A gem of a find in a quiet location in Arnside. Great hosts who have spent time attending to the details which make a stay so extra special. A very warm welcome and comfortable room, spotlessy clean, comforable bed. Fresh milk and cold water in a room fridge. Generous tea and coffee facilites, with fluffy towels and dressing gowns along with a pretty outdoor space to sit out and enjoy a glass or two on a pleasant evening. The breakfasts were very special, and beautifully cooked and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. The attention to little details were really appreciated. Lots of walks just a few minutes from the door, easy walking distance from station and near local pubs and cafes, yet quiet and relaxing. We look forward to coming back to the genuinely warm hospitality of Kentwood.

This is a gem in Arnside. Beautiful rooms with 5* quality extras. A fridge with fresh milk and bottled water , robes and slippers give Kentwood that special touch. David and Alexander are great hosts and truly care about your stay . Breakfast choices are varied and cooked to order. Take time to sit in the garden and have a view over the estuary.

Had a warm welcome from the lovely hosts Alex & David. The house is absolutely immaculate throughout with the finest of fixtures & fittings with attention to every detail. Was well impressed. Bed & bedding all top notch. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. Off street parking and close to the front, shops and restaurants. A treat to stay here and can't recommend highly enough.

An excellent Guest House! A warm friendly welcome from Alex who gave us coffee and home made short bread. Our room was tastefully decorated with little additions to the usual - wine glasses and corkscrew, kettle stand, big selection of beverages, fridge with chilled water and fresh milk etc. Upmarket bath lotions. I could go on, suffice to say we had a wonderful stay.

Stayed at Kentwood last week whilst attending the Lake District Summer Music Festival. What a hidden gem! A super little B&B which has been beautifully restored with amazing flair. You can tell the property has been carefully designed to provide modern requirements whilst still retaining an old world charm. The Three bedrooms are all differently decorated but have modern bathrooms with luxurious fitting. Beautiful bedding and great toiletries complete this high end finish. Impeccably clean and serving a wonderful breakfast I really can't recommend this place enough. Wonderful service and competitively priced it's in a great location with some stunning views. You really have made this accommodation simply perfect!

Warm welcome at Kentwood the bed room was lovely the bathroom was modern and spasious the breakfast was fabulous a very big choice and local ingredents. It was lovely to have a lounge for guests and we were also encuraged to use the garden when ever we wanted. All adding up to a lovely stay thank you

Everything you could need from a guest house. Comfortable, excellent location and a breakfast second to none. Very stylish room which was immaculate, as was en suite. When back in Arnside, we would stay again without hesitation. Arnside is a beautiful place for a couple of days, we found excellent walking trails.

We stayed for three nights over the weekend. Fantastic setting with views over the estuary. We couldn't have received a better welcome, tea and coffee and home made shortbread on arrival, A comfortable luxurious room and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Every room was tastefully decorated and luxurious. Breakfast included a good choice of cooked food , the oats and fresh fruit were amazing as were the cooked breakfast. The hosts are lovely, friendly and nothing too much trouble . They even booked us a restraunt which was fabulous. I would recommend this for a relaxing stay with great company and good food. We will definitely be back . Thank you David and Alex

We had the pleasure of staying at The Kentwood for 4 nights recently and I must say it was a lovely find. We'd not been to the area before so it was great to have hosts like Alex and David who were superb, very attentive and great with local knowledge. We stayed in the Estuary Room which was very comfy, spotlessly clean and spacious as was the en suite shower room. Lots of choice for breakfast we especially enjoyed the overnight soaked oats, fruit and yogurts along with the locally sourced cooked breakfast items. Plenty of choice for breakfast. The lounge area is good for relaxation over looking the garden and bird watching. The area has many walks and is an easy train ride over to Grange Over Sands on the other side of the Estuary. We would recommend a stay here with Alex and David, thanks Sandy and Don
