We use this pub quite often for Sunday lunch, which is always good. So this time we headed there on a weekday. The pub was fairly quiet so had a good choice of tables. Service was prompt and friendly. My husband opted for a burger and after changing my mind I decided on fish and chips. The food arrived after a reasonable wait ie sufficient time for it to be freshly prepared. The burger was thick and juicy, great fluffy chips and a side of lovely crunchy coleslaw. The cod was enormous, think whale on a plate! with gorgeous crunchy batter, great chips and plenty of tartare sauce. So pleased that this place serves their sauces in an individual dish- no nasty sachets or grubby bottles. Loved it!, will be back very soon

Il personale è molto amichevole e considerato - quando ero lì ero un viaggiatore solitario e hanno avuto un matrimonio, perché non ero parte della festa di matrimonio, hanno fatto in modo che avessi una stanza lontana dalle feste. La stanza aveva una vista fantastica e non c'era nulla di rumore dal matrimonio. Non c'erano molti sockets di potenza, ma raramente avete tutto quello che volete nella vita!
