Hotel in zona Auckland Town Hall, Auckland

Purtroppo ci sono molte opere stradali intorno all'hotel, quindi è difficile per gli autobus entrare soprattutto. Tuttavia, non lasciate che questo vi metta fuori. Ha una posizione fantastica, proprio oltre la strada Sky Tower, per non perdere mai, un concierge amichevole e conosciuto e un piccolo negozio con alcuni buoni souvenir. Le colazioni sono state, a mio avviso, le migliori che abbia mai avuto in viaggio - e sono stato in molti hotel in molti luoghi negli anni! Grande selezione, ben presentata, perfettamente cucinata e i pancake più dolci del mondo!

The hotel is in a very good location, which is near the sky tower where you can take the air bus to or from Auckland airport. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near by. The room is clean and with all that we need. The breakfast is very good, especially the croissant😋

This is definitely the best hotel with top service in Auckland. We were on a group tour and stayed in several hotels all over the country, Horizon stood out as the most accommodating, comfortable, and friendly. It's just a few minutes walk from Weta, the neighborhood is clean, modern and convenient, surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants. I carelessly left my spare phone in a hotel in Wellington, and I am super grateful that the Concierge at Horizon went out of their way to help get it back... (it was a slightly complicated situation as I left New Zealand before the phone reached Horizon).

TLDR: no aircon, constant power cuts, paper thin walls.. Where do I start. First off there’s no aircon so the rooms are hot and uncomfortable. There are ducted low speed fans which don’t do much. But the biggest problem is the fact the rooms are on what I believe to be motion sensors or some kind of timers so ALL power turns off every 25 seconds, this is not an exaggeration. This includes the lights, jug, the fan - everything. I stubbed my toes in the dark because the lights turned off while I was walking around, and they wouldn’t turn back on. Showering in the dark due the lights constantly on and off. Good luck making a coffee, showering, watching TV or anything without that being interrupted by constant power cuts which drive you mad. I booked the small room. They look small in the photos but even smaller in person and I felt like I was suffocating, the rooms are tiny so heat up like crazy. The smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. Also the walls are paper thin so I could hear my neighbours conversations word for word.. even with ear plugs. If there was air con and sound proof walls, I could have put up with the extremely small space. Terrible experience. Don’t even bother with this place. The Abstract had a lot of potential as they have decorated it very nicely but they have let themselves down. It is also in a dangerous area of Auckland central so you will want to make sure you are back in your room by dark, lots of drunk homeless people around. After my first night of zero sleep due to the heat, stuffiness and neighbours chatting, I complained and had my room kindly upgraded to a larger one, but the same issues remained of constant power cuts and no air con in that room too. At least it was a bit cooler due to being larger and an extra window, also had no neighbours.. The customer service was pretty good. There is no parking on site so you have to park in a carpark building across the road. The food in the restaurant was average but has a beautiful outdoor dining area which was the highlight.

Sono in Amore! Benvenuto, Boutiquey. Sono andato via per una notte dai miei ragazzi mi sentiva come se avessi una settimana in un bagno. Il personale era attento e gentile senza essere rigido collo. Il servizio in camera dal menu di notte restritto era DELICIOUS e il colazione in casa era una selezione perfetta di uova o di continente leggero. Il fuoco aperto era caldo e invitato da un cameriere, ma mi sentivo davvero come se potessi mettere un registro se avessi fatto la cosa, la mia stanza aveva una vista sul traghetto della città che arrivava in un giorno di giornata. Li ho visti felicemente dal mio letto, con la mia selezione di cuscini e il cotone e il telaio morbido. Tornerò presto di più che mi aspettavo e chiederò la stessa stanza. Un grande esempio di ciò che la nostra città deve offrire. Mi ha fatto orgogliare di essere una JAFFA!

OK, it's a great hotel, excellent rooms, supplies, service, nothing wrong there. I only have two complaints, and it starts with their breakfast lounge Advieh. Excellent food, indeed beautiful, but it does not require loud music. People are there for breakfast, not for loud music, which is obviously only for the staff, not for customers. Make it more welcoming please. And the other problem is the access if you're driving. There is valet parking, but the area is very inconspicuous and it will be invariably occupied by taxis, often in two or three rows. The unadvised driver will not be able to stop, or drive in, unless you want to stop all traffic behind you as you wait for the taxis to move out. So do not try to turn left and drive around again, as traffic directions will take you all over the North Island before you make it back to the hotel. Just carry on on the same street for another block and you will drive around this massive car park, overnight cheaper than the hotel valet ($40, as opposed to $80 at the hotel) and you can comfortably walk to the hotel directly through a covered pedestrian walkway above the street. But if you do want to use the valet service at the hotel front, do stop by the taxis, honk like crazy and they will slowly move away to allow your car through - remember, that is your spot, not theirs. But I honestly advise anyone to use Uber to get to this hotel, and not drive in.

This hotel was recommended by my friend who used to work here. I requested a high floor and it was granted so the room’s view of the harbor is 🤩 (12th floor Social King Room). It’s the first time that a radio was turned on as I entered the room. I even thought my next room neighbor’s music was that loud. I didn’t expect it that you can slide the door from the toilet so you can have a full view of the harbour. I liked the room very much. Thankful that I was allowed to check in early. Appreciate it a lot! I intentionally left my puffy jacket and left a note about it. Whoever owns it now, please take care of it. I’ll be back when I go back to Auckland. Nice city and harbor view from the room. Staff are friendly with excellent service. Walkable distance to the britomart station, close to city center and viaduct harbor

Così pulito, comodo, bellissimo e pieno di verdure con un giardino e un po' di fontana. Buono valore e una piacevole sorpresa! Mi sento come un piacevole soggiorno in campagna, ma con buon letto, cuscini e servizio.
