We had a bit of surprise when we arrived but staff took care of us immediately; and staff were grateful that we did not get upset. (Please remember to treat staff the way you want to be treated, WWJD?) The hotel is located in a walkable community with many restaurants, banks, and stores within a four block area; and the Metro is within one block. Staff are friendly, giving us helpful suggestions for dinner. Our room had a sitting area, which we liked. The only thing we did not like about the room was the rolling door - very noisy as it rolled on its tracks. It might need to be oiled. Our room faced another building (Wells Fargo) but we came to see the cherry blossoms so we did not spend much time in the room. The complementary breakfast was well stocked. There are the usual sausages or ham, eggs (scrambled and boiled), hash browns, ingredients to make breakfast tacos, fruit and yogurt, toast and bagels. (Would you believe they serve the food in Le Creuset casserole dishes!) Parking is underground and requires tight turns. I read the reviews before our stay and planned ahead by turning our SUV around so that we could easily pull out and head back up the way we entered the garage in case the garage was full. (This is not necessary to get out. My husband, the better driver, says I worry too much.) We would return to stay again.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui 4 anni fa ed è stata la ragione per cui abbiamo ripreso. Le cose sono cambiate. siamo rimasti per una settimana intera e al check-in non è stato detto che non c'era servizio nella stanza per tutta la settimana! abbiamo dovuto chiedere quotidianamente al desk front for towels. Non c'è nessuna scusa per questo. Il servizio di desktop frontale non è più amichevole e utile. Il servizio di caffè era ora limitato e la piscina non era aperta. nell'ultima visita dell'hotel la stessa settimana era occupato e attiva, ora desolato e semplice. Il ristorante era chiuso, solo una macchina di ghiaccio disponibile. E' davvero triste che questo hotel abbia abbassato i suoi standard.

Two best things about this hotel: LOCATION, you can walk to Pentagon; and STUF, very friendly. Those two guys at the FrontDesk are horses. The hotel it was full, lots of people in line at the lobby to do check in and they both working like crazy and fast in order to accommodate everyone ASAP. Instead to be desperate they were with best smile in they face. Congratulations for this both in special, but the entire tram are amazing.

A hidden pleasure of a hotel. I would probably not have considered this location for staying in DC and visiting the sights, but as I had meetings close by I chose to stay here. I was very pleasantly surprised by what I got, and might even stay here for a holiday trip with the family. I had an 8th-floor room which was immaculate and spacious. As was the hotel itself. The bed was super-comfortable and I slept like a log all week. The window leaked noticeably, but the AC kept the room temperature perfect. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. Fresh fruit and berries with yoghurt, cooked items, juices and coffee. All the staff members were friendly and helpful, even to a somewhat jet-lagged and a little bit unsocial foreigner. I really felt at home. The hotel is located on top of the escalators to the Ballston metro station and has indoor walkways connecting it to a nearby mall (with a Macy’s and several fast food options although I didn’t try those). Riding the metro to DC was surprisingly easy and fast too: the service (orange and silver lines) is frequent and it only took 20 minutes or so to get into the city from your room. The ticket machines took a little figuring out the first time but were really simple to use in an 80s way in the end. I took an Uber to get here from the Reagan airport, but rode the metro back out to the airport. The metro too was simple with easy access from the street level and one switch between the orange and blue lines at Rosslyn. I had a great experience, and would definitely stay here again. For business or for pleasure.

Stavo all' Rosslyn Residence Inn per due settimane, a partire da marzo, con mia figlia, quando era lì per una conferenza/formazione con il Corpo di Servizi Esteri. Il personale era eccellente e ci faceva sentire a casa ... controllare ogni giorno per vedere se avevamo bisogno di qualcosa e se ci piaceva. Ruth alla FD aveva sempre un sorriso saluto per noi, così come per la maggior parte degli altri membri del personale FD. Meaza ha gestito la nostra stanza in modo bello.Il signor George in manutenzione era anche un piacevole personaggio intorno all'hotel, mentre si occupava dei suoi compiti quotidiani. La zona è grande per camminare con alcuni eccellenti ristoranti 'altre nazioni' in giro in pochi isolati. Certamente gode di delizioso cibo per le due settimane. I monumenti a DC erano solo un giro 5-10 min dall'hotel .... direttamente sul fiume. Solo in basso è stato che la camera da letto nella suite era molto piccola .....solo abbastanza grande per il letto regina che sembrava più completo. Tuttavia, nessun problema .... sarebbe rimasto qui di nuovo
