The supposed ´hostess´has no clue as to what the hospitality industry is about. She wouldn't even tell me her name but she was the only person on property. This doesn't even classify as a hotel - no proper restaurant (you can have breakfast from 8.30am to 10.30am; lunch only if you let her know what you want before 2pm; no dinner whatsoever). The ´hostess´is extremely rigid and unaccommodating, she will not do anything she doesn't have to and will give you attitude if you ask for anything at all. As if you're offending her. I was completely puzzled at her, wondering if she was joking, but turns out she's that way (I guess she hates her job??). They call it a 5-star hotel but it's more like an airbnb where you need to ask for things (although airbnb hosts are super nice usually). The call it a boutique hotel - and have no idea what this means, The wifi is horrible. A lot of the plants on the property are not well-taken care of and they block the view of the lagoon....if they took proper care, the view would improve so much. They are understaffed (I guess they might go out of business soon if they give this treatment to guests expecting 5-star treatment). The woman is completely rude and disrespectful when you ask her for anything and she'll do things like knock at you room and wake you up from naps for no good reason; she's completely unapologetic and not accommodating at all. I was the only guest on property and she was offended when I asked for anything. I don't think I have work to describe her attitude. It was truly unpleasant.
