Anne Arundel County: hotel con bar

Ho guardato attentamente tutti gli hotel aerei BWI prima di prenotare, e ho deciso che il Westin probabilmente è il migliore. Ora, dopo essere rimasto lì, sono abbastanza sicuro che avevo ragione. Il posto è pulito e moderno, con un lobby spazioso e un design aggiornato nelle stanze. Here is our checklist for when we stayed at this hotel: Room-clean and it is very roomy. A lot of space Bed-clean and comfy. No stains, bedsheets are clean and tucked in nicely Refrigerator-yes mini Microwave-no Breakfast-no Bathroom-clean Toilet-clean/doesn't clog Shower-water pressure ok, but needs to upgrade shower head Air-condition - works good/not noisy Smell - no weird smell in the room or lobby. Clean smell Area is safe, far away from the city. Surrounded by big plants and trees. Seems secluded at first when we drove thru to get there. View-no view Pool - spa was under renovation. Pool smells like pee and it looks outdated and dirty Built-2008 renovated 2013 Price - $230/night/summer/weekend Overall would stay again if just needed an overnight and just sleep and go type of situation. Room and bed is clean but if planning to enjoy the pool, make sure to call ahead and ask if they have cleaned it thoroughly. For the price you pay, it needs to be well maintained especially they don’t offer free breakfast.

The Maryland Writers' Association held its Annual Conference at the Hilton BWI this month. The experience was outstanding. We planned the conference with Lisa and Hillary from the sales team. Their knowledge and professionalism in handling these events allowed us to concentrate on our conference, not the logistics. Our banquet captain, Sheldon, ensured all our food and drink needs were correct and served on time. Our attendees felt welcomed and highly rated this hotel for a return visit. These recommendations are due to the attitude and dedication of people like Lisa, Hillary, and Sheldon. It's good people who make a hotel visit memorable.

Recently stayed here two nights on a business trip. It was more convenient to where I needed to be for my meeting than staying downtown Baltimore. Plus, I had an early flight out from BWI on my departure day. Check in was fine. I was given my keys to my room on the 10th floor. I was told about the concierge lounge and location given my Titanium status. My first night, to make things easier, I just chose to eat at the bar. I ordered a Stella that was supposedly on tap. I saw the lady pour it from the ”Stella” tap, what came was definitely not a Stella. The bartender tried 3 other taps, no Stella. What I received was fine in the end, but confirmed it wasn't Stella as they had it in a bottle. So I ordered that for my second drink. The food was just frozen food reheated in the fryer (gyozas, onion rings, boneless wings were my order.) I don't think anything was made fresh. It was fine and filled the void. The breakfast buffet was awful. It's the same for the concierge lounge guests and those eating in the restaurant. They just open it up conveniently so both have access, you just get there from different ways. I got eggs and potatoes and they were both so salty I couldn't eat them. I took one bite of each and just left it. The room I received was in need of renovation. The old mirrored closet definitely dated the room. The door handle to the bathroom was two different handles and colors. It was fine for the two nights I was there, but needs some TLC. I appreciated the Smith machine, free weights and multi-purpose machine in the small gym. I was able to get a couple of good workouts in. The gym was also in need of a renovation as it still had what looked like the original wall paper on the walls. The ceiling was so low, you couldn't use the pull-up bar on the multi-purpose machine. You could tell based on the photos outside the gym that they had been there for a while too. It really dated the facilities. Overall, for two nights, it was sufficient. There are other Marriott properties near the airport, so I might try one of them next time I need to go back for meetings.

I brought my son down for football camp at Naval Academy. This hotel was perfect for us. Check in was friendly and quick. Parking is $29 a night and conveniently located. There is a little store with snacks and drinks adjacent to the check in desk. There is also a small restaurant in the lobby for HH drinks and food and breakfast. The breakfast starts before 7 AM which was convenient for us. The room was comfortable and very clean. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and safe. There was a fitness center right n our floor. There was an outdoor pool as well which we didn't use this time. We were able to walk to all the stores and restaurant on the water where we had dinner. We also walked to the Naval Academy (about a 20 minute walk, with all beautiful houses and nice stores to look at on the way). We will definitely stay here again.
