Business Inn

We chose Business Inn after a thorough search, and it paid off, in a grand manner! My wife was content with the hotel we stayed in during our last visit to Bacolod in December 2023, but my daughter said for us to try Business Inn because of 7/11, across the street; an A**; it's right smack on a major street where Grab cars ( works like a taxi, but invariably new 5-seater and 7-seater cars); there's parking ( in case we opt to rent a car (P1,200 24 hours 200 km max). And, it's a short walking distance to St Sebastian Cathedral. We tried to anticipate everything. Business Inn exceeded our expectations, even my wife's who asked to see the room before we paid for the entire four-day stay. My wife used to work as supervisor in a pricey hotel, and knows how and what to check for- bidet, duvet, the linen, water pressure, the floor, the drawers, the mirrors. She even ran a finger on surfaces to check for dust. Dust-free everything. The staff was thoroughly professional and solicitous to our needs- from the front desk personnel, to the waiters, to the door guard! ( He not only opened the door with a smile, but greeted us, opened Grab car doors for us, and even had an umbrella ready for us!) The service was quick and professional - the extra bed we requested was set up in a few minutes. The floor throughout the hotel was shiny clean! The breakfast was good. The aircon works perfectly. I'd recommend Business Inn to anyone. It's not a new hotel, but, for the price, it's an excellent choice. We stayed April 25 to 29, 2024.

I am writing this review to express my disappoin**ent and frustration regarding the state of the hotel room that I was provided with. As a paying guest, I expected a certain level of cleanliness and hygiene, which unfortunately was not met. Upon entering the room, I noticed several hairs along with smudges of makeup on the bedding. It was immediately evident that the room had not been cleaned thoroughly, if at all, before my arrival. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable and made me feel highly uncomfortable and disappointed. I immediately reported the matter to the front desk lady and they sent someone to replace the bedding and pillowcases. I also requested to be transferred to a different room and I even showed her the photos (cobwebs, clumps of hair, accumulated dirt, etc) of the room for her to understand my frustration but she reasoned out that the hotel is fully booked and there were no other rooms available for me to transfer to. She then told me "feedback-kan lang namon sir ang housekeeping (We'll just provide your feedback to the housekeeping depar**ent)". I left the hotel to attend a meeting and when I arrived back in the hotel room, it was exactly in the same state as when I left. I completely understand that the hotel is already aged but poor hygiene is never and will never be an excuse. (Please see attached photo for your reference.) As a result of my experience, I have no choice but to report this incident to the city health office. It is unacceptable that a hotel could allow such poor hygiene conditions to exist, and I believe that it is necessary for the appropriate authorities to investigate any possible violation of the sanitation code of the Philippines. The health and well-being of your guests should be a top priority, and it is unacceptable that these basic standards were not met by your hotel.

Booked a room for 2 nights, I even upgraded my room because I thought it would provide added comfort and convenience. However to my surprise: - Room is not clean. (There are accumulated dirt and clumps of hair) - There are hair strands and makeup smudges on the bed. - Spider webs on lamp lights. - Lights/power goes on and off. - No elevators. I have to walk VERY far to and from my room considering my health condition. - I asked if I can have someone deliver my food to my room but according to the front desk lady, I will have to pick it up from the lobby myself because they only have one staff that is currently on duty (understaffed). I will never stay here ever again.
