Sono stati a questo hotel diverse volte e purtroppo invecchia troppo velocemente ... capsule economiche sostituite Nespresso, i bagni mostrano la loro età, i jacuzzi nella piscina solo parzialmente funzionanti, la fuga di doccia, ecc. l'hotel è completamente funzionale, ma un riparazione sarebbe utile. Evitare le camere di pavimento! Troppo piccole per adattarsi a una sedia (non c'è nessuna) e hanno gravi problemi con ventilazione e mold. E queste camere non sono gratis ... colazione restano decente, ma per un prossimo soggiorno cercherò un posto diverso.

I travel a lot, and I know many 4* hotels that are much better than this 5*, the service and facilities do not match the 5*, I was really disappointed. + a great view of the whole Athens (if you pay for it) + always a perfectly tidy room, everything added + a bottle of water in the room every day + a small pool on the roof with a great view + upon request, they changed my pillow that was too high for a more comfortable one - rooms and bathroom quite small (even in the extra room) - only instant coffee in the room, today's modern hotels already have capsule coffee machines everywhere, minibar only by order - the hotel is on a steep, long hill, physically demanding, especially with luggage - breakfast suitable for a 3* hotel, I haven't seen such a small selection for a long time - the luxury hotel restaurant was a big disappointment, although the view was great, but even though I had reserved a table (if you book the table online, they want from you 40 Eur for reservation, this is joke?) and I booked surprise for my husband, because it was his birthday that day, the table was not set at all, let alone ceremonially (they set it up before us and unprofessionally) and no candle in the cake either, I was really furious, they ruined my whole evening. The meat instead of medium was well-done for both dishes, my boiled vegetables and potatoes were completely cold and tasteless. For this money! I can't believe a Michelin chef cooks here.

I loved Divani Caravel. The location has always been my favorite, the rooms were nice, some of them facing the Syggros hospital a bit dark but not something unbearable, the ones facing kolonali, excellent. The breakfast is the absolute highlight, one of the best I had. The gym another highlight, I enjoyed it every day. About the staff: 90% of the receptionists were amazing, there were a couple of senior guys at the reception, especially late at night that were kind of fed up with serving so they would put the least effort and from the housekeeping, some of the people were too persistent and at times rude, all depending on the person you deal with, again, 90% of them super friendly. The guys from restaurant in general very good. On other negative comments, the key card any time it touched my phone would be deactivated so I had to go to the reception every few hours to fix that. Overall I give a five star, the good things clearly outweigh the few grey spots. And sure I am returning

Ricevere dettagli e spiegazioni dei piatti in ottimo inglese (personale greco), presa degli ordini a mente senza una penna o peggio un mobile device e ricordarsi 4 differenti portate ognuna con una particolare modifica, è di alta professionalità. I piatti davvero eccezionali, per affermarlo da italiano ben abituato è davvero raro. I dolci … un incanto!

Si tratta di uno dei migliori hotel di Atene con una lunga storia, splendide decorazioni e una meticolosa manutenzione. La posizione è situata in Piazza Syntagma, nel centro della città, il che rende facile raggiungere a piedi le varie attrazioni della città.Il ristorante con giardino sul tetto è il luogo ideale per gustare il cibo delizioso e lo splendido scenario dell'Acropoli. Purtroppo la camera assegnataci si trovava di fronte alla Cigar Lounge al piano inferiore. Con il passare del tempo un forte odore di fumo era penetrato nella biancheria da letto della stanza. Non potevamo sopportarlo. Abbiamo chiamato la reception e è stata mandata solo una signora alla scena. Lei ha risposto immediatamente dopo aver capito la situazione. Abbiamo aspettato pazientemente e non abbiamo sentito nulla. Un'ora dopo, abbiamo chiamato la reception e abbiamo chiesto di cambiare camera. Poi un'altra persona ha chiesto perché non ci avete detto che era solo una donna delle pulizie. Non sapevamo davvero chi fosse, sapevamo solo che era lei la persona inviata per risolvere il problema, ma dopo aver aspettato un'altra ora, la reception non ha mandato più nessuno, quindi abbiamo dovuto contattare Ctrip. Dieci minuti più tardi, la reception ha chiamato e ha accettato di aggiornare la stanza. Inoltre, la nuova camera con vista sulla strada ha aria fresca, ma l'isolamento acustico non è buono e il rumore delle auto è rumoroso tutta la notte.

La mia famiglia ed io abbiamo soggiornato cinque giorni in questo hotel, nel mese di agosto. Struttura elegante e raffinata in ogni ambiente comune con un unico difetto: l’aria condizionata gelida. Camere, noi avevamo due camere comunicanti,ampie,spaziose, arredate elegantemente, molto pulite con ampi bagni,ottime spugne e letti comodissimi. La colazione viene servita nel ristorante con terrazza vista acropoli ed è ricca di ogni prelibatezza. Il ristorante buono. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile.

I traveled here with my sister and adult daughter for a short stay before a cruise. The location is amazing. Hotel is located in a quiet area not far from Acropolis Musem and hop on/off bus stop is 2 blocks away. We had a lovely view of acropolis from our balcony, and I had mentioned it was my daughter's birthday, so we were given a nice fruit basket with other goodies to celebrate. There are a few restaurants nearby and a bakery which has excellent sandwiches. The included breakfast was very filling and offered eggs, sausages, several varieties of breads and rolls, fruit, awesome yoghurt, spanakopita, cereal, juice, and numerous baked goods. The room was very clean and had some storage and a mini fridge. There is a rooftop deck, but the stairs are very narrow. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with offering advice on things to see and giving great directions. The area is very safe and the hotel provides maps and access to guidebooks in their lobby. I would stay here again.

Non sembra un 5 stelle dai servizi che offre. In ogni caso, la vista dalla terrazza all’ottavo piano è la sua forza. Dalla piscina non si vede l’acropoli, che invece è possibile ammirare da un altro punto più alto della terrazza. La piscina è bella, ma purtroppo è sacrificata dalle transenne che la circondano; probabilmente per non fare entrare più gente nello stesso momento. Il servizio in piscina è stato scarso: l’addetto faceva il suo lavoro probabilmente controvoglia; non era gentile e solerte, ma al contrario quasi annoiato dalle richieste legittime e minime dei clienti. Per portare un menu ci metteva mezz’ora, per dire. Peccato, perché il cibo era buonissimo; il ristorante che ospita l’hotel è veramente ottimo e consiglio di pranzare o cenare lì. Il personale della reception è stato gentile e ci hanno offerto un upgrade gratuito della camera. Devo segnalare che il frigo piangeva! Non c’era nemmeno un piccolo snack, e il rifornimento d’acqua non c’era ( dovevi tu chiamare ). Non c’erano gli accappatoi, solo asciugamani. La colazione non è male, c’è molta varietà di scelta. Forse l’hotel è un tantino lontano dal quartiere più turistico (piazza Monastiraki ), ci vuole almeno una mezz’ora a piedi.

When you require … optimal comfort … in every way! 1) Breakfast: seriously scrumptious! Huge selection. Full or skim Greek yoghurt. (Best I’ve ever tasted. With honey from their farm). Any kind of coffee. Cappuccino was delishious. Any kind of eggs you with with cheese, ham, bacon, etc. Nuts, cereals, huge raisins. Cakes, brownies, Greek pastries!!! I could go on… it exceeded my expectations. 2) Staff: Oh my goodness. I just got off a six star ship and was treated well. The staff here match that! The hospitality is perfect. Above perfect. 3) Comfort: The bed, shower, hair dryer, lighting, AC (room controlled)… perfection! 4) Location: I did a lot of research. This is the best area to stay in. I walked to the Benaki, then walked to the Acropolis Museum (skip it!!! And do not walk to the top!!) Then took a cab to the National Archeological Museum. Not to be missed. The finest museum I have ever seen. I should have allowed all day for this one Museum. 5) Restaurants: Close by are authentic Greek restaurants. The front desk recommended one just around the corner and it had fantastic charm and food.

I sadly only had one night at this beautiful hotel and cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly and efficient checkin staff who informed me I was given a complimentary upgrade to a suite! When I arrived to my room I was blown away by how beautiful it was aesthetically and there’s even a jacuzzi on the patio which I took full advantage of! I came downstairs to the lobby for their complimentary wine tasting and sampled some amazing Greek wines. From there I went to the rooftop and watched the sunset while sipping on an aperol spritz. After a long travel day I chose to order room service and the Greek salad I had was fantastic. I poured some wine and got in the jacuzzi and it honestly was the most perfect day. I’m so sad I was only at The Modernist for such a short stay but most definitely will make it my home away from home next time in Athens. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for such an amazing stay.

Dopo un po' di stress a Atene, siamo stati felici di incontrare questo piccolo hotel per abbassare le nostre teste per la notte. Purtroppo, siamo stati vittime di pickpockets che rubavano i nostri telefoni, le carte bancarie e un passaporto. La polizia greca non era d'aiuto. Abbiamo trovato poche persone che ci hanno fatto sentire benvenuti, così è stato bello essere accolti con un sorriso a Zappion. Non avevamo prenotato più e ci avevamo appena camminato fuori dalla strada, ma siamo stati alloggiati indipendentemente. Prima di questo, abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel Stanley, che era molto più costoso e nonostante essere un hotel fantastico, era in una zona di rumore con traffico occupato e i notori piccoli bagagli. Zappion è pulito, vicino ai siti e in una tranquilla strada con tutto quello che avete bisogno durante il viaggio. Molto consigliato se si desidera ospite, pace e tranquillità e un bel colazione.

Amazing apartment with everything you need. Just 30-40 minutes walk to all the sights that Athens has to offer. The host was great, communication was top notch and very helpful. The apartment had 2 spacious bedrooms both with on suite. A full fitted kitchen with everything you need for your stay. The living are was comfy and had a little dining area. We had our own little balcony which look put over the the street below, we also had access to the roof terrace which had fantastic view and was a great place to chill. There is a little supermarket about 5mins away and a bakery which sold the most amazing cakes, pies and breads. Also round the corner is a little area filled with Bars & Restaurants so no need to go into the main tourist area every night. Would highly recommend staying at the Athens Squared Lofts/Apartments for your visit to Athens.
