We have been to aiya napa previously so knew the area. We had looked at The Anonymous Hotel and discounted it because it looked quite basic and the rooms were too small for our needs. Running out of time ahead of resuming work and college for our 17 year old son we selected The Anonymous with the view of how bad can it be, previous reviews had commented how clean it was and the beds were comfy - basic needs met! We booked with jet2 holidays and arrived at the hotel quite late at night and the hotel was deserted. Check in was smooth and our room was on the first floor directly above reception. A single chair bed was made up, however was missing pillows but a quick trip to reception and a pillow was bought to the room. Tea and coffee facilities etc provided however only for 2 people and of course we were 3. There was a fridge that was empty - a nice touch would have been some water provided but a quick trip to a local supermarket sorted that. As we were directly above reception you could constantly here music in the room, the initial assumption was that it came from a neighbouring hotel and it took a couple of days to realise it was from the speakers in the ceiling. I had earplugs with me - this would have severely impacted my sleep if I hadn't. The beds were very comfortable, air conditioning was adequate - I would say that the a/c was poor throughout the hotel and felt for the staff throughout the relentless heat. We echo previous comments about the shower system - water spreads throughout the bathroom as the shower tray is so shallow - if a bathroom refurb is planned definitely invest in decent shower trays! We became quite adept at creating a dam with a hand towel! We stayed for 6 nights and our room was serviced with fresh towels every day. We don't always make breakfast, but the Anonymous Hotel put on a fabulous breakfast offering. The hot breakfast selection was amazing with the dishes refreshed frequently - small dishes used so that hot food never sat there for too long without being replenished. Great selection of cereals, fruit, patisserie etc and fresh Orange juice available 3/4 times a week. The restaurant team were constantly moving round the restaurant clearing tables so you never had dirty plates in front of you and during the busy times you would not have had to wait long for a table. The pool was a good size, plenty of sun beds that were comfortable. We hired a pool towel at 5€ each which was returned when we checked out and handed back. Also plenty of umbrella's if needed. Sunny beach is literally a 5 minute walk out of the hotel with sun loungers and umbrellas to hire at 2.50€ each - the beach was incredibly clean with a lifeguard station. There are also water sports available at a very reasonable cost. Showers to rinse off the sand and we were back at the hotel. We generally had lunch at the hotel and the choice was excellent. We couldn't fault the food at all. A good selection of drinks and cocktails. The h
