We stayed in May 2024 in room 623. I think we got an upgrade as it was a full sea view, and we'd only paid for a partial one. As per the vast majority of other reviews, this place is amazing. The staff are simply fantastic, so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Especially at breakfast. They really make the place. Breakfast is a very large buffet of an array of choices. You really could eat something completely different everyday! We didn't eat lunch or dinner there so can't comment on those. The grounds are also fantastically well maintained, the abundance of flowers and plants was lovely. It felt like an oasis. There is another hotel being built directly in front, which our balcony faced, but we could only hear it when on the balcony. For partial sea & garden rooms you wouldn't even see it. 1 gripe that is also mentioned on some reviews is that if you have a late flight they really have no late check-out facilites. We had a full day before we flew home. Luckily another couple let us use their shower, for which we were very grateful, as all the hotel offers is to use the open air showers in the pool area and then to get dressed in the toilet in reception. They really need a proper solution to it. To get to Makris Gialos Beach (or the mini supermarkets) quickly, head out the rear of the hotel behind room 101. There's a path that takes you there, lookout for the signpost to turn right. It leads you to the beach where 2 loungers and a parasol is €15 for the day, and the bar and restaurant were great for drinks and lunch, there's also water sports there too (though we didn't use them, so can't review) . Or you can pay over double that at Costa Costa at the other end of the beach. Lassi main ***** was very good for bars and restaurants, we had lots of lovely Greek food. We normally don't eat dinner till 8:30/9 at night and that wasn't a problem. Highly recommend Argostolion for a day trip, where you can see sea turtles in the harbour. Take the 25min ferry to Lixouri too, to extend the trip.

Ci siamo stati ad inizio agosto per una settimana. Sorprendente il rapporto qualità prezzo essendo in pieno centro ad Argostoli a due minuti dal pedonale e a due minuti dal porto a piedi; vicinissimo anche alla fermata del bus per Makris Gialos. Aree comuni nuove di zecca, camere invece da rimodernare ma per la ns esperienza molto pulite e con balcone; il ns affacciava direttamente sulla piazza. Ho trovato particolarmente comodo l'armadio a muro, capientissimo. Il punteggio massimo è dovuto alla colazione, davvero favolosa, gestita praticamente in autonomia da Rosa: ogni mattina ben 2 torte fresche fatte in casa, prodotti tipici greci (miele, formaggi, salame, marmellate, creme spalmabili), più tipi di pane fresco e le squisite torte salate con feta e spinaci; ovviamente non sono mai mancate frutta e verdura, cereali e lo yogurt. Caffè e cappuccini da dispenser ma di ottima qualità. Ottimi anche i receptionist che ci hanno dato tutte le indicazioni richieste. Di certo torneremo, perché Cefalonia ti resta nel cuore. Grazie!

La camera era bella, ma solo 5 o 6 pendenti. Non abbastanza per 2 persone per una settimana. La suite era con vista panoramica e giacche all'aperto. Purtroppo non abbiamo usato il jacuzzi, perché sembrava sporco con le linee di schiuma. 2 del ricevitore erano carini e la signora che abbiamo visto a volte la sera con i capelli biondi curli. Il secchiere non era adatto per un viaggio così costoso. La cassaforte non funzionava all'arrivo, ma era ordinata con alcune nuove batterie.Il colazione era il solito gratuito per tutti con ganci che raccoglievano le loro piastre e di solito lasciavano metà di esso. Il succo è disponibile solo pochi giorni fuori dal 7. La pulizia prese la chiave della nostra stanza e quando lo interrogammo, il custode negava la chiave; poi, miracolosamente, si ripresentò dopo che un ricevitore disse che saremmo stati accusati, anche se non l'abbiamo perso in primo luogo. Le bottiglie d'acqua nel frigo erano state riempite ogni giorno e non erano. Anche i bagni dovevano essere riempiti per una suite così lussuosa. Dovremmo chiedere al ricevitore di più sapone. La cosa migliore è stata la vista e il balcone più alcune delle signore della reception. Tutti dicono che rimarremmo all'Aenos Hotel Kefalonia se fossero apportate alcune migliorie.

Tassa di taxi da €25 per 20 minuti di auto dall'aeroporto. Importante per confermare è il “hotel” che vuoi, poiché ci sono villaggi in un luogo diverso con lo stesso nome. È molto utile e gentile personale alla reception. Dato camera 203 sul secondo piano con balcone molto stretto con grande vista sul porto. Super pulita con letto confortevole. Bagno piccolo con cubico doccia molto piccolo - ma forte flusso acquatico con molta acqua calda. Aircone disponibile e necessario in tempo caldo. Divertiti a bere la sera sul bar superiore del tetto. Situato fuori dalla strada principale con gli negozi e ristoranti, ma la stanza è tranquilla - era la fine di settembre. A circa 700 m dalla stazione di autobus - andavamo a Ithaca con traghetto da Sami. Doveva attraversare la strada poche volte per trovare pavimenti idonei per trascinare i bagagli. La ricezione suggerisce di prenotare direttamente con l'hotel.
