Awesome stay, We stayed there 2 nights 2 adults and 2 children stayed there, The place was clean smelled nice. Awesome furnishings. There were other quest in the place but you would not know. The stay is a different set up where the place was like homestay in bulit up area other homes around. The streets and homes are clean tidy and quiet. We shared lovely kitchen and if you are upstairs we had out own little area to make coffee and tea and a lounge to relax. We planned activities in Auckland for our time there, and it was nice get back to a comfortable room and home. I would recommend the stay to others and would stay again Thankyou. Our children loved the place. I gave 3 for location it is in built up area and 3 for service, we saw no one during out time there had to ring for help. but the line was busy. Still ok place to stay.

Having to come to Auckland after the sudden death of my father we were pleased to be able to book our first night at the Quest, but disappointed we couldn’t stay for the duration of our visit. Again superb service on arrival which was again surpassed after lunch. Arriving back at the hotel , Atek the duty manager advised us that due to a cancellation and changes made by the staff we could in fact stay at the Quest for our time here. Atek your empathy, efficiency and caring made a difficult situation so much better. The Quest Hotel is indeed fortunate to have you as an employee and you will always be remembered by us for your caring and genuine understanding. The word has been spread around my family and friends. Well done Atek and the Quest. Again nothing but superb service and accommodation. Thank you. Mike and Kay Legge. May 09 2022.

Il 5 febbraio 2023 sono rimasto in casa, a Auckland per lavoro. Il processo di check-in è stato facile, la stanza è stata nuova, pulita e piacevole Ma al 12.30am mi sono svegliato per qualcuno che cercava di entrare nella mia stanza. Pensavo che avessero la stanza sbagliata e avrebbero capito, ma poi ho sentito la chiave andare e la porta si apriva, quando ho saltato fuori dal letto e ho fermato la persona da passare, e lui era li' con una chiave nella mano e un sacchetto. Ha detto che pensava che la stanza fosse vuota !!! La mattina guardai la porta e non c'era nulla sulla porta che una chiave potesse essere inserita. Era aperta con una carta. La risposta che ho ricevuto non era abbastanza buona e mi è stato detto che c'era un portatore notturno. Non ho visto un portatore notturno sulla proprietà Se un uomo può accedere alla mia stanza in mezzo alla notte, allora significa che io e i miei beni non erano al sicuro in questa proprietà, li ho inviati un follow-up e-mail la settimana scorsa e non ho sentito niente da loro

Half Moon Bay Marina Motel is a pleasant experience exceeding our expectations. We and our dog were welcomed with open arms. The rooms are spacious, including kitchen, tidy and well maintained. Good price for our 4 day stay - we will return whenever we are in Auckland. Thank you for making our short holiday that little more relaxed. Especially being able to stroll a short distance to the Marina Fresh Choice for fresh espresso and pastries.

We stayed here for a couple of weeks and it suited us well as an apart’hotel. It was pleasantly spacious and had all the equipment needed for preparing meals: fridge/freezer, a 4 ring hob, cooker, microwave, utensils, crockery, cutlery. There’s also a washing machine and tumble dryer, laundry rack, iron and ironing board (but you shouldn’t put the laundry rack on the terrace). Its location, 5 minutes walk across from the Botany shopping centre (and bus interchange), is great if you don’t have a car, but there’s also a dedicated parking place (and we were able to plug in our EV through the window). The swimming pool was nice as we were there during a hot spell, but unfortunately it wasn’t open some days because of technical issues. The complex also has a gym, tennis court and barbecue and playground: basically it covers every wish for short or long term residents – and compared to other accommodation in Auckland it wasn’t crazily expensive compared to other places for the dates we booked. I appreciated the comfortable king size bed. The manageress was very friendly and helpful with a few little issues we had.
