Hotel Family-friendly a Antalya

Let’s start off with the hotel itself ; when we arrived we were greeted with a smile from all staff, from the moment we stepped through the doors to the moment we were escorted with our luggage to our rooms & throughout our whole stay. That was a great start for our holiday. Although the rooms may be outdated to other peoples taste but honestly it was fine as we had an amazing view (great for the sunsets & sunrises which I will upload). However the house keeping could be more mindful with the cleaning of the room as my friend had to clean the room with them as they were not cleaning well for what I would expect at a 5* hotel. Room service: We ordered a few things from the menu which came promptly and fresh. We had the option to pay for it then and there with cash in Lira or Euro. Or you could pay at the end of your leave. Amenities: At the time of visiting, the outside pool was closed as this was not the season time but if you do do come at peak times , they have a water slide for the outdoor pool. Spa area on the lower ground was clean. I didn’t use it myself but I had a wonder around and saw that it was being maintained well. You have these towel cards given to you at the time of checking in which you can exchange for towels and you return the towel for your cards to use next time. Bare in mind, if you lose these cards by checking out time you’ll have to pay 10€ each card. So don’t lose them! Restaurant: We opted for the inclusive system, which was well worth it for a relaxing stress free holiday. Each meal time and day was full of different varieties and catered to different diets. The wait staff were lovely and always eager to help. However they could smile a bit more (50% of the men, they look a bit grumpy). The fruit was what I love most mainly because I love fruit but also because the flavours were so fresh and cut in front of you. The drinks from the bar in the main reception area are also part of the inclusive system, for someone who does not drink alcoholic drinks, the bar staff were lovely to point out what was permissible for me to drink and gave me recommendations based on what flavours I like. Location: The hotel is easy to get to from Antalya airport by taxi or public transport. If you really want to get to know the area get the local public transport. But make sure you have your location on and use your maps on your phone wisely as you can get lost. Most of the drivers do not know English so come prepared with Google translate. You have to get the tram and then a bus, then it’s a 10 min walk to the hotel from the main road. You can buy a antalyakart at the airport or use a prepaid travel contactless card ( uk revolut or post office) . It was less than 20 liras in total which is around 85p at the time of this post. The taxi takes around £35/40 one way. So you can guess which method of transport I preferred. To get around : There are taxis which you can grab from outside the hotel & also from the hotel the bus stop on the main road, takes you to various destinations, either backwards to the main city for shopping food etc or you can head further out to Kemer and Finike for days out etc but make sure you have cash for the kemer buses. When you want to get off the bus on the Kemer buses make sure you come to the front of the bus to the driver a few min ahead of your stop and you pay when you leave but remember the name of the stop you got on at cause that’s how they calculate how much your journey was. Or if you’re just a beach person, you can walk to your hearts content alongside the beach path which is less than 3 mins from the hotel entrance . There’s lots of cats and dogs walking along too, very friendly. Wifi connection service is great. For getting out and about definitely get a SIM card at the airport, found Vodafone to be price worthy for 25g. It lasted me for a whole week with 8g left over. It’s really great to stay in this hotel . Actually I booked two hotels in Antalya . The first one is Concorde . Second is Lara. The fees of Concorde is a little cheaper than Lara . But not that much . All the foods and facilities in Concorde is totally a disaster . But when I got to Lara , it’s just like heaven to me. Next time I will book all the nights at Lara . Thanks again to all the staffs of Lara Definitely will visit again

Hotel was as the pictures show. As expected because the rooms are all white it’s easy to see all the scuff marks left by previous visitors. The halls leading to the rooms have black carpets and neon pink lighting which can be a bit dizzying. The rooms have large mirrors on each wall. Felt a bit like a “love hotel” in that sense, if you know what I mean. The bathrooms were clean with instant hot water and a very powerful shower, although what was disappointing was the toilet, I value cleanliness a lot especially with a toilet, they have a basic bidet loo with the the spray nozzle really sticking out which wasn’t t clean at all, I would have preferred a spray gun. They left paper/plastic cups in the room for teas/coffees, apparently for hygiene reasons, the cups smelled like chemicals, I would have preferred a usual ceramic mug being a 5 star hotel. The facilities were in abundance, the spa was definitely a big winner for me. The staff (for the hotel) on the other hand hardly smiled, were uninterested and really unhelpful 99% of the time. I felt like I was a burden even when requesting simple stuff like a bottle of water. I found very few spoke any English, and look I get I’m in a foreign country but if you’re going open up you lands to tourists at least be a bit prepared for the most spoken language in the world! I even used google translate at times but that didn’t seem very useful as for reasons unknown to me the staff still didn’t understand what I was asking for… I went in June, so the outdoor pool was open, I opted to use the indoor pool due to the high temperatures, it was nice that I had it all to myself, the pool was clean but the woods bordering the pool was wearing away and cracking. The hotel food wasn’t that great, I tried breakfast buffet once which was ok I guess for being around £6-7 pp. The lounge menu was dreadful, I ordered a ribeye steak that took 45mins only to be served with a thin overcooked, dry tuna looking thing. I tried to explain this wasn’t ribeye or anything that resembled a steak, they didn’t seem interested and were quick to hand me the bill. Outside the hotels is boulevard, a parade of around 30ish restaurants and coffee shops. Teaming with energy and life, they close around 1am every and have a lovely atmosphere. Prices are not too steep with a decent meal setting you back around 250tl. I’ve got to say I felt unwelcome in turkey, I also went to Istanbul a couple of weeks before this and had a similar experience. Perhaps I’m biased, I was a solo male traveler with a Middle Eastern /Asian complexion, I tipped well, spoke politely and tried not to bother too many people yet I felt like I shouldn’t be there. I have since learned by one of the cafe owners that Turks don’t actually like people of my “complexion” or anyone resembling Middle Eastern people which is disappointing, and the end of the day if you want the tourism be a bit more hospitable at the very least in the hotels.

Had a fantastic week with my family we took three rooms, mine was overlooking the mountains, sea, hotel pool and was fantastic. The other two rooms were also stunning, only down side were they were to hot during the night with the air con not working properly and to be fair we didn't mention it to reception, food was delicious every evening and breakfasts fantastic with loads of choice, drinks package, catered for everyone, the front of house desk needs to inprove thou, we had a alacart, dinner one evening which turned into a farce, seven of us in total, gave orders, when mains arrived only six were served and were stone cold, seventh arrived 15 minutes later again cold, best advise server could offer was to have them reheated, which for us was a no no , mentioned at front reception next morning and they couldn't understand why we were complaining? Eventually a manager who got why we were complaining and arranged for us to expierence the rixos alacart the following evening, we arrived and had to move the tables so we could sit together, the food was served, again one of our guests almost had her meal poured over her, which the waiter didnt react, he could have apologised, and changed the table cloth, anyway another poor impression of fine dining, didn't even bother mentioning to front of house ad they seemed un interested on our first fine dining expierence, Also, two of us playing in the huge swimming pool on our own, hardly anyone used it, as it was so cold, the lifeguard asked us to stop playing pass with a soft ball, even with the pool been empty , fun police I fear,the highlight thou is the beach bar, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic staff, tried land of legends, loved it roller-coasters, we swam with dolphins, the braver ones went in with the sharks, fabulous place, loved it, finally apart from one or two hicups, would definitely recommend this hotel and area, we had the best time, but could have been better

Magnifique hôtel pour un séjour en famille, excellente nourriture variée chaque jour avec du choix. Personnel accueillant et aux petits soins et une qualité de service extraordinaire, le ´roller boy’ toujours là pour nous servir au bord de la piscine. L’animation (activités et soirées) par Yupi et son équipe, est varié, pour tous les goûts On ne se lasse pas de la vue de la chambre côté mer qui est superbe.

Firstly would like to thank hakki who looked after us during our 10 day stay, what a lovely lad he is, always smiling polite just a lovely lad and a credit to the hotel, this truly is an amazing hotel spotlessly clean, great pools always get a sunbed any time of the day staff work really hard food was lovely, pool bar is great vahit will look after you lovely lad,rooms nice and big, couldn't fault anything will definitely be returning next year and probably year after as really enjoyed my stay, thank you miracle for an amazing holiday and see you next yr look forward to seeing hakki❤️ anyone thinking of booking up just do it you will not be disappointed 😀

L'hotel ha un design interno eccellente, un sacco di spazio all'aperto per passare del tempo nel sole, poche negozi, spa, palestra, sessioni di pilates, feste di sera, cibo di buona qualità e diversi tipi di cucina, solo una completa esperienza di vacanza! Lo consiglio veramente!😀

What can I say... I was mortified being transferred here after a Jet2 delayed flight. Alarm bells ringing straight away - if you can get 2 coach loads of families booked here in peak season there has got to be something wrong with the hotel. So we checked trip advisor before we got here. On entering the hotel it looked nice BUT on closer inspection what a dump! Check in process simple but staff aren’t very welcoming. They also keep your passports which I am not keen on but had no choice. 6am check in by time we got there to be told check out at 12:00 & breakfast at 7am. Wasn’t going to be eating after the reviews I saw! Got to room & various issues. Threshold not even fastened down so tripped into the room. Room was big - one large family suite with 2 singles & sofa also bathroom at one side & other room double bed & bathroom. Room was 35° with very poor aircon so zero sleep. Floor filthy, my feet were black after walking round for a few minutes. Most things broken or didn’t work adequately. We did have bedding & curtains unlike most of the other people. Went to investigate food they put on at lunch, saw kitchen & if it was in UK food standards would have closed it down. All food looked like reheated slop! So we did NOT eat & I can see why so many people reported food poisoning on other trip advisor reviews. Hardly anyone in our delayed flight party ate - was not worth the risk. You can’t have cans of pop, bottled water or icecreams without having to pay (not really all inclusive then is it)! We just went hungry until back at the airport. Rather pay out than get ill! The area didn’t seem too welcoming either - didn’t dare walk out to find a shop to get snacks!!! This hotel must literally make its business from cancelled/delayed flights, probably charge airlines a fortune too. Didn’t see any guests at the hotel other than the people on our flight. Airlines definitely need to do their due diligence before using this place again. I have put a report in to Jet2 in hope people don’t have to go to this dump.
