Icona Avalon

We would like to thank the Icona Avalon for making our birthday celebrations so special. We especially enjoyed the complimentary champagne. Very thoughtful!!!! I have to mention the comfortable bed. I truly appreciated getting a good night's sleep. Our room was immaculate. The cleaning staff does an outstanding job.! We especially want to give a special thank you to Sue Ryan and Michelle at the Pub. These ladies took extra special care of us for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the front desk were friendly, professional and very accommodating. We especially enjoy talking with Lisa. Please contact us with any upcoming specials. A beautiful, well-maintained facility with a friendly, courteous and highly professional staff. Our room was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Brew Pub and the pool. We look forward to staying there again and recommend it highly to anyone looking to visit to Avalon.

This resort hotel is consistently awesome year after year. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the warm and friendly reception staff. The amazing scent present in the lobby is always something I also look forward to! The rooms, halls and elevators are very clean and have an elevated feel. Fluffy linens and robes add to my vacation joy as well! Our room was very comfortable and the toiletries provided are very nice! I put my redkin to the side and used the hotel products! Love the spf lip balm so much too! It’s the little things that make a difference! The pool and beach are also phenomenal. Towel, lounge and umbrella service are provided and honestly this makes the stay here so worth while. No need to pack beach towels or deal with the sand or wet towels in your room! The live music and outdoor bar/ eating area give this hotel a tropical feel as well. Love the quick and friendly service to the pool area as well. This hotel has a knack for making you feel special and do what they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable! They even have a little cooler in the lobby with ice cream and cold snacks! Check out is a breeze and we actually were allowed to stay at the hotel after the check out and enjoyed the pool for a little while before heading home. We take every opportunity to go back to this hotel when we have a few days to rest! This is a fun property and you’ll have no choice but to enjoy the amenities and enjoy your time off with friends and family!

We had such an amazing time away to the ICONA Avalon, from the comfort of our room, to the cleanliness of the resort and all the friendly staff, it made us truly feel like we were visiting family. When we got our morning coffee we were greeted by the friendly and engaging Pasquale, he asked us where we were coming from and we said right outside of Philly, that started a great conversation about living and being Philly sports fans. The next morning he remembered us and asked how our stay was going which made it hard to leave. This is the type of place/hospitable environment that we love to stay at. All the workers clearly treat you like family and make you want to book again.!

I have enjoyed this Hotel for the past 4 -5 years. Very upscale on the Beach. Of particular note is that I am an early morning coffee drinker. The Barista, Pasquale is a remarkable person to meet up with upon placing my beverage order. Full of life and part of the culture of Icona, Pasqualie can make your day a bit better. I look forward to my visit next September.

My wife and I just got back from our stay. We decided to splurge for our 40th wedding anniversary and go to a ocean front resort . When we arrived we were greeted with very nice staff at check in. They took special note of our anniversary with our room along with a cold bottle of Champlain waiting for us. Everything at this resort is comfortable and clean . There are many hotels to stay at in the area but only one resort . If you like being pampered sitting at the pool with drinks and food or a quick walk on the beach this is the only place to go. THIS IS A FIVE STAR HOTEL/RESORT

As we were checking out, the two friendly, polite and professional front desk people asked how our stay went and was there anything they could do to improve . . . My wife and I looked at each other and could not think of one thing. Our five day vacation was perfect - everything went smoothly and our stay was relaxing. We drive seven hours to stay here and will book again in 2025!

My boyfriend and I just returned from the Icona Avalon. The hotel is terrific! The staff is very friendly, especially Pasquale at Shimmers Bistro. it’s only a very short walk to the beach. The rooms are very clean and well kept. I recommend the Sandbar and Avalon Brew Pub which are both located in the hotel as well.

The best coffee ☕️ before 7:30 am is in the lobby of the Icona. Mr Pasquale run the Starbucks kiosk. He is a pleasure to meet and talk to. I'm staying at the Windrift and it worth the short walk over to get my morning cup. If you're like me and don't want to make you own. They do have a Keurig in the room with a house bend.
