luxuriöser: es hat sogar ein großes Fenster. Mit einem Wermutstropfen: das Fenster ist wellenförmig mit Milchglas versehen, die offenen Flächen sind am Abend und bei Beleuchtung wirklich nicht optimal. Es wird sicher auch Menschen geben, die es nicht stört, mir wöre eine durchgehende Beschichtung lieber. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit ausreichend Auswahl. Auch die Abendkarte war saisonal und gut, die Qualität der Speisen hochwertig. Das Personal war durchgehend zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es gibt zudem einen Wellnessbereich, den ich jedoch nicht genutzt habe.

Alles sehr ordentlich und sauber, die Angestellten zuvorkommend und höflich. Die Zimmer hell, freundlich und modern eingerichtet. An der Hotelbar kann man abends in Ruhe noch ein Getränk nehmen. Die Parkplatz für 2 Euro ist sehr moderat.

das hotel präsentiert sich im stil 90er-jahre, wurde aber in den letzten jahren renoviert – alles ist sehr sauber und alles funktioniert. das bad in unserem zimmer war modern und das WLAN sehr schnell. die 3-sterne bewertung ist realistisch, das P/L-verhältnis stimmt und die lage ist relativ ruhig. das frühstücksbuffet ist gut und entspricht deutschen gepflogenheiten. freundlicher service. wir hatten ein zimmer mit blick zu stadt und fühlten uns vom geringen, in der entfernung zu hörenden strassenverkehr nicht gestört. das hotelrestaurant können wir nicht bewerten, da wir dort nicht eingekehrt sind.

Tolles Hotel, mit freundlichem Personal, wir hatten eine Juniorsuite im Dachstock. Diese war toll, jedoch im Sommer sicher sehr warm, da es keine Klimaanlage hatte. Die Sauberkeit ist top und das Frühstück sehr ausgiebig. Die Hoteleigenen Tourenfahrräder sind für kurze Ausflüge geeignet. Was man als Touristen wissen sollte ist, dass die ganze Nacht Güterzüge an der Elbe fahren, was mich sehr störte. Dafür kann das Hotel jedoch nichts. Die Toscana Therme gerade nebenan ist sehr zu empfehlen!
