Incredible hotel and service! Can’t wait to repeat and stay here again. Only issue is its not fully sound proof

This hotel's design is unique and interesting, a really nice aesthetic experience. The location is about a 5 minute walk to the metro, it has a lovely rooftop bar with good drinks and a great Athens view. The rooms are comfy. The breakfast is delicious and authentically Greek. But the best thing is the staff! So incredibly helpful, sweet, and eager to help guests. It feels like they really like their jobs. They went above and beyond for me, separating a bed, booking me a tour, getting us taxis. They made it a great stay. Thanks especially to Ian and Zoe! You two made our stay so pleasant.

What a find this was! Modern but luxurious with such attention to detail from arrival through to housekeeping, you couldn't fault the service. We upgraded our room and glad we did as we had a large comfy bed, choice of pillows and a little balcony. Everything in the room was high quality and little touches like tooth brushes and paste were unusual for the star rating of the hotel. The roof garden is a treat with genuine view of the acropolis which is lit up at night. There's a funky phone on the roof so you can order your drinks and some light food options which are promptly delivered. Great view across Athens and away from the traffic chaos. Hotel is very near to metro station and one or two stops takes you to Central sights and its very cheap and efficient travel. Its near the National Gallery and a main road but less busy than most areas of Athens and is on the 'hop on/off bus' route. The breakfast is fabulous with great service and quality ingredients in the buffet, with fresh cooked eggs options if you want it. We loved everything about this hotel it and highly recommend.

The Modernist Athens is an excellent place to stay when visiting Athens. It is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Athens. It is centrally located to get to many of the major attractions. The hotel staff provided wonderful service. Ian at the front desk was very helpful and always checked to see if there was anything that we needed. Our rooms were always cleaned when we left our rooms for the day. The kitchen staff were also always willing to get us anything we needed. As many have said before, the breakfast is incredible. The quality of the food and the variety is amazing considering the space is not that large! They had more options than places I have been that were 2-3 times their size. We also enjoyed their rooftop view/bar after a long day of touring. If I am back in Athens in the future, there is only one place that I will stay - The Modernist.

The Modernist Athens is great hotel to stay at when visiting Athens. It is centrally located in one of the best neighborhoods in Athens, away from over-crowded tourist areas, and walking distance to nice restaurants and bars. The hotel staff provided amazing service. They brought me extra water bottles to my room when needed, did a good job cleaning my room, remembered my breakfast order, and were always friendly. Zoi at the front desk was especially great. I also really enjoyed the gym and rooftop view/bar. I really can't think of anything negative about my experience.

We found this hotel to be perfect for our family if 5. A large double bedroom with a single bed and then an adjoining twin bedroom. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept very well all 4 nights that we were there. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything was clean. The breakfast (included) was a wonderful buffet complemented by some a la carte choices (e.g. stacked pancakes). We all loved the selection. Cocktails and dinner on the roof terrace was wonderful on our first night. Not a great selection of food for fussy children, but had it just been us adults we would have eaten dinner there more than once as the food was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again if visiting Athens.

What a fantastic hotel!I enjoyed every minute of my staying there.Classy,elegant,clean and very modern rooms.But the great advantage of this hotel was the roof top bar.Fascinating view of the beautiful Athens,great quality drinks and food.And the in charge person of the bar Marios was a great professional,very polite and friendly with deep knowledge of the menu and the drink suggestions as also with his recommendations with places and sights that I could visit during my staying in Athens.
